Re: [GPUC] GPU Coin | GPU on-line sales OPEN | Marketplace is live
by
WhiteyZ

Im not sure exactly why the price has gone down, GPU's are selling on the store really nicely!

Because premine is being dumped? duh

Hey BuddyNoobo - No the premine isnt being dumped.. why dont you take a look at the market orders DUH... they are for a few thousand here and there... to put it into basic math for you,, 70 btc went into the IPO (premine), and there hasnt ever been a period of time where the buy book has been above 5 btc.. so even if us "IPO premine folks" wanted to dump, we cant... Its a volume issue presently, along with a price... We believe in the coin and are holding, or picking up cards...

Who really are dumping, are the nvidia and other low volume miners, who thought they could get an easy payday or a 280x for only a few thousand gpu, and are dumping those orders pushing down the market price.... Duh.........

Give us the premined addresses and we clear this thing right now!!! You told us that the IPO investors payed 22 satoshi per coin!!!
We want proof of that!!! At least people who cares for their investment should care since your "IPO investors don't obliviously"
Blaming the little miner?? LOL
Please are you serious??? Little miners as you say are begging to price go up since they don't get any ROI from their crap hashpower!!!

A dump is posting your coins at market and letting it drop to fill the order. Posting orders at your set price is not dumping. I for one, as an IPO participant, have posted my order to sell at a number I am happy with. If it goes higher I don't care because I have made my return and can move on. But, I will not be dumb and simply watch it go to the moon without pulling my order. It's called "being long" and setting your exit. As far as proving the value of the IPO - that's simple math dude and you can pull out your own calculator before you go off. If you don't like the return or believe in the model.... move on. There is nothing to see here for you.

Sure you made your ROI while this coin was at the hype before the release of the store!!! You were smart and probably had a gain of 100% if you sold at the peak of 45 satoshi!!! So maybe almost every IPO investors did the same like a nice tuned worked orchestra!!! But the ones that were dumb enough to invest while it was on the hype are suffering since for you to cash in and the suckers must suck in on their thumbs!!!
And after all of you are happy, the premine is being dumped like a sack of rotten potatoes!!! Premine addresses is all I ask!
SO don't give us the tale of the miner is dumping to profit because that is a old tale for the newbies!!!

not sure about your reading comprehension there champ but you might want to take a breath and relax and take another pass at what  I wrote. For further clarity, I for one hold the vast majority of my IPO coins and will either buy GPUs or sell on the market as I see fit according to my required profit. I am certainly not DUMPING my shit. Know the difference between DUMPING and trading.

And if you wanna know which are the ipo adresses, take a look at the FIRST Block in the Block explorer and go hunt the adresses... It isnt much work...

HD 5850 OC und Temperatur
by
WhiteyZ
on 14/03/2014, 10:24:54 UTC
Tach zusammen,

GPU0 (77°C-78°C):
Coreclock = 775
MemClock = 1000
Voltage = 1,088 (Werkseinstellung, als Anfänger will ich da nichts anpassen...)
KHash/s ~ 328

GPU1 (72°C-73°C):
Coreclock = 800
MemClock = 1000
Voltage = 1,088 (Werkseinstellung, als Anfänger will ich da nichts anpassen...)
KHash/s ~ 338

Maybe somebody opens a new exchange, where you can buy GPUC with FIAT? It would be great for CEO, cause than he hasnt the step to exchange in BTC, than in FIAT... The exchange could be very successfull, if the Online-Store is an success....

It seems like you want to build a JesusCoin, right?  Grin

Think about the premine... 50% is lot to much. No one will mine your coin. You will get nothing for it!

It seems that i received my IPO money too. The price on the current exchanges are pretty crappy, right? Whats wrong with those sellers? The coin is much more valueable! I believe in this coin, so I will hold my GPUC`s for a longre time...

i did the math wrong
first pool was allpoolz and now im on xhash
allpoolz dropped 10 workers from 25 right after i left. find it weird that even with their lower hash power vs xhash that we didn't find anything at all for a payout.
guess the key for -n is stick with the largest pool you can find.

You cant count the problem of some pools to the GPUCoin. Its only the pools problem, not the coin.

this is by far the most unrewarding coin i've ever mined.
since the 2600 block i've only got 140 unconfirmed coins.

the failed launches, people having payout issues, the switch to -n after taking ipo money, no refund for the ipo, IPO coins haven't been paid..
completely frustrated with gpucoin!

The payout issues is dedicated to some pools, not the coin. The IPO-Investors HAD the chance to refund their money in BTC, but only a few took the chance. What is your problem? You can change to any coin you want, if you dislike GPU-Coin...

The failed launches is past, the Launch yesterday was smooth and good...

Your only frustratet because you got a (small) bad GPU to mine i think...
Agreed.  Yesterday's launch was uber smooth.  Best launch I've been a part of.  I've mined over 4000 GPUC with another 1000GPUC unconfirmed.

I'm very excited about this coin.  I hope the store will sell the new 290x Lightning cards when they are available.

Hahaha, uber smooth? Are you from USA? Im a german guy and heard that in america the german word "Über" is used for cool things... Did you mean über with uber smooth?

i asked for a refund if we were sticking to -n, no reply or btc sent back. figured w/e i'll just roll with the next launch and worst case i'll find a buyer for them or if it goes well i'll get a gpu for my hard work.
in a smaller pool with around 20gh we didn't find a single block.. and still haven't
on the second pool i'm in, they have over 150gh and thats where i finally just got 140 coins.

i'm mostly frustrated because nothing has met my expectations. feels like a lot of stress, blood, sweat and tears.
maybe after i've had some sleep.. a fist full of xanax from dealing with this coin, i'll be better.. but for now, i'm just wanting to see this pay off.
think maybe another factor is that this coin is on an exchange going for what looks like less than some total crap coins that should have just died off.

i need a pep talk or an official gpucoin girl to give me a lapdance at this point (no fatties)

uhh, that sounds strange... The whole Network Hashrate is < 4 Gh... Maybe your pools are mining an other coin?
