You can't issue smart contracts on Iota.
Iota will be an oracle for smart contract platforms such as ethereum and rootstock

wow, i leave this thread for a few days after politely commenting on a potential flaw regarding an implementation due to lack of mathematical sophistication, acknowledgement of where to find the code and having looked at it to say that the conversation on github is more civil than here, only to find my comment removed.

clearly the devs know more math than anyone else and solidly refute sound mathematical proofs.

You and every else is blowing the severity of the bug out of proportion, for your own malicious agenda. They only thing this does is reveal which public key in the ring signature is the actually sending coins.
The required use of stealth addresses still protects the recipient of each transaction. I believe the token system also offers some protection.
