Re: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?

Not recommended or outdated Wallets
These wallets are either not-recommended for some reason or outdated. You should not use them! Please note that here we only list wallets that were previously on the list, or were suggested to be included by others. This does not include ALL wallets that exist and are not recommended. Wallets that are strongly not recommended:
  • Copay, Bitpay, Blockchain.info, BTC.com — untrustworthy, misleading customers, high fees, lacking implementation.
  • ...

I have seen that Bitcoin.org is using the API of Blockchain.com for its donation button. [thinking]

Re: Bustabit (v2) Seeding Event
by

Bustabitv2 has been launched (under new ownership)!

The original hash for v1 provably fair was "ac4b6c46171daa0189b679bd7523c7bab6410f7155a21635b7e0ecdf370a9000" if anyone wants to check future games

Can I know what hash is used after the Bustabit v1? I can't find this hash "ac4b6c46171daa0189b679bd7523c7bab6410f7155a21635b7e0ecdf370a9000" on 4.2 million hashes.

This is a dope theme! Thank you for sharing Cheesy
Hello, Mitchell. Thank you and I really appreciate it! Cheesy

As an amateur web dev myself, I honestly like how simple and elegant it looks, been using an addon on my chrome for a dark theme and I actually tried making a forum with 3 themes, just a random forum for my colleagues, and I like what you did there on the navigation bar, it looks good!  Grin
Thank you for the feedback, dupee419. I felt very appreciated after hearing your kind words at this small work!

We made the decision to update Crash using a salted hash as requested by our players in order to provide the most randomized and fair results possible after Bet # 2561902
For further details, please visit https://bcsnproject.github.io/bcgame-crash/
Can I know what is the hash was used after the bet #2561902?

What is the official explorer and value API for Bitcoin?
by
Vyrine
on 07/02/2021, 10:27:23 UTC
Hello, I am new to cryptocurrency development, and I have noticed that Bitcoin has an official wallet for both Desktop and Mobile (correct me if I am wrong).

My question is, does Bitcoin have an official explorer and value API (such as Bitcoin to fiat conversion) too? If not, are there services or APIs for developers that are recommended and widely used?

Your crash game is open source. Why the history explorer of your game, Crash, is only at 2000 games? It is more useful if we can see the history of data from scratch. That would be very helpful, though. Smiley

Server load. Every time a game round completes a call for data from the server occurs and is posted in the historical data chart. 2000 is a very generous amount of data to offer with a simple click of a button. As with any real provably fair game, all historical game rounds can be verified. It just takes a bit more work. Like requesting an archive of bets from support. Having this information available on the frontend for every user is to resource intensive. I can't think of any crash game that has more than a day or two of data available without the need to request an archive.

Bustabit has that kind of feature, https://github.com/bustabit/shiba#streak. Can I know what's algorithm did you use on that feature? I will use them for personal purposes and will open source too if it is okay.

Great topic OP , i really loved the blue theme and my eyes feel much better now than with the white theme .

also if you could make some edits to code and make the color of the pins topics section different than the other sections, this will help us more the recognize them which if find it really hard with the current theme , thanks .
Hello, Thanos01! I've added it to the backlog and I will mention you as soon as I start working on it. Thank you!

This thread was posted before and deleted for some reason.
I like your dark theme. The only thing that I would like to see changed are the trust ratings that are in black. I feel like white or blue would fit better. Is there a reason why you choose to make only that part in black?
Hello, Pmalek! The first thread was deleted because the URL was marked as spam by system. By the way, thank you for noticing that black font. It is fixed now. Thank you!

Hello, Stalker22! This small work is Stylish-compatible. I've updated the thread on how to install it with Stylish Extension (Addon). Thank you!

Yes, I've just tried that. It seems to be working perfectly. Thank you!

I'm really a fan of dark themes for forums and blogs, because I think dark mode helps minimize eye strain. Especially in low-light conditions. I really like what I'm seeing here.

I think the browser extension "Stylish" is one of the most popular ways to customize the color scheme of web pages. @Vyrine, maybe you should consider making your theme compatible with that extension, making it easier for users to install and apply on the website.

Is the theme usable now? I really love dark mode when it comes to websites. Hopefully, you will drop the instructions on this thread because I am wary of links although I know it is github link, I still have to take measure.
Hello, Lorence.xD. Yes it is usable, perfectly! And I've updated the thread on how to install. Thank you!
