any recent updates? Is there a developer actively working on the coin? I've been intermittently staking here and there and have held some coins since the beginning. Would love to see future developments.

I'm trying to download the wallet but the links on first post aren't working, and the link to the website is now what appears to be in Chinese about something other than crypto. Any official updated wallets available?

By the way, I PM'd richie again and tweeted to trex, rami and richie. I haven't heard anything from richie. Idk what the deal is yet.

Looks like OC is back up on bittrex now

Nice to see new wallet out and updates are resolving the sync problems that was going on. I have a problem now. Updated synced. All transaction history is their for me wallet however my balance is showing 0 and on block chain info showing my balance yet wallet on PC is not showing any balance of what I meant to have. Any ideas to resolve? have tried rescan and also re index no joy shows all transaction history in transactions yet no coin in wallet.

If you can't see any coins on your wallet , including your balance , please go to debug on your client and type repairwallet and enter.

That should fix all balance issues.

Warm Regards,
~SoopY~

This has not worked.

Details on wallet.

Any ideas on what is going on here??

Leave your wallet open, even let your wallet stake.

I had a problem of a few missing coins, so I left my wallet open and staking.

My problem resolved itself after a few hours.

I suggest you leave your wallet staking for a whole day.

Your coins are safe, because you saved your wallet.dat, your wallet still contains details of transactions.

I can confirm that this worked for me as well. After 2.0.1 re-synch from scratch, I was 25k coins short even after leaving wallet open overnight. Reapirwallet didn't help, but once I let it stake, it now matches the explorer.

My wallet is on 289781, still generating blocks, says fully synced and connected to 6 active connections. I'm using the nodes from chainz in my config, but I'm ahead of the explorer.

How do I check if I'm on the correct blockchain?

Is there a way to set aside part of your balance so that the bots will not use it for trading? I'd like to trial one with less btc than I had transferred.

thanks

I've switched over to the new wallet as well, dramatic improvement. Wallet is actually usable again, and thanks for adding staking together. When you have 12k+ staking transactions and each amount it so little, it takes many, many thousands of confirmations just to get enough weight to actually stake.

I know its been awhile since Pink.wars has been used/discussed, but I had a balance of PINK still on the site when it was taken down for maintenance and it's not letting me log in to withdraw them. The user name and password request options are not working either.

Any updates? How do I withdraw my coins at this point?

Thanks.

How many coins?

Like 100k or something. Nothing I couldn't lose, but would like to retrieve them.

We still have all balances and accounts, but the system has been locked up. If you want to provide me with a Pink address, or send me a message on Twitter I will get you your coins.

Thanks, just letting everyone know that coins were returned without an issue.

Re: [ANN][SEED] SeedCoin | New Road Map
by
Wheezy-
on 14/01/2015, 17:46:31 UTC
We have been running some scripts for awhile on Seed and our addresses. The 2 scripts were the elder tree and the rain cloud. The rain cloud has proven to work very well, and has made quite the difference in distribution and the coins price. The elder tree on the other hand is not very well thought out, and the people getting most of the stakes from it are the biggest holders whereas the rain cloud only rains on the small holders.

So we will be shutting the elder tree down and breaking that 300,000 Seed wallet into 10,000 Seed chunks. These chunks will be added to our new experiment which turns our Seedcoin into a staking multipool.

For the first month run of Beta testing, we will only be converting to Pinkcoin.

Here is a current address being rented:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/seed/address.dws?sKi2DmEPnYXnXLWtkNof9gNrc4yL7mmoc1.htm

Stakes are converted and being sent to this Pinkcoin address:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/pink/address.dws?PJYSKtZriNJSRU5TXKY4uaArAeHTwbJbPX.htm

Few questions about the rental wallets:

What is done with the rental BTC fee?
How is the rental price adjusted? I'm assuming based on current seedcoin price?

How does this create buy pressure for seedcoin? If the stakes are immediately being sold to fund pinkcoin purchases, wouldn't that lead to a constant sell pressure for seedcoin since the staking coins would likely otherwise be held by whichever wallet to which they would have previously been sent?

ATM, your staking wallet link has no outbound transactions, so how is that wallet funding the pinkcoins being sent to the pinkcoin wallet?

For each wallet you get ~133 coins/month converted to BTC, then into whichever coin you want, are these conversions done at market price? IMO, it seems overall more profitable to just straight out buy the coins you want with the rental fee than to rent a wallet.

