Agreed. Bringing XLC to another exchange isn't going to change anything. If no one is buying XLC on Bittrex (which is now larger in volume than poloniex) what makes people think it will change on mintpal? it won't.

Hopefully we'll have a faucet up within the coming days. I have pledged 400 XLC to the faucet (more if needed).

I've been in contact with Bill. XLC is on the chopping block again so I have respectfully requested for him to extend XLC's life on bittrex.

I have updated the ANN thread with graphics and more updated information. Also a XLC > XBC trade in scheme could be on the table. Something where the two currencies can become more interchangable.

I'm going to look into some services which would require spending XLC. But also right now we need people trading XLC on Bittrex. Especially how rapidly Bittrex is growing, we want to stay on that exchange.

More than one person has access to this account so I am speaking only for myself (XBCplus). I only delete posts which are blatant lies or are off topic. That is it. Sometimes people will find that their posts were deleted because they were responding to FUD. Although I appreciate their efforts, I would rather not steer off topic so I would delete the lot so there is no 'bias'. This ANN thread is about development discussion, not "my coin is better than your coin" wars etc. It is counter-productive and it looks bad for people who genuinely come to this thread seeking more information on XLC.

I was not being held up directly from the XBC wallet, but people I needed to talk to about XLC were being held up by the XBC wallet. So it indirectly was affecting XLC progress.

DEV UPDATE

Hi everyone, sorry for the confusion over the last few days. I had been posting with my XBCplus account but the posts were being deleted. Seriouscoins confirmed via pm that he was deleting them because it is making some people in the XBC community uncomfortable (we both have the XBCplus password). So I will respect their wishes. That is probably why it seems like I have been away for so long.

I can confirm that intothelite will be helping with the promotion side of XLC (more exchanges, IRC, twitter, fb etc). This is in no way a revival, it is just part of the development process. XLC is far from dead. We're currently assessing different strategies for XLC. Including more exchanges

I don't think it makes sense to create another profile with forum restrictions when I can easily continue using XLCplus. What is the point?

X11 clone Rumors -

I am in no way associated with litecoin11 or bitcoin11 (whatever they're called), I have made it clear that XLC and XBC are it. I would even go as far as saying they are scams and to not invest in them just to prove to you all that I am not involved. Although I do not know the devs plans (genuine or not).

Thread updated. I am halfway through the bounties. Therefore I am almost ready to add some more! Please make any suggestions on what you would like to see (I've got some ideas, but I want to hear from the community).

At the time of writing it would only cost 2 BTC to be second on the rich list (giving you almost 10% of the supply!). Everyone has an opportunity to achieve a solid position in XLC. Just like when I warned everyone that it only cost 1 BTC for 1% of all XBC (later becoming 2% after the destruction). I don't know too many coins where you can gain such a large position for so little.


I'll be messaging Gliss to list XLC on coinmarketcap.com today.

I am through around 40% of all the outstanding orders. This does not include the daily 2-5 people still messaging this account (when I have repeatedly stated to contact XBCplus). When I have a spare hour or so i'll send mass messages out to these people from XBCplus if there is still some XLC left.

Bittrex have expressed their interest with adding XLC. This is probably because of the volume XBC witnessed and the incredible demand for XLC from the community. I need to inform them of my intentions very soon.

DEV UPDATE

Okay there was a very silly mistake looked over on the XLC wallet (it only affected the dev wallet so none of you would have noticed. The issue is that the dev wallet had all of the coins in them... I worked on this for an entire day to try and remedy the problem, although it could not be fixed. I am releasing a new updated wallet that everyone is required to upgrade to. It will be available in the OP very soon (I will mark it as 'NEW').

I have made a spreadsheet of all the investors so far (which is why I haven't replied to new investors as I need to take care of those who have trusted me with their BTC already). Please expect a PM soon. As for the people who have messaged XBCplus, also expect a reply once I have handled the initial investor payouts.

I have someone hired to spruce up the ANN thread and a lot of people have contacted me to help promote, this is great! This time I will be doing a FULL financial statement so there is no room for rumors. Expect an exchange within a few days (for those who want escrow).

I don't want to bring stale bread up to the surface but a lot of people don't know what is going on.

No one will be able to prove it because there is nothing to prove. I never stated the XBC 'ipo' was going to the dev fund. In crypto land, ipo is a loosely described meaning to distribute the supply (especially with the rise of POS coins). A LOT of coins use this term on bitcointalk and rarely do they intend the actual meaning. My apologies.

It was clear from the beginning that the 47,500 XBC that everyone voted to destroy was meant to be the dev fund. This information was on the voting thread, in IRC and on the poloniex trollbox. At the time of destruction, this was over $200,000 USD worth.

DEV UPDATE

- Instructions on how to buy into the IPO are on the first page at the top. You need to message "XBCplus" for XLC. I physically cannot get through all of the orders on this account as it makes me wait 5 minutes between messages. I have 5 pages of requests so think how long that will take...

- I have been primarily on the XBCplus account negotiating a fix to the clash between the XBC and XLC communities. I have apologized countless times and I have provided the facts (not rumors). This has settled a lot of people down and we are now working on reuniting the community. Expect an announcement about an exchange and development over the weekend.
