very strong against the market today. you see any reason?

This could have something to do with it... sadly.

Also I think XMR could be just correcting a little since it has been hit hard recently.

Nothing to do with that as that story is fake made up news, ah la MSM fantasy

Good evening WO!

Observing BTC@9,633.

Observing an article about Libra  on the flight magazine.
I took a pic of it with compulsory WO sign (didn’t want to vandalise the paper as I am a civilised person):

Not bad for a totally casual article: it even stated there’s nothing in common with bitcoin as it is a permissioned blockchain!

"WO sign" AKA  911 sign, 666 sign, white supremacist sign
has a variety of uses

I don't think the pain is over yet. This [Bitcoin dominance] chart has a decent likelihood of being accurate:

Will be interesting to see what happens to decentralized cryptocurrencies vs. centralized cryptocurrencies in the near future.  I could see a situation coming up where governments will try to force companies like Coinbase and the like to exchange only centralized "legitimate" cryptocurrencies.

Edit: when I'm talking about centralized cryptocurrencies, I'm thinking of projects that are trying to jump through every single legalization loop hole nations through at it; i.e. Libra, Cardano, etc.

If I remember correctly , Coinbase the " legitimacy" of asset already has been of a huge importance . They are scared of regulation laws which can potentially impact them.

Dont even mention Libra, it a disgrace to block chain technology and crypto currency  name.

Can you remember or supply a link to the "regulation laws which can potentially impact them"?

Good post.

It seems this time it will be all about institutional money, and institutional money only wants bitcoin, maybe ETH, and a few others. Monero? Might be too shady.

With Info on this one. Pseudonymity is a pill regulated markets will swallow. True anonymity, in contrast, will be spat up.

Capitulation?

XMR is designed as a bot net coin ~ asics compatibility would ruin this aspect  Cool you new here? lol

Edit : but good news for Botnets

It is good news for your health. XMR is designed to save your life as a financier of bullet stopping drones.  https://cryptoslate.com/bullet-stopping-drones-contribute-monero-network/

Monero is one of the coins that is definitely not a security. As for it's privacy features:

Over the past 24h Bitcoin went up about 1% , but everything else with 'Bitcoin' in the name has been pumping hard:

Bitcoin Cash: 6%
Bitcoin SV: 56%
Bitcoin Gold: 22%
Bitcoin Diamond: 53%
Lightning Bitcoin: 12%

In the meantime, Monero only went up 3%. What do all these 'Bitcoin something's offer that Bitcoin + Monero do not? How can the market be so out of touch with reality?

They offer a quick pump with the incoming dump, do you want to be the bag holder when the curtain comes down?

Not one of them has any other reason for existence except as a P&D scam.

The reality of the market is there are more scammers (speculators) than people who actually want to change the world. There are those that see crypto as a vehicle of change and are those that are just trying to use that vision to game the old system and profit. Shortsighted people are in the majority and that is why the human race is in a fucking race with extinction. Let them have their short term gains, they are too stupid to know what they are doing anyway and think winning is a lambo.

amen. The fact that monero is still making progress give me hope in humanity.  The fact that monero was salvaged from a scam attempt is.... ironic. The fact that bitcoin is plodding towards a dystopian surveillance state with willfully blind participants is... disturbing. Monero *needs* to survive and thrive.

and I speculate bananas.

The "willfully blind participants" that are starting to open their eyes is trending up, monero will grow with them, long term looking good

Too bad everyone has lost their Monero in boating accidents.  Undecided

Anyway, anybody have some long-ish term moonshot predictions? Let's say BTC hits $120K in May 2022. What price is XMR at?

I ran across this Satis report again, and it got me thinking:

Monero is on the verge of losing its crown as the number one privacy coin. Dash has somehow found its way back to the top and Monero needs to up it's game. Even if it's in the unconventional markets, XMR needs be used as a currency

Keep poppin' those pills bro, Verge, Xcoin, darkcoin and Dash are a speck on the horizon in the rear view mirror

As it is speculation thread - what do you think will happen to Monero XMR and its price when Monero as anonymous cryptocurrency will be banned by government (which is quite possible at least in European Union - in the light of the new  European Commission  AML directive..)

I'm betting Monero will outlive the "European Commission"

I will believe in the Flat Eart theory if you can justify the earth angle in that theory. Let me explain.

Earth has a 23.5° Inclination, and that's how we explain the 24h night in South pole and 24h day in North pole.

So, in the Flat Earth theory what's the angle? Our planet has an inclination?

"Earth has a 23.5° Inclination, and that's how we explain the 24h night in South pole and 24h day in North pole"

That is also the explanation for winter and summer, yet earth has a difference of 5 million miles away from the sun per annum, how do you explain this?

The Earth is a stationary plain and the Sun is a small, optically projected object off of a mirrored dome that moves in an circular path above us. It's about 32 miles wide with an altitude of about 3,000 miles according to direct measurement with a sextant. As the Sun does its 24 hour daily cycle, throughout the year it moves closer to the central point at the north pole, then back again. This yearly cycle back and forth creates the various seasons and the changing length of day and night.

"... Bible scholars and notable believers also accept evolution ..."

No, no they don't the Bible says man was created. If you're contradicting the Bible then you are by definition an inept biblical scholar and not a believer. Dinosaurs are a hoax, fossils form rapidly like concrete and giants once roamed a young Earth.

"It's about 32 miles wide with an altitude of about 3,000 miles according to direct measurement with a sextant"

Have you confirmed this yourself? Or is it hear say?

The Bible is a Flat Earth book from from Genesis to Revelation.

The Defeat of Satan

"And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." -- Revelation 20:7-10 ESV

But, the Bible is also a Globe Earth book from Genesis to Revelation. Why? Because the deception talked about in the above passage has to do with believing in God and Jesus salvation, AND being on God's side, in favor of Him rather than against Him. It doesn't have anything to do with the shape of the earth.

Cool

BADecker, notbatman is right on this point.  The Bible clearly describes the FE model, in many verses, not just one.  Not sure why you are fighting this.  All Christians, for centuries, believed that Earth is flat and in the center of the universe until Copernicus and Galileo showed them that it is not the case.

It is funny to see how your delusion overlaps with his and two of you keep arguing about your delusions.

Earth is a globe, Earth is 4.5 billion years old, we are primates belonging to the Ape Family, Earth spins on its axis, rotates around the Sun, our solar system spirals around the black hole in the middle of our galaxy.  Those are the facts.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4V-ooITrws

"When Earth is closest to the Sun in its orbit, it is at "perihelion." That distance is 147,166,462 kilometers, and Earth gets there each January 3. Then, on July 4 of each year, Earth is as far from the Sun as it ever gets, at a distance of 152,171,522 kilometers. That point is called "aphelion." Every world (including comets and asteroids) in the solar system that primarily orbits the Sun has a perihelion point and an aphelion."

There is a difference of 5,000,000 kilometers between the closest the earth is to the sun and the furthest from the sun, yet "a slight tilt" gives us summer and winter?

How do you explain that silly apeman fool?
