I did notice that their website is dodgy. It stays off occasionally and does weird things.

However, it always seems to come back... ;-)

But at the moment there are no stocks of A900 anywhere (apart from Aliexpress where they charge you 11,000 bucks...).

Does anybody have a viable source of A900s or PinIdeas DR3s. Would love to buy another machine...

How did you set up MinerPoolHub on your A900. It is not in the list of pools. So I guess you can enter the details and set up a pool yourself, right?

I am in Austria and the bureaucracy here can be a bitch at times. They want the full monty and complete documentation, otherwise you're screwed and they send the stuff back.

So far I managed to get my two machines through, but it took me a week of haggling with DHL to get it sorted out. Then they slapped storage fees onto the bill as well....

I guess it is always best to purchase directly from the makers, e.g. Baikalminers, PinIdeas etc directly. But one should check out the details on the website first.

Well, I ordered from asicminermarket without checking beforehand and I believed my BTCs were gone.

However, lo and behold. I got an SMS from DHL that my miner was in customs.

It took me a week of battle with DHL to get the miner out of customs, but eventuelly the machine arrived.

I have to admit the machine was in pristine condition and it is mining now perfectly, no problems.

I also ordered a machine from baikalminer, which also arrived. However, they forgot to add the SD card, which was not a problem because I simply cloned the SD card from my first miner from Asicminermarket.

I did notice that the machine from baikalminer does not live up to the full standard. The second board only does 50% acceptance, so I basically only get 650 MH/s instead of the promised 900 MH/s. Seems that the engineer from baikalminer is looking into the problem, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

So bottom line: asicminermarket does deliver, but their support sucks big time. No responses to queries.

Baikalminer on the other hand is great with support, but the product? Hmmm...not so sure...

I have started mining DASH on Suprnova. I am still checking out the results.

I have two A900s (it was a dawg getting them through customs), jeez...

Anyway, one of them seems wonky. I should be getting 2 x 450 MH/s. The miner displays 900 MH/s.
However, one of the boards in one of my miners (there are two boards) only accepts 50%, which means the hashrate in total is not more than 600-650 MH/s, which is annoying.
No idea what is going on.

I have contacted Baikal and they will check out the problem with their engineer, but I am not hopeful.

Plus they forgot to slap in the SD card. Luckily I already had one A900, so I simply cloned the SD card and Bob's your uncle...

I set up my first A900 miner today. It was a dawg to get through customs (no thanks to DHL...).

But it is now happily mining on Supernova.

Since you guys have way more experience, which sequence of mining pools would you currently suggest?

As I said, I have set up Supernova as my first pool and it is working fine. But obviously I want to get the best possible deal.

Jeez guys. I've tried quite a lot of pools: scrypt.cc, clevermining, ghash.io, etc.

None of the pools have proven to be viable over the long run. When Cloudhashers announced that they were offering 3% per day on a stable repayment scheme I invested a fraction of a bitcoin to check whether they were legit.

I've been running with them for close to four weeks and have got most of my investment back.

I'm not in Norway by the way, but in Central Europe. I am not affiliated with Cloudhashers in any way. You can check my Twitter account if you like.

Invest a small amount and let it runn for 3-4 weeks. The worst that can happen is that you get your money back.

OK guys. I've been with Cloudhashers for close to three weeks, virtually right from the start. I admit that I'm not adverse to taking moderate risks and I did risk a fair amount on Cloudhashers. There is an old saying: you have to speculate to accumulate. No pain, no gain, right?

As far as I can tell they are completely legit. It has been working like a charm for three weeks. Initially I made a larger investment and it took 12 hours to start, which got me a bit worried initially. But in the end the money showed up and I put this down to teething problems of the system.

I've seen the pics on Twitter and I like the idea of stability over a period of one year. Tablemining - a fierce competitor it seems - offers only 80 days at 5% vs. the 365 days of Cloudhashers at 3%. Anybody with a bit of mathematical savvy will know that 5% at 80 days will never beat 3% at 365 days. Simple as that....

It will be interesting to see how Cloudhashers will offset the rising difficulty, especially since a large number of Scrypt ASIC machines will hit the market soon.
