Any idea how long it takes for Poloniex to add PIVX, assuming they plan to do so?

I guess Poloniex is protecting the market of some coins ("coof´Dash coof"... maybe?) because they are also investors of them for sure.
I could be wrong but I strongly believe that if they add PIVX, it will move some interest/focus from that "protected icons"...

IMO at the end of the day, PIVX will do it's own way with or without any additional exchange.

I feel like it's my duty to inform the world that it is insane to short a hyper deflationary currency/medium. This is not a stock, it's not a commodity. It's a system of commerce. Going long you risk only the capital you put up, if short, you have infinite risk. Infinite risk on a hyper DEFLATIONARY asset. Think about it, it's going to get people hurt eventually.

It's not funny either, I want to express the idea a bit better, I think it's important for people to grasp.

You're amusing. Do you think anybody who has been around for years really cares what the price does tomorrow? True story: the whole way up to $120, I'm thinking to myself "Wow, this is awesome. Too bad it's not anywhere close to my exit point." The time horizon of most of us is measured in years, and future expected value is in the thousands. Have fun with the markets (if you're really the whale you claim you are) for the next week, or month, or however long. We inexorably grind forward.

For what it's worth, the whale at .04 is Otoh (he came in Dash Nation Slack and told us) and he has a history of sticking around for awhile =) He could always change his mind of course and move or pull the wall, but it's definitely not fake (put there just to manipulate the price with no intention of buying anything). Otoh is as legit as they get.

Imagine that you were an expert Wall Street trader. One of the very best. One of the guys that makes millions a year in bonuses.

Imagine you found a market where there are toons of "noobs" thinking they are pro traders. The market is thinly traded and illiquid. Wild swings are common, and there are no regulations at all. No SEC oversight, nothing.

Now imagine that as a Wall Street professional trader you have access to amazing software tools. Imagine that you have programs that watch all the margin-enabled markets on Poloniex. Imagine that these programs also watch the lending markets. Now imagine that the software correlates all of the trades on Polo with all of the lending that occurs on Polo.

Imagine that you therefore "knew" where all of the large margin positions were and because you knew at what price those orders were placed at, you knew their liquidation points. Look at the hockey-stick rise to .124. Most of the really huge green candles were most likely shorts being liquidated, including the rise from .11 to .124 itself. Look at yesterday's trading; that drop to .035 sure looks like a margin long liquidation to me.

Please trade carefully folks. I have a feeling that you're up against some of the best traders in the world. I think some Wall Street or City folks are finally starting to learn of the crypto markets.

Just dump them already... No need to prove anything. Dash = Scam = Sell. Simple

Hi everyone.  Wow, such a busy week.  I had a great time meeting everyone at the open house!  Such an amazing group of people!  They came from EVERYWHERE to gather for one evening.  California, Oregon, Florida, Canada, South America, OMGosh!  And we overwhelmed the conference room.  They had to open the split conference room to allow for the overspill!  LOL.  I can tell you now, that Dash people are the nicest people in the world.  It was a life-changing experience for me.  I've always been the black sheep and I was in a crowd of people talking about the things that move my world, because it moved their world too!  And yet, I got some good new fresh perspectives on things as well. 

Evan said he's been writing books (he was talking about how much planning he is doing).  He's mostly thinking about the next level of Dash.  He calls the DAOs.  He asked an attendee what he does for a living, and was told "I'm a fire fighter".  So Evan explained that one day, fire fighters will be paid for via a DAO.  Everything the people see as needed, they can fund with a DAO.  If we had a DAO to fund the police, flyinfree was saying to me, then they would HAVE to make progress on the problems, or else they would be defunded and others hired (I hope I'm basically expressing this right ;P)  There is plenty of good research done on issues of poverty and violence, but really there is woefully little done to help solve the actual problems.  Instead we simply perpetuate conflict and of course, that feeds into the need for more police and more money, etc... for a dysfunctioning system.

So Evan is working out how these DAOs would function on the blockchain and is writing volumes of manuals/white papers, LOL.  And he's so "in the Zone" if you can imagine.  I almost worry we'll lose him in his mind, LOL.  He looks really happy, like a man who knows he'll spend the rest of his life working on what he believes matters and will make a difference in this world.  What better Nirvona, eh?  So if you're wondering what Evan is doing, he's already 5-10 years possibly 100 years ahead of the rest of us!  Don't make the mistake of thinking he's not working, because he most certainly is. But the coding, immediate planning (to complete the vision of Evolution) marketing, etc... are all covered by our capable Dash Core team now.

What was striking is to see an entrepreneur who isn't a control freak.  He was able to attract amazing people around him, and hand over the reins.  And when I say amazing people, I mean it!  Ryan is incredible, So are coingun and all the team! Top of the line!  I have no doubt that the core team around the world are just as incredible. Dash is a well oiled machine.  Watching this dude with 777 on the end of his name manipulate the price (if that's the case) is highly annoying and destructive.  It hurts people, hell it may devastate people   This is the scum of the earth whom Crypto has attracted.  But there is a counter balance to them, and that's the amazing great people of crypto, and Dash has a disproportionately high number of these people.  And that's due to Evan's amazing brilliance and personality.

Remember, bad people make up only 10% of the population at most.  The other 90% are good people.  That's why good always wins
