So ETF means exchange traded fund where investment funds are traded on stock exchanges in different index . So Why its so significant in crypto ?
Our crypto market has about 240 Billion market cap and price of bitcoin is $6500 at this market cap and we all know our market went to 800 Billion market cap in 2017 end and that time bitcoin went to $19500 So its very simply calculation if we want to see our bitcoin at $65000 then total market cap must be about 3 trillion which can only happen if Bitcoin ETF get approved by SEC as it will result in flood of money into crypto when traders will be able to trade with single click from there brokerage account to buy sell bitcoin . Why Bitcoin ETF Is Not Approved Yet ?
Till date whenever Bitcoin ETF filler was filled to get SEC approval they had 2 main concerns to approve ETF which were : 1 - Lack of global regulatory rules which surrounds crypto and crypto exchanges and we all know Japan and south korea are two major countries which deal max in crypto and they had no regulations earlier but now both have regulation done for there exchanges and have regulation for crypto accepted . So one of the major hurdle is already cleared by now .
2- SEC has shown concern for investors money in case of hacks , private keys lost so what will happen if any of miss happening happened for investors fund ? So for that CBOE has stated that it has secured insurance for the investors and that means the second hurdle which was for ETF approval has also been removed this time around .
So now this filler from CBOE group has it all in it to get approval from SEC as its gives them assurance on things that they asked for and filler from CBOE in itself is big thing as it is one of the biggest and reputable exchange .
So what are your thoughts about CBOE ETF approval this time around ? Do you think we will see it getting approved this time around ? Do you think we will see bitcoin to reach $65000 in 2018 ?
I don't necessarily think so, I think we will see a spike in price though. But I really hope it will take off like that.

You could potentially earn that..you could earn even more than that. But you can also lose that and more...so think twice. If it really was that easy everyone would be doing it, and everyone would be rich.
So many projects are based on this idea of decentralized file storage, I myself struggle to see why an average user (someone like my mother) would want to use a decentralized service rather than dropbox to store compilation of vacation pictures and videos (or whatever she stores).
But I'm no data scientist or cloud computing expert ya know? So my perspective is probably very biased and misinformed, ultimately I can't envision that SO MANY smart people and entrepreneurs would be dabbling with this business model if it doesn't have huge potential to impact current systems.
The "regular" people don't even care, a good amount of people know they are giving away their privacy by using google, facebook, instagram, twitter etc. And they still don't care.
I think that people like Mt. Gox from Tokyo now a lot. In recent weeks, bitcoin has been slowly but surely growing in price. However, no one can say how long this will take place. Given that he still has 180,000 bitcoins left, and he said he will continue to drop them in batches to pay off his creditors, this should be expected at any time, regardless of what he said that will happen no earlier than September. Therefore, our forecasts that bitcoin can reach high price values, can and remain at the level of forecasts. Adjustments in its price can be made by such persons as Gox.
It does feel somewhat salty to still see the effect of what mark karpeles has done, how is that guy not in jail.

Funny troll is funny. But it's still sad to see someone trying to make a living or at least some money by being such a dirtbag.

Australia is being smart, they recognize crypto and especially bitcoin for the force that it is. All the smart countries do or they will eventually.
I am curious about your point of view though. Could you imagine blending the real world with something like a smart contract?
For example, could you imagine buying a car at a dealership with ONLY a smart contract, or would you expect to sign additional legal terms along with it?
My feeling is you need both, but thats because some terms seem hard to automate (like a reasonable grace period if youre late on the loan). Or, how would you resolve a situation where the car is defective or warranty disputes...
Smart contracts are currently more used for digital applications, it's not really a contract like the physical paper we know in real life. Where person A makes an agreement with person B. At least not yet, but who knows how things go if eth really goes mainstream.

I don't think there is any room in crypto for a centralized currency, just use any fiat currency of your choice if you want centralization and feel the need to be regulated in some way.

Seems to me like another sign of coindesk not doing their due diligence. And they shouldn't take things like this too lightly.
Maybe it would be better to make a distinction between those for and against Bitcoin Cash with those that are against Roger Ver using bitcoin.com to allude that it is about Bitcoin when it is about Bitcoin Cash
No need for people to post about the virtues and benefits (if there are any) of BCH when this thread is about amongst many things whether Ver is fooling people in to believing going to bitcoin.com will give them bitcoin wallets when it gives them the option to download Bitcoin Cash wallets
Yes it's not about the specs, features or coin. It's about Roger Ver trying to fool people (I almost want to use the word scam)
This is really awesome! I know some banks are secretly developing their own crytocurrencies too! I would say now is still a very good time to dive in for all cryptocurrencies
As long people all over the way has ways to use them, they will moon!
If they are secretly developing these currencies then how do you know about it?

A lot of ico's don't even create their own software, nor their own blockchain, as they are mostly tokens. I'd say they don't even need 90% of the money they are trying to raise from the ico.

Aah well shitcoins are gonna shitcoin. Not even top 100 in the future.
I think MTX is only available in some exchanges and its trading volume is also low. You'd better consider coins like ADA, TRX, XVG and more, because their prices are cheaper and they have great developers.
Show some class and stop mentioning random coins that you happen to have invested in.
