Great news. But remember that tomorrow trading will influence the future of NEM. Don't try to make fast money, don't dump. I agree with 100-150K Nxt price. At this point of development it's not too low and surely not too high. But if everybody dumps at any price just to get some money it won't be good for anyone.

Hold, people Smiley
I agree with 100-150K Nxt price.
The price is very cheap, if calculated in accordance with the valuation should reach 300k.
Shocked Shocked  300k

Maybe now is not this price,  15K better i think.

Hope you meant 150K...

Well I only plan on selling half my stake at most, and only if the price stays pretty high.  This is a 2nd Gen coin we're talking about, which I think gives it way more of a future than 98% of these altcoins (shitcoins).

NXT has a lot of innovative stuff coming out....yet the price just drops like a stone....right or wrong the inital IPO is killing NXT

Lol! You people crack me up.  Have you guys noticed that there are a few more coins besides Nxt that are going down in price.... Peercoin, Ripple, Dogecoin, Mastercoin... Litecoin.... Bitcoin.  Seriously people.  The initial IPO doesn't MATTER and has nothing to do with the price drop!  It could have started with 3 stakeholders or 5000 stakeholders and the end results would be the same.  If people want Nxt to be mass adopted (that is used by millions if not hundreds of millions of people), than could someone please explain the difference between an IPO of 5 people vs 73 people vs 10,000 people?  It's purely psychological/emotional.  All I read about involving Nxt (and others) on these forums is "fair distribution" this, "unfair distribution" that.... You people are killing me.  'Unfair' is just a made up word that people can apply to any situation that they feel at a disadvantage.  Uhh... Not to mention, I believe Nxt has already achieved a better distribution than bitcoin.

And jubalix, although I disagree with you on why the price is going down, I'm not saying you believe all this (don't know if you do or not).  I just can't stand all the people that complain about the initial distribution without looking at the facts or thinking anything through.

NXT is good marketing with nothing under the hood.

Well, you've just proven that you haven't done any research at all into Nxt.  You got it completely backwards.  Nxt has BAD marketing with great technology under the hood.

Hashrate.org is going to be very profitable for 'mining' NXT.  And I can tell you the PoW probably isn't going to last long in general, so you should probably be 'mining' coins like Nxt that are PoS and going to have future success because of all the features.  The Asset Exchange will launch in about 18 days or so, and that's just the beginning.

So will all those things you describe require me to send NXT? Because eventually I'll lose my entire stash sending NXT back and forth.

Dude, really?  Yeah, you might lose your entire stash if all you bothered to get was 50 nxt.  Are you a teenager?  Nxt is currently under 3 cents, and like you mentioned earlier, the fee is being lowered soon.  The only reason it wasn't done sooner is because it's been a technical challenge adding decimal places because, like I said, it was written from scratch, unlike Blackcoin.

BlackCoin, because NXT was a good idea ruined by the worst distribution in the history of crypto.

It's current distribution is better than Bitcoin's, and it gets better every day.  It has an indirect mining pool as well at hashrate.org

I wonder where indirect mining came from. Surely not the useless BlackCoin? Tongue

I don't know who came up with the idea of indirect mining first.  I know the nxt community had the idea like a month or so ago.  But maybe blackcoin did orginate it.... but so what?  Any of these PoS coins could start an indirect mining pool.  Tell me about the REAL innovations blackcoin will feature... Will it have a decentralized asset exchange?  Automated Transtactions?  Multigateways?  Games being built using the blockchain?.... Or is Blackcoin just another pumped up hype like all these others?  I suspect the latter.

Your transaction fee is also 1 NXT which is changing to 0.1 NXT soon. That's great, but I'm never going to use NXT to trade because of that. So NXT can be the next PoS Peercoin, Blackcoin will be the next PoS BTC or PoS LTC.

Your never going to use NXT to trade because of what now?

NXT the next Peercoin and BC the next BTC??? LOL.  No, you got that completely backwards.  Blackcoin is the clone of Peercoin (actually, it's a clone of Novacoin I believe, which is a fork of Peercoin).  NXT is the one written from scratch in Java.  You noobs seriously need to start researching a little better before investing in these shitcoins, instead of just following the hype.

Blackcoin, people? Really???  Could someone please care to explain to me what is so special about blackcoin, other than the logo and it's the latest pump.  I mean come on, NXT has or is going to have:

Decentralized Asset Exchange
Alias system
Arbitrary messaging
A Digital Goods store
Multigateway
A Turing-complete complete scripting layer (Automated Transactions) that will allow for things like DACs/trustless escrow
Indirect mining
Coins being built on top of Nxt
And even games being developed right now that will use either a Nxt asset or NXT as an in-game currency.

Again, tell me what's so special about Blackcoin, please?

+1000000 it's funny that many people prefer useless clones, but sooner or later NXT will be on top without doubt

I am interested in the Nxt algorithm, but, Seriously, all you Nxt fanboys do you not realize your founder and guiding light BCNext has abandoned you.  Look in the Nxt wiki: http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/BCNext%27s_Plan
Part Three, first two sentences of next to last paragraph, "BCNext has departed permanently. He doesn't feel responsible for the future of Nxt."
and last two sentences of last paragraph, "You are left on your own. Good luck."

You are all in a bus going down the highway and your driver just jumped out!

That's like saying BTC is a bus going down the highway without a driver because Satoshi isn't on board anymore...  Jean-Luc has been the lead core developer now for months, and things are going along nicely.  Not to mention the numerous other developers working on all the above mentioned.

IMO Nxt is the only 'coin' worth investing money (not talking about IPOs) in at the moment.

I don't think most people know what they're talking about regarding inflaton/deflation. You don't actually need inflation at all. What's exactly is wrong with falling prices?

i'm interesting with NEM
many ppl in this thread say it
How and where can I buy some NEM?

NEM will be released probably somewhere around june/july. Just keep a look on the main thread! Smiley
why must wait until june/july for release?

Because I believe a lot of it is being written from scratch.

I am continually astounded by the number of people in the crypto community who despise freedom of choice.

You obviously did not read any of the posts that compare IPO for coin scams as being virtually the same thing as "The Creature From Jekyll Island".  Issuing currency for profit by a cartel, it's what Bitcoin was designed to defeat.  Why let people rehash the same system on a Bitcoin site that Bitcoin is directly opposed to?  Makes 0 sense.

WTF are you talking about? How is an IPO in any way comparable to a central bank? No one is forcing you to invest in an IPO. Central banks force you to use currencies of their choosing via government. It's not this site or anyone else's fault if you're a moron and invest in the wrong thing and lose money.

NEM coin is my favorite.

With biggest IPO in history of all cryptos....

Nem will be BTC's brother.

And maybe ripple....protocol

NXT
NEM
MAYBE ripple and maybe ethereum. I hope bitcoin continues to do well (at least for the near term), obviously.
Most of the rest I really don't see offering anything really that innovative. I think dogecoin is funny and I don't mind it sticking around just to bring new people into cryptos that otherwise wouldn't have checked them out. Don't really like these country coins like AUR, so I don't care if they crash and burn.
