How does WinTokens make money?

WinTokens makes money by taking a cut of the proceeds. With each draw, 20% of the proceeds goes to the winner, 30% to the jackpot, and 25% to the charity and 25% to the system fee. The system fee funds development, maintenance, marketing, sales and market development.

All payments to the platform and payouts to winners and charity partners will be via the WIN token. The WIN token is ERC-20 compliant, and will be listed in major exchanges allowing for the conversion to BTC, ETH, fiat currency, or other crypto tokens.

maybe I did not understand correctly ... do you only have a 50% prize fund? the rest for development and so on? I think that under such conditions there will be few who want to play .... good gaming profit is from 3-5%

Thank you for your question.

WinTokens is a 50/50 raffle draw where 50% of the funds goes to the winner and the other 50% goes towards charities and covers operational costs. In a gaming raffle, players purchase tickets that get entered into a draw, and the winner walks away with 50% of the total raised. Many traditional 50/50 raffles have high operational, marketing and administrative costs, leaving the charity with very little to support their cause. WinTokens will cover all development, operational, and marketing costs with the 25%.

A raffle game is more similar to a lottery game rather than a slot game.

When you are referring to a gaming profit of 3%-5%, I believe you are referring to slot game operations where games are deployed at 95%-97%. The WinTokens team has developed and launched a wide variety of those games for casinos, video lottery terminals (VLTs), and online slot platforms – in which case those games employ a math model giving 3%-5% gaming profit.

Actually, you don't need to have money to invest in crypto. If you don't have money, you can take part in marketing campaign to get tokens or BTC or ETH. After that selling them to have money and begin trading

^^This. There are a multitude of marketing campaigns out there are many of they are quite generous. Yes, it's a gamble no knowing which ones are going to succeed or not but definitely a lot less risk doing that then investing money, especially if you are new to this.

I'm surprised ARDR is not on this list?

1. Proven development team - already fully functioning product/software. Tweaks and improvements yet to come fine but the core product is functioning already.
It's from the developers of NXT, an already proven team of programmers.  NXT was a completely new cryptocurrency written from the ground up (not a bitcoin cloin). ARDR is the next evolution of NXT. It's been in development for over a year already. Testnet released, Mainnet to launch Jan 1st 2018.

2. Obvious Use case
The beauty of ARDR is its not looking to solve problems that don't exist yet. It's features have real world cases that are useful to current-day businesses. BaaS (Blockchain-as-a-Service) could be utilized by big brands (think customer loyalty points cards), insurance companies (immutable data), banks (obviously) and many other services. Child chains allow any entity to create and control their own blockchain easily and solve the current blockchain bloat dilemma (Bitcoin, Ethereum).

3. Not already in the top 10
With such corporate appeal its surprising more people aren't supporting it. The team is very active, attending and speaking at blockchain conventions/conferences. I suggest checking the twitter.

4. Initial distributional method
Everyone who held NXT during the Snapshot period was credited ARDR tokens on a 1:1 basis.

5. Long term commitment and proven staying power
The Jeluruda foundation raised over $150,000,000 in their IGNIS ICO which was open for months and sold 50% of all IGNIS. IGNIS is the first child chain of ARDR. The only way to get IGNIS now is to hold ARDR during the snapshot at the end of december to be credited .5:1 IGNIS to ARDR.
Obviously you can just look at NXT to see the teams long term commitment and staying power. With their current budget they can afford development and marketing for years to come.

I was in Jakarta back in 2015 for business. Interesting place, but very crowded. But I could sense the quick pace of development. In 5-10 years, it could be a powerhouse.

I was in Tokyo in 2014. Here are a few quick observations:

1) How Tourist-unfriendly the city is. There are various different metro lines run by different companies that aren't interconnected. Get on the wrong one and God knows where you will end up.

2) Half of the ATMs don't accept foreign cards. I've used a foreign card at a 711 up in the mountains in rural Taiwan. That was fine. But not in Tokyo.

3) Lack of English proficiency. In Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, I'd say at least half the people under 40 can speak passable English. Not in Tokyo.

BUT despite all that it's very, very clean!

Re: Google Authenticator or Authy
by

I would recommend using Google Authentication.

I would definitely recommend Google Authenticator. Now, less but I used it a lot before and I'm happy with it. In my opinion this is a very useful thing.
I use Google Authenticator and have never had any problems. The codes are generated every 30 seconds and you don’t need to use internet or cellular connectivity to receive the code. This is key as i've found that often using text messages for authentication is hit or miss. I would often not receive the codes.
Why would anyone use Google Authenticator if they don't let you backup your codes? Why not use a open source 2FA app like AndOTP or a cheap paid one like Authenticator Plus?

Lost your device and haven't saved your codes before enabling 2FA? Bye bye accounts.

When you first set it up they give you a list of backup codes to print out so no issues there as long as you don't loose the printout. Wink

Re: How to sell BCH for Canadian Dollar?

Any sites or methods to sell left over BCH for Canadian dollar? Ive heard about https://www.canadianbitcoins.com. Is it trust worthy? Any BCH, BTC credit cards in Canada? Like bitpay.

Thank you for your time.

Looks like you may be able to do it on QuadrigaCX but I have not tried and cannot confirm. Just setup my account with them and will let you know once verified.
