Yes it could reach 700 or even higher, but no one can say when will this happen. Yes its true that it reach 500 form 400 this past week but like always, cryptocurrency is very volatile and very unpredictable. So until then, lets just keep our hopes up and be ready when it happens.

by
Wabaman
on 12/04/2018, 07:36:57 UTC
I've read an article in the internet that cryptocurrency exchange is growing in number. As of now the number of exchange is already about 500 and counting. Other countries are now creating their very own exchange, does this means that cryptocurrencies is being acknowledged better now than ever before? And if it does, does having more exchange could greatly affect the prices of cryptocurrencies?

Re: Imagine a cashless society

It is like, imagining a virtual money, we can't touch our own money, but we can use it. Sometimes, we seldom bring bags, we know how difficult to bring bags. Sometimes, we forget our own wallets, cash, card, etc., we know how important our money is, but if we have a cashless society, it is a big innovation for us. We use our own cellphones and other gadgets to buy what we want.
Yeah exactly what i think. This reminds of a anime movie called sword art online ordinal scale, all of thier transaction is through phones. Just by scanning thier phones on a vending machine to purchase drinks is really awesome.

Imagine a cashless society

on 11/04/2018, 01:50:19 UTC
Just by using your phone, you could purchase almost anything. No need to withdraw on an atm. No more heavy coins on your pocket. Paying bills, and purchasing tickets without standing on a line. Very convenient and less time consuming. I know we're already using credit cards right now, but using a single currency like bitcoin world wide could really help on transaction, having less error than the normal and faster transfer and of course the security. Do you guys think this could happen in the future of bitcoin?

Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin

Having this small capital, for me the best and fastest way to increase your profit is to convert it into altcoins and start buy and sell. Using this method you could you double your capital in a very short time. The only downside of this method is that you should invest a lot of your time on monitoring the market. Which is pretty much tiring if you ask me. You dont really know when the price will go up or down, so you really have to monitor the market most of the time.

I'm a newbie and honestly, bitcoin is new to me.. I just heard this few months ago from a friend who invested his own money. But from other friend told me that he earned bitcoin here in bitcointalk without investing money from his own pocket. Maybe some of you here can advise me what to do to earn bitcoin?

Hi. I'm a newbie here too, i've read few threads here that can help you. If you want to earn bitcoin here, you need to level your account. Leveling your account is required to qualify on a certain campaign, this campaigns will hire a specific ranks that will help them advertise. Right now most campaigns are requiring member rank or higher, there are multipe guides here on how to level your account and the basic knowledge that you need to understand on how you could earn without investing. One campaign in particular is the signature campaign, this is where i would like to start earning. There are other methods too to earn bitcoin here, but since im a newbie like you im still learning now. Just look for guides for beginners here, browse the forum, you could really find some information that you need.

Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin?

I think buying bitcoin is better than mining. You could use bitcoins as a capital investment, then you could convert it to altcoins. By reading the flow of the market in an exchange, you could determine when to buy and sell your altcoins, this is a more profitable method than mining. You just have to invest more time in monitoring the market and always be update on the current news about cryptocurrencies.

Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin?
by

Holding and selling your bitcoin really depends on what was the price when you bought it. I always consider that bitcoin price might not go up for a little longer. If you bought your bitcoin when it was on hype, possibly between 11,000 - 19,000. I dont think you should sell it right now, with the current week price changing from 6,900 - 7,100 for obvious reason. But if you bought it this current week, then you could easily decide if you want to sell it or hold into it.

Re: why all coins are dropping?
by
Wabaman
on 01/04/2018, 11:28:38 UTC
From what i've read on different news online about cryptocurrency, price drops due to the increase of supply but decrease on demand. This started when bitcoin and some altcoins increase its price this last december 2017. Investors got hype and started investing more on that particular coins. As result the supply of those cryptocurrencies increase and the rate of demand decrease. That's why the high price of coins could not be sustained, resulting to gradual decrease of prices of cryptocurrencies.

Re: How can buy some altcoin??
by
Wabaman
on 01/04/2018, 02:48:51 UTC
Hi. I'm assuming you already have some knowlegde about cryptocurrency, so what you want to understand is on how to acquire altcoins.
First thing you need is to get your very own digital wallet, this is where you will deposit your fiat. Most popular digital wallet that i've read was coinbase, It is base in the US. Depending on your country, there are local digital wallets that you can use. Some digital wallets already offers altcoins, but the only problem is there are only a handful to choose from.
Next thing you need is to find is an exchange. Every exchange has a certain variety of altcoins, so it is important that before choosing an exchange you first need to choose on what altcoins you are going to get. To name a few popular exchange that i could recommend is binance, poloniex, bittrex and kraken.
Lastly is how you can get the altcoin you wish to have. Now that you have a digital wallet, already deposit your fiat, altcoin that you want and an exchange, you can now buy an altcoin. In the exchange just find the deposit section, here you'll need to enter your digital wallet address. Then enter the amount you like to deposit. Im assumming that your fiat is already converted to bitcoin or whatever cryptocurrency that the exchange is accepting. Next is to find the altcoin you want to get. Click on the altcoin, then click buy, enter the amount you want depending on how much you deposit and there you have it, you now have the altcoin that you want.
If you what more detailed instruction on how to acquire altcoins, you can always find it on the internet.

