According to my experience, trading with only one method or style is not beneficial. At first, I only used to trade with long term method. I would wait for weeks for prices to reach the bottom-low and would buy my coins. And then waited until they hit the ceiling so that I can sell them for a good amount of profit. This method is safe and well-proven but soon I realized that I'm depriving myself of many other smaller but more accessible opportunities during my long waiting.
After some studies and careful considerations, I decided to include day trading to my trading plan to increase my earnings. To reduce the risks of failure or losing my capital, I divided my investment into two parts and allocated 50/50 to long term and day trading. My strategy is that, I check prices every day, analyze the market and try to grab any earning opportunities that may happen during a day (or week). However, when the prices fall heavily, I switch again to long term trade (I buy and hold).
