Hey guys

I made a cross long position in Bitmex. The order was made @18999 USD. Just after the order was made Bitmex showed
Entry Price = 18900USD
RoE = -47%

A) Why is the Entry Price almost 100USD lower than the actual price when the order was made?
B) Why is RoE in -47% just after the order was made?

Does anybody know how to create sub accounts in Bitmex? I would like to have different positions in different sub accounts.

The reason is because Bitmex combines my positions together, and makes it harder for me to create different positions.

I have some questions about the liquidation calculator in Bitmex.

Lets assume, I have 1 XBT in wallet and made a 1000 USD position with 10x leverage.

A) Is the Quantity in USD or XBT? Is it the position including the leverage?
B) Is the Wallet in USD or XBT?
C) What is Current Qty and Resulting Qty?

What will the liquidation price be if I have
A) 1 BTC in my account
B) 0.5 BTC in my account


If I reach my liquidation price, what happens if I deposit more funds in my account?

A) Will there still be liquidation even if I have funds in the account? I mean if my position if 0.5 BTC with leverage 5x, and I have 0.5 BTC in account.

B) If I add more funds to the account, will my position still be liquidated?

Now, let assume I have 1 BTC in my account.
I made a 0.5 BTC long position with 5x leverage.
Open position: 18000
Close position: 18500

How do I calculate the liquidation level when my position is closed?

Why do you think that some brokers does not have BTC/USD? For example, Binance. They have BTC/USDT and BTC/USDC but not BTC/USD.

Let say that my position was closed 18100 by the take profit. What will my profit be?
