I dont use one, only common sense. For years w/o infection. I only have adblock on my browser.
Open .pdf's online, and test new programs in sandbox or VM. No sense in paying for what you dont need.

by

This year has been a strong period for bitcoin bulls, as the price of the digital currency has climbed to levels not seen in more than two years.

Now, a technical trading pattern commonly used by equity analysts has emerged on the digital currency’s chart—and it suggests that prices are poised to shoot even higher.

Then and Now: Key Bitcoin Stats and Figures [INFOGRAPHIC] via Visual Capitalist

On the weekend, the Bitcoin ecosystem reached an extremely important milestone.

Taking place roughly every four years, the “halving event” officially occurred on July 9, cutting the reward for mining a block in half. In this case, the reward went from 25 BTC to 12.5 BTC.

Why is this such a cause for celebration?

It’s because halving is a planned part of the Bitcoin ecosystem to curtail new supply of the popular cryptocurrency. Eventually inflation is supposed to mimic the limited increase of new gold mined each year, rising just under 2% annually.

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss are another step closer to offering the first Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulated bitcoin investment product following a request for comment published Friday.

Last month, BATS proposed a rule change that would result in the listing and trading of the Winklevoss Bitcoin Shares issued by the Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust. Now, in response to that request, SEC assistant secretary Jill Peterson has opened the proposal for comment from the public.

[2016-7-11]Bitcoin Allows You to Buy 2016's Most Anticipated Game
by

on 11/07/2016, 18:30:23 UTC
No Man’s Sky – arguably 2016’s most anticipated game, or at least a contender for the distinction – is seeing its developers accept bitcoin as a payment method to purchase the game, due to launch in August.

Integrating bitcoin is a no brainer for digital distribution platforms which are waking up to the realization that anyone, anywhere in the world can buy games, music or movies with the cryptocurrency (Netflix is hinting at it too).

Re: More than 1,200 new planets that could hold life found

I personally think that while we may not find it anytime in the near future (or the moderately distant future), there is other life out there. To me, it makes sense, because the universe is huge, and it doesn't seem logical that there is only 1 small place in it where humans can exist..

It's exactly 2 years older than it was on this date two years ago.

Of course that is a ridiculous answer. There is no way to ever know EXACTLY how old the earth is.

There are only educated guesses based on observations and assumptions.

Re: Is science a religion?
by

I'd like to turn that one upside down if I may.

In Eastern cultures, a valid religion is considered as scientifically verifiable with regard the specific changes in the person... and especially with regard to the direct experience of having a better life. The second may not sound like science, but to the person who has undergone the change, it becomes the absolute truth.

I just want to say that you are only denying the existence of God. How can you came up with the idea of God. Since you know Him, He exists. Another is that maybe it is your personal experience that make yourself distance from God. Try to observe in your surroundings. Can't you see how beautiful His creation? Well I respect your view but I am not convinced with it.

Will he really build a wall?
I read it can be done, it would cost about 8 Billion and could be done in 4 years, the same amount of time he would be in office.
I think he will.

I think that in places like Texas where the trespassing is a common stuff, the people need a way to protect them self. But if you own a firearm you should keep it in a place where nobody can find it or reach it. In order not to happen many unwanted things

After claiming he’d filed formal complaints with the FBI, the man who alleged that Ethereum is his stolen intellectual property says he is making his first attempt to contact the media about the theft.

Although Vitalik Buterin is the identified brain behind the Ethereum project which has gained notoriety especially for its smart contract feature, Jared Mimms claims that Buterin stole his idea.

When blockchain use cases became a wondrous thought for developers keen on the technology, gaming may not have been highest on the list of ideas. However, the emerging technology — better understood as a decentralized or distributed ledger — sits at the core of the next evolution of digital trading card games (TCGs) and Switzerland-based mobile game developer, EverdreamSoft, is positioned at the forefront.

[2016-7-11]Bitcoin gambling offers games from the industry’s best developers
by
WhalingWhales
on 11/07/2016, 16:03:04 UTC
There is a lot of risk involved when gambling in general, and the same can be said about online betting. Players can lose money on bad bets and wrong plays, even more so with a bad choice of games. This is why players want to lower the risk as much as possible. Knowing the game provider for a Bitcoin casino can set a player’s mind at ease.

New players should keep an eye on the best Bitcoin game providers when choosing where to play. Not only will they be assured of decent to quality games, they can also expect fair play and variety in themes, gameplay, and special in-game features.

Re: If you want to buy BitcoinTalk, how much would you offer theymos ?
by

A flat million dollars for it... Would you like to have it @theymos? Grin But yeah, I'll have to first sell off my property for that. Tongue

BTW, as far as I can guess, he won't even accept the offer of 2 million dollars right now. He'd take even more than that.
I wish I could buy this forum but I dont think theymos would sell it.Anyway hypothetically speaking if I had to make an offer to theymos,I would offer him amount equal to 10 years of forum revenue

not bad
