Re: What will you do with your Bitcoin in 2018? Will it become more valuable?

while I plan to keep it at home and buy more prices are not profitable for sale so it's worth keeping and not panicking

The price of bitcoin, bitcoin cash and other good coins are low. It is good time to collect more.

i still do not for what i am doing with my bitcoin this coming year.yes we know that bitcoin will become more valuable this year, but we have to be wise for selling our bitcoin,we must look for the good price then go for it .

I will still collect the bitcoin and use some and hold the rest. The price could be higher in the future.

Re: [2018-0406] Fortune.com: Former Bitcoin Exchange CEO No Longer Believes In BTC

He should worry himself with the charges against him relating to the loss of millions of dollars worth of bitcoins and cash from Mt.Gox exchange and how the trustees are destroying the price of bitcoin with the massive sell off.

I think the bitcoin he got in the exchange already paid off all the investors loss as the loss is in fiat, not bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin ends a year at $10 000

Today Galaxy Investment Partners Founder Mike Novogratz said to Bloomberg: "Bitcoin is like gold, it has value because people say it has value".
He believes bitcoin ends a year at $10 000! Can you believe this?!
Well, very optimistic, do not have time to gain such a height, my guess is a stop in the 8400 area.

I think the $8400 can be reached in a week. If there is no attack from Bitcoin Cash, the price could be around $10,000.

you talk about 6,000$ and now we track price to up to 6,500$ (only 1 day make change )

The price has already broken $6100. If the 2X upgrade is cancelled, the price could be higher.

If I total it for about 0.2btc only when the time btc is not that high. But now bitcoin price is increasing and I know it will continuosly higher. If I save 0.5btc way back maybe I will earn for about 4btc when its below $500. Anyway, Im still saving and holding a little amount of btc in my wallet.

I think it is a good advice to save some bitcoin and bitcoin cash. I hold both just in case.

When will be this thing ?
Eth need people that mining or they lost power to make smart contracts /  Ethereum Virtual Machine, that will be very userfull in future. Eth it is not also crypto eat power but also build something userfull.

I think that is the reason why the ETH price is so high.

In short it won't.

No one knows when eth will go pos, so enjoy the profit for now.
Ethereum has about 600k gpu's mining and by pos there will probably be over 1 million gpus on the network searching for profit elsewhere.

At that time big sell offs of gpus will happen this will be the resetting period of mining.
When the next profit coin hits then you hope to have gpus to mine with.

I think 1 million GPU moving to the ZEC will raise the difficulty quite a lot.

The sec announces at what time?

There is no fixed time. It can be any time during the working hours.

I have .007 bitcoins during rise and its a very small amount of bitcoins i know  Grin But im starting to save some bitcoins right now based on my prediction starting from now price of bitcoins will increase continously.

I actually wished I had come into Bitcoin earlier and I have gathered enough during this time because following what is happening now, its still a period of rise and I am hoping its been kept at that for my sake. For me, I have gathered at most 0.1btc over the last few months I have found my way into this world and couldnt have asked for more.
Still you have a chance to accumulate bitcoins, the fact that we cannot return to the past, we must face what the current situation brings to us. We can invest still and maybe buy and hold as the price is still rising.

The price of bitcoin is still very low now.

Typical seasonality. Buy up some cheap coins! Cheesy

That could be right. Most altcoins are dropping in the price. That is good time to accumulate some coins.

Definitely ASROCK H81 Pro BTC.

H97 Anniversary it crashes some times.

Both the H61 and the H81 are very good. But both are being discontinued. So if you cannot find them, you have to buy the H97.

Re: Ransomware and BTC

Remember that certain computers have valuable files, and that files can cost more than 1.5 BTC, probably OP is in that situation.
I heard reports that some people pays and is successful, but I believe it's a risk anyway.
As far as I know, they even give good support after paying. It's their core business to make sure everybody knows paying gets you back your files, if they don't deliver, their business model fails.
I've even read about competing cyber criminals, it's big business!

Just a friendly reminder to everybody: make sure you have backups, and make sure your backups are not just on a disk that is connected to the computer.

Are these ransomware makes caught in the past. If so, they might contribute a lot of money to the governments due to the seizure.
