Re: Inflation is making a mess of my savings.
by
Willitivity
on 22/07/2023, 21:54:13 UTC
Post-Covid really brought with a lot of things, inflation being one of the most critical. Inflation has hit the world hard, every country is experiencing significant rising cost in basic things. The fact that there's too little money to cover for ones needs makes it sickening. In addition to this, the cost of items keep going up on daily basis with no hope of coming down.

To cushion the effects of this situation, one needs to take strategic actions. If you live in a third world country with weaker currency against the dollar, best best is to hold more of your fiat in the stronger currency. Only exchange funds to meet day-to-day expenses. As much as possible, cut down on unnecessary expenses.

Inflation can never go away, it will always be here. Best thing is to make certain lifestyle adjustments to not be blown away by it.

Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin
by
Willitivity
on 20/07/2023, 13:08:45 UTC
I have been thinking about trading in Bitcoin for quite some time now. I have been involved with Bitcoin for a long time but am still thinking about investing here. I used to run DPS in bank for 30 dollars per month for 5 years, this DPS will complete 5 years this month. I'll get roughly $1800, I don't think it's much of a savings to keep that money in the bank. Bangladesh is suffering from severe dollar crisis due to which many banks are likely to go bankrupt. The names of those banks have not yet been published by any mass media. Because of the economic condition of Bangladesh, I want to invest my money in Bitcoin. I still don't understand if my decision is right, please let me know your opinion

Good decision to invest into Bitcoin, or let's say cryptocurrency in general. As everyone has already rightly suggested, don't put the whole $1800 into crypto. Keep portion free to use to meet other life needs. Also, the amount you're investing shouldn't be only on Bitcoin, diversify your investment, if you have a broader knowledge, You can also put some in stocks and metals.
From my own pov, given the market conditions now, I think you're better off with regular trading, long term right now is uncertain. In all you do, stay smart and make good moves.

Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk.

Boys. It is time to quit gamble. I created a topic about taking gambling as a major income or not and fought a lot of kind people who held an opposite point. I own them a truly apology. I am sorry. No matter who you are, gambling is only for fun. Never take it as income at anytime. If you are still gambling, you should quit now. If you cannot quit by yourself, there are so many channels to help you. Even you can talk to me. I will do my best to help you.

Just some chemical reaction happened in my mind today, I get the point at that moment. Gambling for income is totally wrong and toxic for spirit and body. You will never be successful in that way. But I like gamble is still the fact and it will never change if doing nothing. So, why not open a stream and show it to all people who have interest on that. Let me prove how hard or easy to quit gamble. I will only gamble the affordable fund only. Maybe less. I am streaming 24/7. If some software problems disrupt, I will fix that except sleeping time.

Quit gambling now!

If you decide to quit gamble or take gamble as entertainment only, welcome to join me.

I hate gamble!

Update 1
Boys. You can't imagine how relax I am when decide to quit gamble. Here is the way. I will stream all my gambling behavior with recording. No stream No gamble. If you are going through the same situation, join me. You will obtain a new life.

You're quite within your right to tender Your views on gambling, but outrightly calling it bad and telling everyone to quit it is kinda far reaching. I Know a couple of persons that have built a fortune through gambling and also those who became wretched through same gambling. The best approach is for everyone to know what works for them and also moderation is key.
Gambling is quite addictive because of the dopamine rush it creates. But that doesn't make it bad in itself, it's basically how people are irresponsible with gambling that's the bad part.

Re: Landed properties is the best investment
by
Willitivity
on 15/07/2023, 18:24:24 UTC
Half of the rich people keep continue to swim in fame and wealth because of their occupied landed properties. If you own a land, housing estate you can be sure living great but this wealth are mostly control by political leaders and BD individuals......if you're blessed enough begins to occupy property's that can sure your next generation... In my country Nigeria if you don't have any of this properties forget yourself, you will end up making life mortgage and tenancy. Land never depreciates it keeps buying higher that's why I considered it the best investment. What do you think?

