Not the entire world population has sufficient internet/computer access or knowledge to participate in Bitcoin yet. The population that is most likely to use bitcoin (industrialized countries) is only a fraction of the 11 Billion.

But the amount of BTC/pp would still be tiny.

Taxes can be paid on a democratic mutual agreement basis.

Most people would pay voluntarily (at least on a community level) as they see benefit from common services.

People come together yearly and discuss how much seems appropriate based on what service / infrastructure is needed.

Those who pay more than average can increase their reputation by doing that -> incentive to do so.

I do not see substantial innovation in LTC.

What I have read so far is that LTC uses a different hashing algorithm, runs faster and will give more coins.

That's a nice experiment but not really a leap forward.

Well, if bitcoin was a stock I'd say based on the last correction total crash (-80 to -100%).

But bitcoin is a new technology which is not widely adopted yet. There is huge influx of new capital. This will limit downward pressure. On the other hand some confidence was lost due to the harsh correction. It needs time to get back to euphoria.

Just my thoughts - but of course I can't see the future...

I think the price will move around the $ 90 to $ 140 range for at least some weeks before rising again.

Technical analysis only makes sense in saturated markets - bitcoin is still in it's infancy. It can die from technical problems or enter hyperdeflation.

But who knows...