Thanks,

OK, so my original belief was correct. I wonder where 20180 came from then? I'm pretty sure I staked at 269 percent after 20101.

Oh well, we're at 20177 so in three blocks it won't matter..

Only eleven blocks to go...

It's still block 20180 where growth ends, right?

According to the OP...

I'm pretty sure at one point cryptzo said it was a true 7 days (7x 1440) back when we were talking about what if people lose that last stake since 20100 would cut it short.

Looks like the #1 wallet will have about 735k coins, he has 2 stakes left.
Thats why people feel like its was wrong or rigged,
I put the same amount of investment in as the top player 10 seeds.
I got 15k he got 735k, see anything wrong here?
Yes i did change all the wallets along the messy way etc

I think the top wallet took advantage of a feature where if you don't stake for a while your weight accumulates and accumulates so when you do, then you get even more coin than the straight 1% or 269%. This wallet figured it out and kept it locked during the entire mining period where staking rewards were set at one percent a year. Then he unlocked his wallet right as growth period began and got a very large first stake, which of course led to the rest of the stakes being large.

I didn't know about this feature so I staked right through the initial 1% period and had much less weight going into growth. I'm guessing the same for you. But apparently it was right there and anyone who could spot it could benefit from it.

So... not fair? perhaps. But not rigged either, in the sense that taking advantage was open to anyone. Just not all of us had the brains to spot it. You better believe that next time I will Wink

What was more important was keeping your chunks in a couple big chunks rather than letting them get split a bunch of times... I regrouped my seed into 1 big chunk three times DURING growth

I only did that once during growth, but also once right before growth. I was too afraid of losing valuable time to do it anymore. I'm glad it worked out for you.

Do you suppose it would be just as advantageous to regularly regroup chunks during the next phase where staking gets you 16% a year? How often?

The maximum stake age is 7 days, so if you get such a small coin stack that it doesn't stake within that 7 days (then no longer accrues age and additional waiting time is wasted), then yes, it is worth it to re-combine. If it does stake, but say, only every 4 days instead of 1; then you would lose out on the compound nature by 3/4, but you would still get credit for the 4 days of coin age.

huge dump is coming.
they are buying at 100 satoshis on another exchange and selling 1300 on trex

Wow you figured that out on your own?  If you look back to before growth a whole lot of people (including myself) said there was bound to be an "epic dump" after growth.
I see you figured there was an epic dump after growth and that's good for you. You just proved you have a brain and you use it on your own.

The dump actually happened DURING growth.

the small guys "dumped" during growth.  Big question is when will the top ten (who have all the coins) dump (hopefully "sell")

from 0.2 BTC down to 0.000013 is dump by 99.994 %
I have no idea how much dump can go down.
There are a few buy orders though.

That's not really a "dump," that's market adjustment for overall coin supply.

You never know, a coin with this many PoS code problems may continue staking at 269% after block 20100  Grin Grin Grin

7 days x 1440 = 10080+10100 = 20180

+1000  !!! Agreed!! It had NOTHING to do with the developer, we ALL played by the same rules. DONT blame  the ref when you lose the game.

Played? I'm still playing my endgame strategy right now.

My guess is that you kept your wallet locked, and just unlocked it recently, but knew your accrued weight would allow you to jump to the front of the line.

There is no market cap as the coin at this moment cannot be valued with no working exchange. I read $175k just before Bittrex froze the wallet.

Its been fluctuating between 20-50k for most of the growth period. Occasionally getting down to 10k when its oversold.

175K is an over-estimation because the price was frozen, but the coins supply has increased markedly since then.

A new market cap will be driven once it re-opens and we see for what people are willing to sell.

Fayoling says he's holding, and I have a top 10 wallet and I plan on holding as well. I'm hoping cryptzo can deliver on some new projects, so we'll have to see.

Great to hear. I plan to hold mostly. At some point in the near future I want to pull out my initial investment but it doesn't have to be right now.

16% staking isn't all that bad either Smiley
I plan on holding as well. I should end up in the top 20 I believe, although it all depends on who gets stake in today and how much.

Yeah, I for sure will miss some of mine, unfortunately.

In order to get credit you have to have your stake totally confirmed by 20100 correct?

No, you get the stake at the time it's credited. You just can't use/move the coins until 120 confirmations.