I quite very much agree to this take. When I started crypto earlier, I saw it as the only reasonable investment one can and should do. But along the line, I realized I was wrong. Investing in landed properties can never be outdated no matter how much the digital World grows. Sometime last year, people struggled to but lands in the metaverse, today those investments are Worth nothing, some are almost not even existing again.

Re: Hodling Bitcoin
by
Willitivity
on 13/07/2023, 11:20:11 UTC
Bitcoin hodling is something almost everyone on this forum is eager to partake in or already partaking in.
However I did some research and discovered most forum members do a lot of Bitcoin transaction, and sometimes leaves them with little or no hodlings in their wallets. Of course Some on the other hand have most of their Bitcoins as hodlings in their wallets  although they still transact with Bitcoins . Holding Bitcoin is a choice however for those that have Bitcoin holdings how do you manage to minimize Bitcoin transactions to increase your hodlings.

Though hodling Bitcoins can be tempting to transact with sometimes

Personally, I believe people most of the time, have Bitcoin for holding and also a few stash for transactions. The thing there is that moving Bitcoin round all the time from your holding wallet is really not a wise choice for me, especially when the holding wallet is a cold wallet. Best bet is to hold some in exchanges or dex wallets for day-to-day spending, then long term holds should be kept safe in a cold wallet.

Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste
by

on 19/06/2023, 22:32:15 UTC
Money is good, but knowledge is better. Both works well to compliment each other to a certain extent. Having the knowledge and not the money to invest in what you know leads to the what is called 'Knowledgeable broke person'. Aside from Bitcoin, in the general scheme of life, it's like learning a trade or handiwork but not having the money to set it up for yourself. You could do freelancing, raise some capital and set yourself up.
In all, money is very necessary to make the knowledge come to fruition.

Really Impressed reading through this thread. This is a very interesting and nice endeavour you have really going on there, would also want to do something like this in my local community. So many young minds are really tech savvy and should be nurtured at the very young age and introduced to things like Blockchain and it's benefits. If they start learning at this young age, it will grow their interest in technology and other similar things. Kudos on the good job.

Re: Far from possible but let's just say
by

on 27/06/2021, 23:47:07 UTC
Bitcoin to $1 has a very very very slim chances of ever happening but that would happen if about 99.7% if not 100% of people that have already invested in bitcoin to take out their investments all at the same time cause the biggest panic sales in history but the chances of that happening is very slim. Even the great crash in 2020 by covid-19 scares and lockdown Could not take bitcoin below 3000 dollars. Bitcoin has grown too much for such a fall to be accommodated. Plus there are plenty of prominent personnels and company that are deeply invested in bitcoin. Too much to see it go down to near zero.

Re: Youtube channels and influencers are currupt like the Mexican police

on 27/06/2021, 23:28:13 UTC
I pity people who take these YouTube influencers very seriously. They are always out for any opportunity that would benefit them and don't care about their subscribers and fans. They can just buy altcoins and then shill it as the top altcoins for their fans to buy hence pumping their bags. Most of them don't even know what they're doing most of the time and just keep reading the website content of projects they review and serve that as a review. It's not 2017 and the ico era. anyone who takes them seriously shouldn't do so again.

Re: My opinion on Ethereum 2.0
by
Willitivity
on 27/06/2021, 23:17:00 UTC
If anyone is interested in staking their eth to validate blocks, they can delegate their stakes to staking pools and still get a share in the rewards that the staking pool would get. There are several pools for eth 2.0 launchpad staking already and there would be even more pools that would cater for the average investor. Pos is one of the best things that would happen to ethereum. If it launches successfully it would go far to ensure that tx fees and low too. Now it's just too centralized and only the big boys are allowed to own and participate in mining farms.

