hey could someone tell me what UTC pool is online and working? because i had looked for the pools in the internet, i found 20 URLs, and only 2 is working!!!!!!  Angry whats going on?

PS: HO! and this 2 pools are:

http://ultracoinpool.info/index.php?page=tac (how can sing up? invited people only kkkkk)

http://www.ultracoins.info/ (this looks fine)

some good soul could help me?Huh and explain me whats going on!?

http://ultracoinpool.info has the majority of the network hash so use http://www.ultracoins.info/ to spread the hash rate. A lot of the other mining pools or no longer operational.

At the current n-factor, Mining Ultracoin is now cooler for a gpu than using x11 algo....and equivalent in power usage.

Do not forget used back up pool or move to the other one

So what happened to ultracoinpool.info??? Someone should make an announcement before they start messing with things.

About what man something wrong with the pool?

Ok I just edited that, I have some issues on my end. All my miners quit today. I changed to your pool and they wont work there either, so I will check in to it.

Just a quick update guys regarding multipool. We had to do a quick change on one of the coins due to unforseen events and devs walking out on a coin. We have completed though our closed beta and I am pleased to say things have performed better than expected...scrypts are running and selling the mined coins as fast as possible to get the best profitability.. The payment process is very simple and no coins are on any server / wallet for more than 15 seconds. The longest any coin is anywhere is on a exchange waiting to buyup utc. Once utc is bought it is auto called back to the pool and distributed to the miners automatically.
We are now looking for a open beta for you guys to gather feedback etc. If any miner who would like to help please pm me with your prefeered algo and power that would be awesome...Just as a reminder we have x11 scrypt and sha256. We also have dedicated difficulty ports for people wishing to mine a coin of their choosing and still get paid in utc. We are also working on adding a seperate block explorer to the pool site in a feed for those who are interested. This weekend I travelled a few hundred miles round trip for talks with my partner and to knuckle heads properly,  we allready own a few domains and two specifically for the pool and the second for a webshop. The webshop to start is to be aimed at UK miners. We have been talking to our coder and we will be looking at integrating the multipool with the shop to mine directly there, in the view to activly use utc as a real world currency. Now this is simply in the pipeline and a idea we have, but wanted to get your guys views on this as we are lolooking to activly get involved with the community we dont want to be sat twiddling our thumbs once the multipool is setup. The multipool is tottally managed and is fully automated so requires once setup litte input from us. But that doesnt mean it will be put on a backburner it simply means we pay good money every month to our devs for looking after it :-)  so views on shop intergrated with mining please :-)

Thanks craig.
Could you elaborate more on the webshop idea and what you mean by mining at the webshop? Are you talking an online account where a miners payout would be held and able to be spent directly in the shop? It all sounds good, in fact having wallets interact directly with a marketplace I think will be a big hit once adoption. I think Cloakcoin is working on something like this. Utc has great potential for this purpose and it would be interesting to also see the UTC devs consider some form of marketplace linked directly within the wallet gui. A big job but it would create a UTC store similar to apple or Microsoft where only UTC accepted. I think this is a better approach for long term marketing then just getting payment processors to accept the coin. Lots of coins are accepted by payment processors so that in itself does not create a specific market for Ultracoin.
On a side note UTC needs respectable developers for MPI (MineCraft Plug In)...Know anyone?

Forgive my bluntness but can I ask what the dev team are doin at the moment? I'm not saying they are doing nothing, I just honestly don't know what they are working on.

Also why is it taking so long to do the minecraft thing. If you have commissioned/hired a guy who knows what he is doing then why is it taking him months to do. I'm just asking what others are thinking but to polite to ask.
My flat mate wants to know why he should buy some more UTC.

PS: great news about the multipool! Well fone guys! UTC holders appricate it

I was thinking the same thing today on my way home from work, Bumface was always updating us frequently while he was at the helm but now that things have changed I feel like we're all in the dark and this is affecting the growth of ultracoin.

The last announcement was that a java developer was consulted about the minecraft plugin, and that was only a few weeks ago, not months. If anything is being done it is the early stages of design and development and once built needs to to be tested and implemented properly. On the downside I see this coin is not anyones full time job and the coin and price has only recently recovered from the last announcement about going full POS and telling everyone to announce it from the roof tops and then not doing it. It caused confusion then also with two wallet updates within a few days the exchanges like cryptsy and mintpal got messed up and had to halt deposits and withdrawals not realising they needed to upgrade again. Even now the wallet still has some unattractive bugs in it that cause troubles. Not sure if it affects everyone but if you receive lots of small incoming transactions such as receiving regular payments from a mining pool it will not consolidate those coins for sending in a transaction greater than 10000 bytes. It has issues broadcasting the transaction to the blockchain and usually ends in an error unless you manually consolidate and send them to a different wallet. Otherwise select inputs to be less than 10000 bytes and everything ok. Also if you type "getmininginfo" it says the block reward is still 50 coins per block although that is not a biggy.
On the upside UTC still has a mining niche even though its not yet popular and with the new n-factor at 14 the power consumption for a gpu is now comparable to X11 so hopefully the management and marketing is taking some time to gain some understanding and consider the consequences before implementing any changes. UTC could have a bright future if things are managed and marketed properly but right now there is a lack of understanding amidst miners about the asic resistance of UTC, the "high" power consumption (that it used to require) and the thoughts that cpu botnets eventually taking over the network once the  n-factor keeps increasing. Things to consider.

Ultracoin Still mineable?

