There both great choices but you really cant compare them investment wise.  Supply, market cap, function and price are all so far apart its just doesnt make sense to. Percentage upside is better with TRX; adversely if you cant afford to lose it then ETH is a safer bet.

For the past few months it was agreed that Obelisk SC1 had completely missed the mark after BMs realease of the A3.

Ive been following the Obelisk forums and the Dev team recently announced that they intend to fork SC to invalidate 3rd party miners on the network and help compensate Obelisk investors for the late shipping date.

If the SC1 is all of sudden the only hardware that can mine Siacoin then it will probably be one of the most valuable miners on market until competitors find a way to catch up.

Ive decided to pull the trigger on a few SC1s and well see how the next few weeks shake out. Happy mining!

I have friends that were ETH miners way back. Their rigs became unprofitable for a while and they quit. 2017 was a heart breaking year for them having had so much ETH at one point and having sold almost all of it. Thankfully they held onto a little something however they really regretted giving up way back then. Its nothing compared to the guy who sold me his BTC miners in 2014 though. It seem every time someone quits someone else finds opportunity.

It all depends what people invest in. Hopefully the majority have learned their lesson not to take large positions into crap projects. If the average and inexperienced investors stays in the top 20-30 coins/tokens robust growth in Alts is fairly certain. However the poop is still being steadily strained out of the market but its good to see people thinking twice about making moves now.

IOTA - I always throw a percentage of any trading profits to acquire more.

IOTA has been my number one accumulation crypto asset since I was introduced to it. The effort and focus on R&D is almost unparalleled in the space. If BTC continues to climb I plan to steadily transition more of my assets into it for the longer term hold.

I received a notification from Bitmain that the partial refund for the B3 was completed however I have not received any payments to my BCH address. Anyone else having the same issue?

What exchanges are dealing in mainnet coins now?

Havent been able to find one.

Still no payment from Antpool. Its been hanging in paying mode since 5/5 and its at the point they owe me quite a lot.
It sounds like others are still having the same issue as well. Lets hit up SM together if nothing happens in the next 2 days.



As for the fans, just unplug the front one. Temps and operation are fine. Running like that for 7+ days in a hot climate. Quiet as you can hope for.

So now I have two types of tokens for Bytom

Mainet tokens in the BTM wallet from Uupool and ERC20 Tokens mined to an exchange address from Antpool.

This is highly unusual.

He must be mining with UUPPOOL. Antpool is using ERC20 addresses only to my knowledge.

Which makes me second the questions is how do these get transferred to an exchange. Every exchange address Ive seen is also using ERC20 formatted addresses.

If you want to take a gamble with a few of your tokens from the BTM wallet, send them to a ERC20 address and see if they show up on the chain. Skeptical this will work though.

Also there is 550+ miners on Antpool noe and no one is reporting rewards in their dashboard? I find this very hard to believe. How is there no info about this anywhere?

Return is epic for the moment as long as they pay out.

It doesnt seem that the miner monitors fan speed in this miner version. As far I can tell it runs the fans on full and completely skips the fan test cycle that usually occurs post boot with other Bitmain models.

It also runs incredible cool at just under 35 chip temps with sub 30 board temps. Thats with no cooling in a warm weather climate.

Obviously its because of the low wattage requirements. So are these fans total overkill for this miner?

Appears they slapped in stock S9 fans with no rpm governance or checks.
