Thanks!

Re: Can Mt.Gox really verify my identity in 10 days?

When you get verified do they notify you?  I signed up for verification and the countdown went all the way to zero over the course of about a week but not the countdown is gone and my account doesn't really look any different.  I'm trying to get a Dwolla transfer to my MtGox account so I don't have to fool around with Bitinstant anymore which has really turned to shit recently.

Yes, they send you an email.

Hmm, well I didn't get an e-mail from them saying one way or the other.  But there is no notice of my being verified and I still can't fund my account via Dwolla so I'm not sure what's going on.

Re: Anyone used Instawallet?

Instawallet is fine for a short term quick-fix for instance if you're trying to anonymize your currency further by transferring it through multiple anonymous wallets.  I wouldn't keep anything in there long term though as the URL is the wallet and if you would lose that you're screwed.

I've got a couple posts, I know what BTC are I've been using them for months and am now thinking about getting into Mining.  I've been lurking on these forums for a couple weeks but now I'd love to be able to participate in the discussion on these forums if at all possible.

Thank you.

Right now I can't even begin a Dwolla to MtGox transfer.  I keep getting a error500 screen with no explanation of what is happening.  Is the site experiencing technical difficulties?

Dwolla is down for repairs.

I hope to finally fix the verification issues.  Every time I make a Dwolla transfer I have to write to CS to get a manual transfer because the automatic process stalls out on the verification.

My opinion; once BTC plateaus for more than a week or so it will end up dropping when investors think the value has stalled and they will get anxious to cash in before the drop happens.

Hello, I'm Whik.

Been playing around with BTC for a while now.  Mostly just buying it up and saving it.  Thinking about maybe getting into mining at some point especially with the value climbing as steeply as it is.

Good stuff here.  I'm realizing more and more that I'm not nearly secure enough with my BTC stash.

I cant help but think there will be a new and better crypto currency before that point. One that will be officially released.

Officially?

I think what he means is one controlled by the government.  Which even if it did happen will still not be used as much as Bitcoin.

This is an understandable precaution.  Most forums have some kind of restriction similar to this.
