Serious question: how would the US financially survive a multi year pandemic in a bitcoin world? Remove the cynicism about government and pretend they actually want and NEED to print 10% more USD and distribute it to destitute individuals, in this hopeful future, are those people left to die?

I said, "What's this? How does it work? Is this real?"
Then I read the Bitcoin white paper... then I re-read it, then I carefully studied it, then I said, "OMG! This is IT!"

You will become a key part of technological innovation. The basic technology of blockchain is not only the backbone of the cryptocurrency world, it will perform far more than any of us imagined in the future. From supply chain management and accounting to higher quality assurance, a more transparent production line and a fairer voting system, Blockchain has the potential to change the way our world operates. By investing in cryptocurrency, you are helping to support the continued development of this innovative and transformational technology that will benefit future generations.

Re: The Death Cross is a Good Thing!!!
by
Wilmoret
on 22/06/2021, 06:14:27 UTC
I believe the main point here is that the Cross uses 2 different EMA and moving averages are lagging indicators. Sometimes they shows the movement that’s already happening and sometimes they shows the movement after it’s already over. Since we’ve been so freaking high in every indicator for long, this cross is actually kinda “meh”. After weeks on 50k+ range a major drop would surely generate the “ominous” cross.
People gotta ask:
Was it useful to predict the dump?
Was it useful for entry/exit point?
Now that we have it, can we be sure of anything?
All it did was to say: “we’re f***ed for now”.
Thank you Captain Obvious, I though the -50% was just a persistent bug…
Sincerely, if someone needs an indicator to show you that shite went down the drain instead of just looking at the graphs, a lot of study is necessary. And yes, we have a great chance to go up, and a lot of new weak hands a feeding the FUD troll. Just take a look at OnChain Analysis and it’s easy to see that whales are buying.
If you panic sell, crypto, or any other volatile asset, is not for you. Go put your money on savings account or similar. People panic selling are the ones to judge when others buy the bottom and suffer with butthurt when it peaks…

Re: When federal digital currencies become a reality, how will that affect bitcoin?
by

It's an oxymoron. You can't have a centralized decentralized currency.
Either it's centralized and they continue their financial abuse, in which case Bitcoin will win, or else they decentralize it, which would end their abuse. Either way it's a win for cryptocurrency.

China Bitcoin mining ending are awesome news
by
Wilmoret
on 21/06/2021, 07:22:43 UTC
Moneybadger don't give a fuck.
These are fantastic news for Bitcoin:
Bitcoin mining gets more descentralized.
Bitcoin mining gets more clean (renewable energy sources).
Bitcoin miners in other countries become more profitable.
Bitcoin miners all around the world get cheap mining rigs from China.
Mining difficulty automatically adjusts as per protocol, neutralizing the effects of less (or more) mining rigs coming on/off line.
This kills the FUD about: “China controls Bitcoin!” (China will have no miners, no exchanges, no nothing to ‘control’)
This kills the FUD about: “Bitcoin uses dirty energy!” (Bitcoin mining uses mainly clean energy but in China part of the mining was being done with coal).
This kills the recurrent FUD: “China bans Bitcoin!” (there’s nothing left to ‘ban’ for them in the future).

Because of this national behavior of El Salvador, Bitcoin will form a good news, which may support Bitcoin to rise temporarily.
But don't forget that China and the United States and other big countries have all started to sell Bitcoin, and the development environment of Bitcoin is not optimistic.

The success of the Covid 19 vaccine means that people's lives will return to normal, and many unemployed people will return to work. With the advent of vaccines, the global economy has recovered. Overall, the emergence of the Covid 19 vaccine will have an impact on tokens and will help promote the adoption of cryptocurrencies by institutions.

Even if Iran introduces a suppression of Bitcoin, people may continue to use Bitcoin to trade or hold. It is certain that Iranian Bitcoin users will not be abandoned by the policy of suppressing Bitcoin. Because Iran’s policy of suppressing Bitcoin is bad for Bitcoin, but Iran’s volume in the field of cryptocurrency is very small, so it has little effect.

Re: I think many people are free to buy Bitcoin wealth, but I feel powerless
by

If you miss it, it's okay. You don't have the courage to accept failure, but you are not ready for luck.
Do not regret, you may miss the possibility of getting rich, or you may miss the possibility of bankruptcy. Investment requires foresight and luck. If you don't have these, work hard and don't think about unrealistic things.
