I pretty much copied the steps from a Stratis Staking Post - Found here https://olcko.gitbooks.io/staking-stratis-on-a-raspberry-pi/content/
You can pretty much copy the steps from that, just replace the GIT and folder names

Just replace stratisX with the EquiTrader folder. Cant remember the name.

Ya, youre right man. To be honest I was brand new to crypto when I bought in and should have waited for it to come down.
Kicking myself I didnt put the money into NEO as it was still 7.50euro at the time.
But here I am, lesson learned.
I'll hold until after the beta anyway. It "should" go up a but by then.
If not, I hope the coins I have from staking will take some of the brunt from the hit

I contributed to the project via KICKICO on the 16th Nov.
I have logged into micromoney.io but there are no coins there and there is nothing in the payment log.

Have they been distributed to people who contributed via KICKICO yet?

Made my first purchase of UTN today using KICKICO.
Might as well use the coins to invest in something instead of sitting there going down in price daily.

I received my coins about 30min after the purchase.

I like to run a multiple raspberry pi's for coins I'm staking.

I have no idea what is in the code I'm compiling when making a wallet so I prefer to keep them separate.

I'm down 35% since I bought in.
Looking forward to seeing it bounce back when the beta is released.

Ive made a little guide to help people stake Equitrader on your Raspberry PI. (trust me, its easy to do and the doc is probably too long)

My PI currently has Raspberry Jesse Pixel - So I have a GUI and can use the QT wallet
I think its been renamed "RASPBIAN STRETCH WITH DESKTOP" now.

Step 1) Install Jessie Pixel
To run Equitrader-qt, it will require the Raspbian Jessie Pixel Operating System. Make sure you download and install the correct OS, or this will not work

Step 2) Configure Raspbian
First Run to install the latest OS updates. You must REBOOT for changes to take affect !

You will need to configure some options for the Operating System in order for Equitrader to work correctly, this is done using raspi-config from terminal.
Begin by running raspi-config from the prompt:

Select Option 4 [Localisation Options]
Follow the prompts to change your language to (for sake of ease, we're choosing english / united states). On the last screen choose none.
Go back to the main menu.

Select Option 7 [Advanced Options]

Select Option A0 [Update]
Press ESC to exit raspi-config, and reboot your Pi

Step 3) Increase the Swap File Size
Next we are going to increase the swap space by editing the swap configuration file and restarting the service:

Modify the line for CONF_SWAPSIZE and set it to 512 or 1024 and save the file (CTRL-O, ENTER, CTRL-X).
# set size to absolute value, leaving empty (default) then uses computed value
#   you most likely don't want this, unless you have an special disk situation
CONF_SWAPSIZE=1024
Restart the swapfile service:

Time to Build the Wallet
Step 1) Install EquiTrader-qt--ubuntu64 packages:
Step 2) Download Equitrader Source - cd
You will now have a new folder Equitrader in your home folder, you can see this by typing ls at the prompt

Step 3) Compile the Equitrader-qt Wallet
Run the code:
Once compilation has completed, you'll be returned to the prompt and you can now start your shiny new wallet from within the Equitrader folder:

Step 4) Start Equitrader from anywhere in Rpi [Optional]
If you'd like to be able to start the wallet from anywhere in terminal, place the binary into the folder /usr/local/bin:

Think of it as a way to check if sending coins from you wallet works 

Your wallet needs to be open to stake.
So your PC would need to be on 24/7.
Id recommend a Raspberry PI as it would be alot cheaper to run than a PC

But theres nothing else you need to do
