Same shit different exchange. Iconomi's future looks bright, ICN seems like a dead cat. ICN is actually a ball-ache for the devs now that the platform is gaining traction and it has no real world benefit. Big sell off likely from disgruntled holders who wait for every false dawn this token brings. Opportunity cost is a motherfucker.
Very few ICO's are available for U.S citizens anyway. No change there. The SEC would define ICN as a security but from what I read this is a report and not legislation or any form of statutory instrument. Just a steering document for best practice so they can say I told you so if anything goes tits up.
Dont quit your job unless you got 2 million if you got that dump buy 15 houses and live on 150k a year with 500k to reinvest in whatever

So I've been off work for 5 weeks as my partner and I have had our first child. Due back on Monday, but tempted not to with the price hike. Anyone else with a decent holding considering giving up their day job too? Serious question. Or am I being crazy to even think of it? Ps - I don't like my job but I also don't want to liquidate my holding too much either. Also don't want to quit and see the price tank! Anyone else got a similar dilemma??
The same hear with the difference that I already did it , I'm actually living of the criptocurrency like Icn , waves , eth , Xem and others .
The key hear is Sell hight price , and buy cheaper price and diversity of coins not only one

Thanks for the reply bro and good luck to you too. Congratulations for taking the plunge and quitting your job. Yes I need to have a more diverse portfolio for sure, but that's my intention once the ICONOMI platform is up and running fully as well. Would you be tempted to put your holding into something more "stable" than icn if you were thinking of taking time away from work? Perhaps eth or btc - less likely to fall by say 25% overnight!? Also with this btc fork taking place on 1 Aug, should I be more cautious and wait for that to see if that crashes the price?

So if I understand this correctly there are exactly 222 people who have more than 50K ICN. They'll add them to the test in no time.
Incorrect - these are the unique amounts purchased during ICO. It's possible there are way more than 222 because I for example bought 3 times.
There are some truly sad bastards here. To have nothing better to do than troll/fud is beyond pathetic and the patronising, entitled tone is nauseating. The length of some posts too, why use one word when several hundred will do? Gobsmacked that it has taken valuable time to construct and publish a hypothesis on a principle you disagree with. Just keep quiet and move along - stop trying to derail a legitimate project that you are clearly envious about. Get a life, get a hobby or a partner. Anything but this, you're embarrassing yourself.
Even if I intend to buy using BTC for the cofound.it pre-sale, I need an eth address. Anyone got any advice for someone not the most technical who uses iOS via iPad? Potentially stupid question but I sent eth direct from a platform for icn ico - could I use that address? Any help would be great. Some people haven't got the minerals for crypto - simple as that. Need to stick to regulation where they can complain to the fca or ombudsman when things don't go the way they want them to. We are sailing in unchartered waters gentlemen - enjoy the adventure, enjoy being part of a new frontier. Them fan boys don't get it that it's the real investors who hold enough ICN to make them cry in their cornflakes should they go against the market, are
the one who are asking the difficult questions.
Instead, the fanboys with their measly amounts of ICN resort to deleting pertinent questions and just label it as FUD.
Also it makes me question the judgement of the ICONOMI team to be granting moderator rights to people who are not even on their team.
Any enterprise worth their salt have dedicated PR teams to handle all these kinds of affairs.
They are delegating the image of their brand to some moron from the Middle East.

If that helps you to sleep at night, keep thinking it. The reality is you're wrong. I'm not a whale but have a healthy holding. I can afford the bumps in the road and the plateaus. The wannabe traders playing with what I'd spend on a night out are the ones getting stressed.
The fud gets less sophisticated the lower the price drops. Which means what said in a more "sophisticated" way previously was always fud despite it being denied by those spouting it. You can't educate pork. Also - wake up Daparski. You're letting a lot slide here homes.
