Update...
I went into my "backups" folder, loaded the wallet file from immediately after I started the latest MN, and now, I am good to go. I still don't know exactly what happened, but I am whole again, and that's all that matters!

Had the same thing happen when I had a power outage and unexpected close.

My wallet is out of sync and showing o active connection. i deleted all files (except wallet.dat) from app data but still not sync. i can see there is some node listed by other members.can anybody help me how to setup/add this node into my PIO wallet?
My wallet works without adding a .conf file. You may have a corrupted wallet which can happen on an unexpected computer
shutdown.
You might try deleting everything in the appdata-roaming file
EXCEPT the wallet.day file. Before you delete anything make sure you
have a copy of your wallet.dat. Since all files for wallets are named
wallet.dat, be careful you do not copy it to another wallet file. An easy
way is to save it under a name such as wallet.dat.pio.date
Once you restart the wallet, the files will restore and re-sync the chain.

I can't access my wallet at all. In my diamond appdata folder I deleted the blocks and chainstate folders like every other damn time the block chain messes up and still will not boot the wallet just Auto crash.
There isn't even a wallet.dat in appdata. After I delete the folders all I get is my original conf file. Nothing else
Far as I can tell there is nothing I can do here to access my coins. Pain in the ass as this block chain has crashed multiple times on me but this time I see no way of fixing it.
Any ideas anyone?
Hopefully, you have a copy of your wallet.dat. In which case you should be fine after starting with a new wallet as described by Shveicar. I have used that method myself and it works well. If you do not have a copy of wallet.dat, your only other possibility is to get a new clean wallet going and, to import the private keys for each address that has coins. Ok, guys. I have a problem. I've tried everything I know to diagnose and correct the problem, with no success.
Every time I reboot my desktop, it comes back on with an incorrect time displayed. This is the heart of the problem. I don't know why this is happening. I've tried enabling and disabling the automatic time update, and neither fixes my problem.
Whenever I open my VGS wallet, it pops up a message saying that the wallet won't function properly if the time and date on my PC isn't correct.
The problem comes in as my wallet tries to synchronize. It never gets to 100%. I am currently stuck at 50%. I have corrected the time on my PC, and rebooted my wallet. It still fails to synchronize.
There has to be some type of underlying issue that I am overlooking which is causing the time to get messed up in the first place. I just don't know what it could be...

I had the same problem (not just one wallet) after a system crash.
That would be number 1 on the list. If you have done that. here are some suggestion
in the order I would try them.

Perhaps this is an annual coin? Maybe dev will come back in December? 
Developer is still here. He does not need to come back. He posted just before you. But, yes -
most promotions, marketing, special reqards, etc.
