There is no doubt that Xabi will face big problems. But since he is talented, he will definitely find a suitable way out of the problem. We can trust Alonso.
I think the question would be whether the fans or the board have enough patience for him. even though real madrid's current performance is quite bad, it's a good idea to give xabi alonso time to improve his game. he just needs support and time to improve real madrid's performance and i'm sure he can do that considering he has experience bringing leverkusen back to life, and moreover real madrid has the best players like mbappe, belingham, vinícius, rüdiger, rodrygo, and other players, so technically he has what he needs to improve real madrid's performance, so it's only a matter of time for this process to bear good results.
After watching the results of yesterday's friendly match in America, Real Madrid still seems to have some work to do. ^^^It is just a like trying to get a right answer when you are asking the wrong question in my view. The OP speaks about poverty and gambling, which is already something of a red flag.
