Are you in North America? If not i know Cex.io that let you verify quickly and then buy with credit card. But know that credit cards have usually 3-6% fee when you take into account everything.
If yes, there is Coinbase where you can link to a bank account. If you are in Canada you can use Interact debit to buy instantly at a flat fee of 1$.
It is currently almost 400 usd worth. It almost doubled if i look at it now. It will rise many many more if everone spends a bit to stiulate the market instead of hodling 100%. Why don't buy stuff with bitcoin and introduce more people to this community.
This adoption process is happening but it takes time. The majority of people who were introduced to it were computer savvy users but now that is changing. As more and more people use it on their cell phones to make purchases they will more exposed to it's us and more people will adapt it to their everyday lives.More people have cell phones then computers now. I think bitcoin is in a transition phase where it will be more widely used then we will see it rise in price then what it is at right now at near $400 mark.
Bitcoin seem to be holding its price at around 330$ which is excellent to me up from the previous 220$~ make me want to invest more in Bitcoin, but there are still a lot of up and downs that make me wonder where Bitcoin is heading, especially with the current massive raise in difficulty...
Its too bad i can't set an avatar, i would think proper use of avatar should be fine for newer accounts. I'm not sure what is motivating the forum admin to prevent avatar for new accounts. Maybe for spam or bandwidth or something?

I am not, i am in Canada, but it look like the Paypal debit card, that you can link to Coinbase (the way to buy BTC with Paypal here) was available in the past to Canadians.
I'm trying to find up to date information but i keep getting directed to some crap Paypal "Don't need a card anymore" pages instead. I'll probably just e-mail them if i can't find the offer in the Paypal webpage options.
I would be looking for a hassle-free way of selling my Paypal balance. I did it the past go through the hassle of buying BTC with Paypal by just finding someone who wanted to sell BTC for Paypal but having to deal with a person instead of a online service is a bit troublesome.

Quadriga Cx will accept Bitcoins to Paypal but not the reverse, Cavirtex and the rest won't even touch them because of chargeback that said i'm not quite sure but you could paypal to an altcoin somewhere then use a service like shapeshift to move it into Bitcoin if you find one that seems reliable.
Otherwise you will need to find a user that wants Paypal for Bitcoin it does happen now and then sometimes hosting requires it mumble digital ocean nodes or for ebay but as X42 mentioned that is hard to do as a newbie.

Hmm i actually skipped over this article the first time, i just went through it and noticed that Option #3 says you can link your paypal account to your circle account, that is actually fantastic.

Honestly, it will be hard to get any PayPal without these ridiculous fees. You need to count on paying about 20% over the premium for any BTCs that you buy using PayPal. It also doesn't matter are you using Virwox or are you trading with some person that is willing to sell you bitcoins for Paypal.
Also you are a brand new account, so it will be hard for you to find anyone to sell you on this forum, but you can try. Post to the Currency exchange thread of this forum.

I see, thanks for the reply. If there is really no proper option, i will just do it the long way. It take time to reach the bank account but there is no fee and from there i can easily buy BTC. Paypal has ridiculously high fee, so i guess expecting a easy way to withdraw money from it to BTC was asking too much.

Yes soon bitcoin will be to the moon really.I don't agree with who says 500 $ is the moon but in reality it is just warm up and starting period is to began soon and then so on towards real moon when price will reach over 10000 $/BTC.
A stable 500$ would be very nice. I could see making more efforts for obtaining a Bitcoin revenue more worthwhile then. My little miner is not earning a whole lot of bitcoin after the electricity costs, but i think if we see a stable 400$ by 2016 and then stable 700$ by 2017, that my mining endeavors would become very worthwhile.
Some people are going crazy, speculating that the price will raises to new, massive, Heights (exponentially) by 2020, which i doubt, expecting 5 digits BTC value seem a bit farfetched so soon, but just somewhere in the thousands would make be very happy.

Its a great way to incorporate the super ledger technology of bitcoin into current bank systems. This would allow bank great autonomy and ease of verification, but it would certainly have administrative powers over their "blockchain".
This means they could allow chargeback and corrections when a transaction has been improperly sent to the wrong destination or wrong amount. It would just be a method for them to secure the transactions and ownership.

or you can create an offline paper wallet on an offline computer and then print it a few times and keep the private key copies safe somewhere in your safe or something like that
The answer is beyond a doubt, generating a privkey on a computer that has never touched the internet and never will. Then you send bitcoin to its public address. Unless BTC get cracked by a super mega computer, your bitcoin will be absolutely safe. A way of doing this is using the wallet armory. A way that doesn't deal with any third party is called the aforementioned paper wallet, but its not very convenient to use.

Oh wow, i hope i can do better in the future. Thats really not much and i don't exactly have unlimited amount of time to throw at making money online. I sure hope better opportunity arise to make BTC online. Its nice to get a nice side income going, but it need to pay humanly at least.

By posting 7 times per week i'm not sure i'd respect any minimum and getting paid something like 0.000045 per post isint worth the hassle of posting more. Thats like faucet level. I'm not that cheap.

The campaign I co-manage pays 0.00021 per post, thats not much, but fairly more than you can get from a faucet.
But sure, you have to decide for yourself if you think its worth it.

Mhm, well 0.00021 for newbie-jr member sure. I wouldn't mind selling my signature space for that much. It's 1/4th lower than Full Member. But the amount is so low per week at 7 posts, i'm not sure its worth the hassle. It would barely make 5$~ over a period of 4 months, is that worth bothering for?.

Then you can grow time by time to Full Member, you can also buy a full member for 10-20$, or a senior member for 30$+

It look like there would be no way for me to start earning money on Campaign Ads. I'm guessing the only thing i could do right now is contribute to discussion while my account age up some and then join some ad campaign when i reach Full Member + ?
There are several campaigns that enroll juniors (some even newbies). Rates are alot lower than for the higher groups, but you can start earning while you rank up your account.
I just don't like this account sell/buy thing. It's basically a online identity and identities should not be for sale, it would make more sense if you could buy activity by donating to the forum. That way you're not filling the pockets of shady account sellers/farmers.

If you make good constructive posts and keep yourself active on the forums, you'll be a Full Member in no time. Just make at least 14 posts every 2 weeks and around 3 to 4 months (if I'm correct) you'll have a rank higher enough to get paid some good Bitcoins at signature campaign. Good luck!

Very nice video! I love that finally major banks are taking into consideration the power of the blockchain and it's potential uses... Saw this in another thread today and thought it relates to this topic.

Though the CEO is remaining somewhat skeptical about all of this, it's a huge improvement... and would be a huge step forward, especially in the US if JPMorgan jumps on board with this.

Yeah, but you have to think... most of people now and days have the attention span of a mosquito. So a short, and to the point video that explains the implications of what the blockchain is about and what it could mean for the future of businesses, stocks, banks, voting, etc. is a very good thing.
I would guess so, but it seem to me like most people would not even understand what the video wish to say. For people with basic knowledge of transaction methods, i'm sure this would be a great help but this video would not explain much to people who know pretty much zilch.