Re: why meme coin is crashing
by

on 27/06/2021, 10:40:50 UTC

why

does Dogecoin price up again ? Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

honestly , I am sacred to buy any meme coin ,such as SHIB ,Doge  Cry

in case to jump to another falling  Cry

hunting to newBTC MEME coin is more interesting👍 for joining the BTCairdrops

👍👍 my latest airdrop joined on Inspector is the new meme-Tadpole(TADP)

https://twitter.com/tadpolememe/status/1402554891424342017 Cheesy

I don't think Dogecoin is pumping rather its just trying to recover, every single coin in the market has dumped massively some even almost 90% from their highs, as for the case of meme coins they have no reason to recover since they have nothing good to offer rather they are just fun coins which are been bought by lousy investors who want to get rich quick through tweets from Elon Musk, lastly I wouldn't trust airdrops from airdrop inspectors have heard of them and tried so many of their airdrops and none of them was worth the effort I put into completing the tasks.

Re: Do you think Alpaca Finance is safe?
by

They provide leveraged yield farming with huge APY, but is it safe, or the risk to have your position liquidated is high?
There are alot of DeFi project offering the exact something, maybe just lesser APY than theirs, but we have to be very careful there isn't any risk free investment in the crypto space, every investment here comes with a certain amount of risk, DeFi projects are prone to hacks and sometimes the owner rugpulls and make away with investors money, you have be careful when chasing high APY's on DeFi platforms, not all of them are well secured or have rugpull proof.

Re: Still thinks that crypto is manipulation free?
by

on 27/06/2021, 09:11:06 UTC
As it stands the crypto market isn't free from price manipulation, since people take meme tweets from high profiled persons like Elon Musk as a buy signal, same thing with fud tweets from him so many people act blindly and allow those tweets determine whether they should buy or sell a coin, in 2017 the market was controlled by large whale who pump and dump when they feel like, but nowadays mere tweets can cause price manipulation.

Re: Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum?
by
Willitivity
on 26/06/2021, 12:34:07 UTC
The community named it to be a much better version of ETH.
ADA is slowly building its momentum to be the best digital cash available summing up the scalability, high security, low transaction fees, interoperability and especially considering the backlash of ETH with current gas fees.
Also the creator strongly believes that cryptocurrency absolutely have to communicate one with another and most likely this will happen in the next 3-5 years and there are rumors of Cardano/Litecoin connection bridge.

Can we see a market cap bigger than Ehereums? At the actual price rates this means it should be around $12 per ADA.
Will it happen?
Cardano has done well so far and no doubt it's an outstanding coin with lots of potentials, I know it solves alot of problems Ethereum blockchain is currently facing now, but I don't think it will still be able to march ethereum's marketcap any time soon, Ethereum's marketcap is the second biggest marketcap in the crypto space, I think cardano needs to beat Binance Smart Chain (BSC) first before they start thinking reaching ethereum's marketcap.

is there any other cryptocurrency that can be rise n future ? if yes then proper details which one is ?
Of course there are so many cryptocurrencies that are going to pump hard immediately bitcoin becomes bullish again, my personal pick would be among the top 50 cryptocurrencies, alot of them have dumped really hard since the bitcoin dumped from $64,000,now would be a good time to buy them for about 60% discount from the top, I would suggest you buy matic, eth, link, and dot, although before buying, so well to DYOR, don't just buy because i said you should buy.

Big news Bitcoin and congratulations for El Salvador citizens for another milestone achieved by their president and governing bodies. It was enough that they made bitcoin a legal tender. It's even more interesting that once they airdrop those Bitcoins, it would open the door to more users of bitcoin and more merchants would start accepting it in their stores now that people would now have bitcoin in their wallets. This is a very good move. I hope that mo

Re: Bitcoin price prediction?
by

on 25/06/2021, 23:50:02 UTC
I've been searching for some form of price prediction platform (Paid or Free) for Bitcoin which is able to give some sort of indicators based on news whether the bitcoin price will potentially fall/rise? Is that a thing? if so, have any of you used it or have success with it?

I have not seen anything like that and even the ones that offer something similar to what you want, their tips are not successful most of the times. These can of stuffs are best though by you because the best way to get things done is to do it by yourself. Instead of patronizing a paid service, I would prefer you invest the time and pay yourself to learn the skill of predicting bitcoin and entire crypto currency markets.
