I was super keen on this coin... But what an embarrassment to the whole crypto community. Who launches a coin and then plans to go missing for 10 days, then comes up with the excuse that they could not complete their homework because they had a bad internet connection? WTF! Not even a high school kid would get away with such a piss poor excuse!

Whilst you guys feebly attempt to get your act together, other peoples money is going down the toilet fast. Get your shit together!

When other peoples are invested in your business vehicle, and you announce 10 days to complete something. You have 10 days to get it done, just like the rest of the business world expects. So what now guys - we all just wait for a wallet that works and feeble delays? This whole crypto scene is turning into an unworkable mess, and this is just another example of FAIL!

Hello BTCS devs, I just thought I would mention something.. I am a supporter of this coin, and hold a pretty decent bag, but I think one of the reasons the coin is being overlooked is due to the fact that the thread is hosted on the alternative forum. I understand why this was necessary, but it has put the coin community in a backwater.

I used to visit the thread often to get the days updates, but due to the way the forum is organised, you cannot easily find out the latest info. It's all over the place. It is such a hassle that even I have given up trying to search it out. I just don't bother anymore, and this coin means something financially to me...

On this site the latest updates are just right there on 1 page. In a minute you know what is happening. I have seen other people posting here thinking the coin is dead. The other thread is doing you a bigger disservice than you realise.

Even though it would be a hassle, and you might have emotional reasons not to make the switch, I think you should move the thread here. It's where everybody hangs out, whether you get that or not. The coin is going down the gurgler guys. Hiding it in a difficult to use backwater ain't going to help it much!

OK guys there seems to be at least a few serious players here. Why don't we get together and get this sorted out. I have been looking very deeply into resurrecting another abandoned coin recently, but the same model applies to this coin if need be.

The first thing we need to do is get all significant bagholders to make them selves known, so we can judge how much weight we are swinging. We can rebrand and morph the coin into something new pretty easily. Existing shareholders get a proportionate share of the new coin. We then re-launch with a community agreed model, and inject both new innovation in the coding along with a targeted marketing campaign. As I have already pursued this with another coin, I know that this is not an insurmountable task. I have the ability to get the coins swapped via a major exchange so nobody gets jammed.

We need a multipool (which I have access to). The philosophy within the community should be, if you hold XLC, then you mine XLC. The small deficit you suffer due to the inefficiency of the multipool is more than offset by the gain in value that your entire bag enjoys.

Step 1 is to get a list of significant bagholders that are prepared to pull together.

Caretaker dev's, contact me by PM and maybe we can assess the situation. This is not so hard. A coin run in a businesslike manner is not that difficult, it is just rare these days.

Couldn't agree more, holders need to do some trading. When exchanges see a flat line on the chart it's delisting time. If all of us do a little trading regularly, it will show an interest level exists, even if the volume isn't huge. So come on XLC people, trade a few bucks each day...

Plenty of coins are making a decent comeback after a dodgy developer recently. I have been involved in reviving a coin that is doing just fine now.  What does everybody think?

I agree fully, lets take this coin over. Enough of this crap again and again.... Is anybody keen to step in and save this coin? It does have a couple of things going for it. If there is a community out there that wants to see this succeed, can you post so we can judge interest level?

I agree here guys. With such little volume, the last thing we need is Mintpal. It will just water down the volume even further. A case study of what has happened to other coins when they get listed on Mintpal without sufficient volume clearly demonstrates this. I have been all excited to see previous coins get listed, and then the price just plummets and volume dies. We need the hype first.

Bittrex moves huge volume when a coin has sufficient hype. We need to be marketing just how rare this coin is. How much does it cost to put a banner up on Coinmarketcap. We could advertise the rarity of this coin to all the key players this way, and may get a better outcome than buying votes as a community. Rarity is really all we have going for us, so I think it needs to be put front and central in our marketing attack. Maybe we could set up an XLC wallet with Coinmarket cap, and when there are enough coins donated, they run a banner advertisement?

Hey devs, this coin seriously needs some trading volume and price support. Is there any way to get a multipool set up, or is this too big of an undertaking. If we get delisted we are all up the spout!.. Hang in there....

If miners can just create multiple accounts with 1 miner, why even bother deleting the multiple workers? That's no more than a speed hump...

What point is there in limiting the hashrate to 50, but allowing multiple workers??? How is this going to stop the big farms? If this is one of the main features of the coin to have wide distribution - there's a gaping hole in the plan.. Clearly the total needs to be capped to have any effect, not hashrate per worker? And you would know this. Seems odd...

Hey all, maybe a rebranding would help, but we need to come up with something pretty good here. At least the Litecoin brand has a subconscious feel of stability and high value. The coin is not big on features, so to me the name is what brought me in, combined with the low total number of coins. Let's not be too quick to ditch the name yet.

What we really need here more than anything is to stay on Bittrex. As a previous poster mentioned, let's do some trading everyday, even if small quantities. Keep the chart bouncing. If we can stay on Bittrex long enough, sooner or later someone is going to come along and pump this coin. The low total distribution is too good to ignore.

Definitely needs a new logo though.