Hope this helps.

Re: Best tip on saving money
by
Wabaman
on 29/03/2018, 03:31:45 UTC
There are a lot of ways to save your money, and what i'm going to tell you is what i personnally do to save money.
1. Record your expenses - Make a list where you spend your money in a daily basis. Here you will figure out how much spend everyday.
2. Make a budget - after figuring out your daily expenses, make a budget. (I base my budget on my monthly salary so that is what i going to show you) also consider your monthly bills like rents, electric bill, water bill etc. Add up all your total expenses for the month, then subtract it on your monthly income equals your remaining salary.
3. Saving - now that you have a budget you can start saving. The remaining money of your monthly income will be divided in to 3 parts. First is savings, put atleast 50% of your remaining income on savings. Second is emergency fund, this is the money that you will use on a very unexpected expenses. Put atleast 20-30% in it. Having a emergency fund helps, so that you dont have to use your current money on your savings. Third is pleasures, put your remaining percentage in it. Nothings better than using your hard earned money on what you like. Doing this lessen the pressure on saving.
4. Monitor you savings - monitor your progress, knowing how much you save gives you the comfort and assurance that you dont have to worry about money.

This is basically it. Its up to you on when or how you will use your saving, you can invest it or use it on building your on business or whatever you want.

Hope this helps.

Re: can bitcoin change our world?
by
Wabaman
on 25/03/2018, 11:19:24 UTC
I think bitcoin will not change that. Bitcoins only have a strong influence on the world currency system. Bitcoins are growing around the world. There are many people who invest in bitcoin. But there are still some countries and big corporations that do not accept bitcoins. so bitcoin can not change the world.
It is us who can change the world, we are the nation's backbone and bitcoin is the result of human's creativity and innovation. It is truly a breakthrough, though it has not been recognized by other sectors but many claims its great impact to the world, and to Economy. It makes waves across the globe and many has benefited it. I just hope that time will come it will be adapted in other countries and realize its importance.
wow i agree to this post, yes we are the one's who can change the world. Bitcoin is just an instrument or tool, that we can use to improve our way of life. Imagine a world with cashless transaction everything is paid digitally, less human interaction means less error. I really hope that the world acknowledge the benefits that bitcoin can offer.

I think that one of the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is that, it can be use on llegal transactions like selling or buying smuggle goods or even illegal trading on black market. It can also be use on illegal laundering. The transaction are very secure and private, that is why it is prone the illegal activities.

Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy?
by

on 23/03/2018, 13:35:33 UTC
Bitcoin price to day is currently around 8,500 usd, and for the past week bitcoin price is playing from 8,500 to 9,000. If what you are asking is, what is the good price to buy bitcoin right now, then i could say lower than 8,500. I could be wrong but from what the chart is showing right now, i dont think that bitcoin price could get any lower than 8,000 anytime soon.

Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money?

on 22/03/2018, 01:41:59 UTC
If you have the knowledge, then yes. Having the knowledge about  how it works gives you the advantage on how you could profit, just like any other form of invesments. Always remember that every investments has the risk of losing your hard earned cash, that is why before investing you should study, learn on how it works, look at the background of the company, the people who's working on it, what are thier goals, will thier goals be any good in the industry of cryptocurrency. Spend your time researching and learning. With enough knowledge the potential risk on losing in an investment will be less.

Re: Holding is bullshit?
by
Wabaman
on 21/03/2018, 08:06:15 UTC
Holding coins really depends on when was the time you bought it. As of today most coins drops for the average of 50-60 percent based on thier highest price. Like for example bitcoins highest price of all time was almost 20,000 usd, right now the current price is around 8,500-9,000 usd. So if you invested at the time when bitcoin was around 18,000-20,000 then you really are messed up, but if you buy today, it is possible that it could return to its highest price or even higher. Just study the market, study the background of the coins you wish to buy, read currrent news about cryptocurrency and always monitor the movement of the price of your coins. Considering all of this, and you can now decide when to sell or to hold you current coins.

Re: What happen with ETH Price ?
by
Wabaman
on 21/03/2018, 06:54:24 UTC
Eth is just following the foots steps of bitcoin just like any other altcoins do. Its just a matter of how high or low is thier price are going. For example if bitcoin drops by lets say 30% in 1 day, other altcoins will also drop but with different percentage, possibly higher or lower. This happen most of the time. Another example, try to look at the price charts, if you look at the price of bitcoin dated february 6, 2018 and compare it to other cryptocurrencies, you'll see that almost all cryptocurrencies drops at the same date. Just follow the bitcoin thread you might get an idea.
