Re: Trading with Bitcoin
by

I'm very much looking forward to being able to trade FX, equities and commodities with Bitcoin and especially to having brokerage accounts that allow me to deposit and cash out in BTC. There isn't much out there yet, although I have high hopes for TorBroker and others.

So I wanted to start this thread to discuss some of the already existing services and share my experiences as I try out some of the ones already out there, as well as any new ones that might launch soon.

I completely agree with you, bitcoin is getting more and more popular and trading platforms must now allow to deposit/withdraw with BTC

I have a question that why people scare to show their identity if they are doing legal? Why people do not use real identity??? It makes here a more trustable market!!
Why people hate to come under the sun while they know it's not gonna kill them? The answer lies within, they doesn't wanna get exposed directly until needed.

Re: Checking for payout
by

Hi all, I have stated on this Bitcoin collection early December last year and hope to learn more from the forum discussion.

Over the past weeks, after going from website to website where they offer free bitcoins, I don't seems to understand or check the payout for the 3 following website:

1. BitVisior (http://www.bitvisitor.com/) - it supposed to be a big a reputable PTC site and credit bitcoins for every 5mins of adv watched. But once it hit over 60 uBTC, it just cleared out the accumulation but I never received the payout. Does any one has similar encounter?

2. Bunny Race ( http://boklund.nu/) - interesting website to collect bitcoins with a rabbit race. But after days of running the rabbits, I cannot find any place to check for the winning pool nor payout button. Can any one advise me?

3. BitCoin Jackpot (http://bitcoin-jackpot.herokuapp.com/) - This website has a different captcha by using matching articles. But same as Buddy Race, the winning pool cannot be found and there is no payout button.  : (

Hope any of you kind soul can shed some light on my enquiry and wish all of you a very happy new year.

How much actually in BTC have you made till now and what value does it make while converted to FIAT?Does it worth it,or you are just collecting out of interest?

Is there anybody in these forums who is finding it difficult to setup an Offshore bank account for their Bitcoin related business?
or looking for a payment processing solution to accept online payments like Credit cards, ACH, check21 etc
You are pointing you could be able to provide a offshore bank account or asking if anyone does so.

It's a nice thought, but economically speaking, even if massively adopted, BTC couldn't save a country from bankruptcy. A currency that they cannot control wouldn't become the primary currency of a failing economy
Exactly,a country's falling economy has certain conditions, say political instability or due to ongoing conflicts.Adoption of decentralized currency wouldn't do any good

Bitcoin has yet to go through a period of recession of the global economy.  How the price of Bitcoin reacts could have major implications for the question of "Store of Value".
Bitcoin has no connection with what goes on around with the global economy and global economical recession. But then also having valued to FIATs after all it might hamper somehow i

Conservative should stop denying the truth .
It's not possible for any leader to fulfill his every promises but to a certain extend as he is not only alone to make and pass the bills and takeover everything around.

It's free, super cool 24/7 music, no ads, not a single spoken word...

A lot of different genres... and the best part, I'm listening to this radio for few years now and music just doesn't start to repeat!

http://bgdradio.net

Show them some love!

Note: I have no relationship with this radio in any way, i just love what they do. Few weeks ago I asked them about btc donations and they added the donation address recently.

Thanks I like listening to radio rather than go select/search to songs and play them manually.Radio has a list of chosen songs played

What are you looking for in a coin in order to invest in it? What do you need to use it as currency?

For fall disclosure, I plan on compiling these responses along with those from other sources into an article at virtfund.com.
A faithful development community is what a coin needs. So many coins these days that appears for some months and then disappear

Dear Friend,
I write this because I know you stole 91.4 BTC from me on 24 November 2013.

I am prepared to forgive you but to obtain Gods mercy is dependant on your returning just half what you took and I would forgive you the remaining debt and pray to God to also show you mercy and forgiveness.

Praise be to God / Allah.

Re: Antminer S1 My first rig
by
Wooden Plate
on 31/08/2014, 15:27:28 UTC
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and to bitcoin mining.

I order an Antminer S1 to set-up just so I can gain some more experience with mining, didn't want to spend a lot of money and end up screwing something up.

I paid $117 for the unit. I also bought the WiFi adapter kit because I don't plan on having my unit right next to the router, that cost $10. And finally a Corsair 430x as my PSU for $20. That means I've invested $147, don't worry I'm keeping track of all of this on an Excel spreadsheet.

According to my calculations, I should break even in about 3 months based on the current value of bitcoin as well as the cost of electricity. Of course those factors are not fixed and are variable, which is why it is virtually impossible for me to predict a time period to break even. Also if my machine stops functioning that would be a variable factor.

The reason I'm posting this is to ask if there's any advice? I plan on joining a mining pool and am not sure which one would be the best for me.

Thanks! Smiley
You mean you are starting now?Best of luck these days mining isn't anymore a good mean to earn a decent profit.Anyways you stepped in hope you are gonna make some

Yeah for many people it's only a waste of time and money,Nowadays there is not much profit in the mining anymore unless done in large scale
