Re: Content creation

Content creation is currently booming for multiple reasons, people like attention, need money, and temporarily we are seeing AI companies paying creators for many of their previously unused video clips, in order to train AI models on fresh video. This is something I read recently, but do not currently have the link to show proof.

Found another: "AI is an unprecedented threat to humanity because it is the first technology in history that can make decisions and create new ideas by itself," Harari writes. Nuclear bombs cannot choose where they are dropped. Autonomous drones, on the other hand, could decide by themselves whom to kill.

The Rise of the Immortal Dictator: What Will AI Mean for Freedom and Government?

Quote
"If one company or small group of people manages to develop godlike digital superintelligence, they could take over the world. At least when there’s an evil dictator, that human is going to die. But for an AI, there would be no death. It would live forever. And then you’d have an immortal dictator from which we can never escape." —Elon Musk (2018)

The Deep State is about to go turbocharged.

While the news media fixates on the extent to which Project 2025 may be the Trump Administration’s playbook for locking down the nation, there is a more subversive power play taking place under cover of Trump’s unique brand of circus politics.

Take a closer look at what’s unfolding, and you will find that all appearances to the contrary, Trump isn’t planning to do away with the Deep State. Rather, he was hired by the Deep State to usher in the golden age of AI.

Get ready for Surveillance State 2.0.

To achieve this turbocharged surveillance state, the government is turning to its most powerful weapon yet: artificial intelligence. AI, with its ability to learn, adapt, and operate at speeds unimaginable to humans, is poised to become the engine of this new world order....

...AI surveillance is already re-orienting our world into one in which freedom is almost unrecognizable by doing what the police state lacks the manpower and resources to do efficiently or effectively: be everywhere, watch everyone and everything, monitor, identify, catalogue, cross-check, cross-reference, and collude.

As Eric Schmidt, the former Google CEO remarked, "We know where you are. We know where you’ve been. We can more or less know what you’re thinking about… Your digital identity will live forever... because there’s no delete button."

Is it really game over soon?
What happened to Bitcoin/crypto helping set people free in the future?
How can innocent people break free from the AI New Order?

What can you actually use this for, a really simple database? Does it have the code for peer to peer sharing? Thank you.

We are not the "Economic Terrorists" which some elite leaders warned about, but high prices do give BTC and crypto a chance to affect the future!

..
...find the chart for the total M2 money supply and compare it with Bitcoin's market cycles. There's a correlation. If the money supply expands, Bitcoin is in a bullish cycle, of it contracts, it goes in a bearish cycle.
....

Too much funny money being created = More inflation and higher BTC prices, no surprise there. We seem to have two (or more) conversations developing:

1) Does the "Fed rate adjustment on March 19/20 2024" really matter when the big picture calls for a historically huge collapse of the Global economy?
2) Will the Fed (or any other "economic fundamentals") affect the ability of BTC to continue the 2024 Bull run and stay near/above the ATH before going much higher?

They raised too fast in recent history, so no action or a cut are the only likely options. The USA debt is out of control so at some point debates over small adjustments will end and mass panic will take over. Hopefully, that day can be delayed for several more years.

Well due to recent HBAR progress i think this thread might start being more active as HBAR climbs the ranks and people want to learn more about the project...

The image you posted with companies supporting their governing body includes many heavily centralized giants. Looks like a great reason to stay away!

Why would anyone with that much experience go near Coinbase? Their fees are crazy high for anything you try to do - so maybe it is related to charity - which still leaves the question why choose to lose so much in fees?

I love getting outside when the weather is decent, so I take frequent nature walks at break time. Also, a quick round of an old video game can be fun.

I planned to buy some altcoins now that we are in a bear market but someone I knew is telling me not to, that its possible more dumps will take place, my question is how will I know when it's the right time to buy coins?

You absolutely need to take some of the funds and buy now, maybe as much as 50% since BTC is also very low. If prices go lower, you get more chances to buy and, even better, when the market bounces a bit you can combine short and long-term strategies and take many quick profits. Don't miss out!

... I can't imagine people filing their tax returns with thousands and thousands of payments. Unless an app is created that does it automatically, but that would mean giving the data of all your transactions to a third-party....

What do you think about it?

The app is a great idea and does not have to give data to a third party. It could be, for example, open source software with a free/community version that handles 2 or 3 thousand transactions per year, and a premium/commercial version with unlimited transactions, plus a few more features, etc. There is a huge need for this! Thank you, for the exciting business idea. Does anyone know if this already exists - in any country - especially for the USA?

Legislation will prevent Bitcoin from being used as an everyday currency?

With a tiny bit of effort on your part it is too late to stop BTC as an everyday currency. For example (USA in this case), buy working/usable Grubhub/Doordash codes for a ~20% discount on an established, safe exchange site and you have people bring you food.

15. Dont Bump on The Old Topics.

Bumping some threads could be very helpful if it contains useful information that other members could have missed, especially if it didn't get much attention when posted.
There are couple of old threads where the discussion is still very relevant and informative. Such threads has a lot newbies can learn from.
....

I have no merit to give, but this is one old topic which deserves to come back to life. Sometimes old threads do contain both education and entertainment.

Re: From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks

This is one of the most bullish news I've heard recently:

From 2020, the sale and custody of Bitcoin will be allowed to all German banks

Quote
So far, there was a clear legal separation between the normal regulated banking and crypto transactions. The custody and trading of Bitcoin and Kryptos has until now always been outsourced to specialized partners or subsidiaries with appropriate licenses. By 2020 all German banks should be redeemed.

Quote
If all German banks can suddenly sell bitcoin to their customers with a few clicks from 2020, that is a big digital transformation of the traditional banks. It could finally enable the bitcoin and blockchain industry in Germany to compete on equal terms with other states. Although the Federal Council still has to approve the new law, the approval is considered certain.

It makes a lot of sense for a Bank to sell Bitcoin.
....

Wow, reality and fantasy are colliding in an Epic Multi-Trillion Dollar Big Bang.

by

well it is centralized so it is exactly against the real Satoshi's vision.
it also was forked out of bitcoin with smallest hashrate possible and that is again against Satoshi's principles of Proof of Work and how majority are the decision makers and the chain with the biggest proof of work is the real bitcoin.
it is also owned by well known scammers and has no reason to exist which makes it a shitcoin.

Understanding many people feeling strong about Craig the Scammer:
well it is centralized...
I'm not aware of how it is centralized, can someone explain?

BSV is the crossroads of the Executive Committee, itself a great controversy in the community and dragged the war to win the title of BCH. The war has affected the price of the official bitcoin, for me except bitcoin (BTC), all the remaining bitcoins are fraud, even BCH. All relying on bitcoin's reputation to deceive the community, no project can defeat bitcoin until now.

I was able to miss "the War" with BCH, but certainly some people got excited. The responses clearly indicate a community rejection of "Satoshi's (new) Vision". Does the real Satoshi need glasses to see better?  Cheesy

"The Bitcoin SV project begins by restoring what was the original Bitcoin protocol, as described in the whitepaper by Satoshi Nakamoto."  (fyi: bitcoinsv.io)

Does BTC (SV) represent Satoshi's Vision (or Craig W.)? Is BitcoinSV a Bitcoin topic or alt coin?