I tried mining this Ultracoin with both my CPU and GPU - the Stratum Connection to the ultrapools.info is Working but I dont see any shares submitted. All I see is "Stratum detected new block"

CPU Miner: minerd-yacoin_stratum_x64_2_4_0
Specs: AMD FX 4130 Quad-Core Processor @ 3.80GHz

GPU Miner: Ultracoinminer  (On the GPU miner I get HWs a lot).
Specs: 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7970

I have tried all the settings for the GPU with no success. The CPU hash fine but only show "Stratum detected new Block" and NO shares are being submitted.
I need help if someone has a Solution. Thanks!

In my opinion the Ultracoinminer does not work well, always gave hw errors. Switch to yacminer for gpu and use the config generator for settings. https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMiner

TO ALL !!

THIS INVOLVES YOU ALSO !

WHY IS THE UTC WALLET AT CRYPTSY "UNDER MAINTENANCE" FOR A VIEW DAYS Huh

THIS INVOLVES EVERYBODY, BUT CRYPTSY DONT ANSWER ON QUESTIONS !!!!

PLEASE LOOK AT YOUR OWN (under maintenance) UTC ACCOUNT AT CRYPTSY..... AND THEN ASK THE SUPPORT TEAM TO ANSWER YOU

Has anybody the same problem with Cryptsy ?

If I sent UTC from my wallet to crypsty there is no deposit at cryptsy ?

If I want the withdraw from Cryptsy there is an automatic message "Our wallet is currently offline while we perform system maintenance".

Only the UTC wallet is off line at Cryptsy "for system maintenance" , no other wallets !!!???

I have send a message/ticket to Cryptsy support but they still don't answer for more then 24 hours.

Does anybody know what is the problem Huh

I have the same at crypsy.

Please look all in to this personally at your own account and pm the support of them with questions .....

Mintpal also not allowing UTC withdrawals or deposits.

I did have 14.4 on there in the past before I downgraded my drivers to 3.12. Perhaps that has something to do with it? I used Graphic Uninstaller Utility to remove the old drivers but perhaps it left something behind like the file you are talking about?

I remember one trick but not sure if it will pertain to you or to yacminer but give it a try. This works with cgminer also. Uninstall the yacminer and re-install it. If you tried to run yacminer at any time while using the 14.4 drivers you will have problems. I think the first time the miner runs it creates some internal reference file based on the driver and uses that as a reference every time you start it again so if you ran it with 14.4 and then downgraded  to 13.xx it is still using some reference file based on 14.4. Also if you mine x11 occasionaly you do not need to upgrade drivers for the x11mod if you use the LTCRabbit version. It works fine on 13.xx drivers and still gives increase hashrate but for me I have to reboot miners completely if I switch from x11 to yacminer or some gpu just go dead or wont start. reboot and everything awesome again.

To all about the Multipool.

We just get today an message of the administrator of the multipool, Hayden,
from his message we can read he is not able to manage the multipool for longtime.

Please read the message below from Hayden ;

"....Hi All, Sorry about the delayed contact. The Army has just called me and I am now on an Aeroplane and will not be returning home for a few months. Sorry about this, it was unplanned. I will not be able to administer the multipool at all anymore. If you leave a message here I will try to get back to it when I get time but time in the army just doesnt exist...."

This means that i advice everybody to stop directly mining at the multipool and start mining at our UTC POOLS or even at NITRO2.

Remember in this how important it is to spread the hash among the pools !!!!

If we have more info we let you now a.s.a.p. !

Is this for real?!?!? I mean, seriously...... complete GARBAGE. No wonder UTC gets such a bad rep. Myself, and everyone else, had better be getting payouts for nearly a week of 100% hashing at the multipool, or I see little reason not to propagate the horrible rep that UTC so appropriately deserves. I give UTC a chance, and this is the result..... pitiful.

Well even though he is gone the coins were still mined and will be in his wallets somewhere. Maybe in a few months there might be a payout... or not. Who knows....I gave the multipool 3 days of mining on twelve cards and received 0 coins.

"i have put hashrates to dev pools, but there are a lot of HW,and i think it happens because of changing of N-factor."

If you are not using the yacminer try that. It is very stable and 0 hw for me. I always had problems with the cgminer for this coin.
Just try the config generator, if still having problems give ThirtyBird a pm, he da man!

Here the config link:

Does anyone have YACminer settings for the R9 280x at the new N-Factor?
If they are 3gb cards then this is from the config:

yacminer --scrypt-chacha --worksize 128 -g 1 --lookup-gap 8 --buffer-size 2590 -R 5120 -o stratum+tcp://: -u -p --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1388361600

Does it matter if Xnode wallet is encrypted?
If I have 1000 Xc in wallet and set reservebalance=15 in config file, does that mean only 15 coins can be used for xnode and all others could be used for stake?

I will soon be writing an article about Ultracoin's new payment processor, CoinPayments. This is a huge victory for the Ultracoin community and we need to make our success known to the crypto world. I am looking for suggestions for the upcoming Ultracoin article from the Ultracoin community. Any suggestions are appreciated  Smiley Specifically, any mining related expertise would be appreciated, as this is where my knowledge is most limited. Scrypt-Jane is one of Ultracoin's biggest selling points and I think it would be beneficial to explain the value of our hashing algorithm in a way that is easy to understand.

See www.coingas.com and www.cryptosextoys.com for 2 services currently using UTC. Been taking UTC directly for ages.
If writing an official article about UTC the algo is called scrypt-chacha and using cryptosextoys to publicly promote the coin is like sticking your finger up your own butt!  Something better left undone.

Grin We got loads of stuff to stick up your butt...some of it real freaky!
Ah yes, the UTC butt plug, lol.
