About stale shares. I switched from v10.4 to v11 and my stale shares are up quite a bit. Before i got roughly 3% of stales with v10.4 but v11 produces 7-10%. Ping is around 4-50ms . What gives ?
You should make the -li 1 default. It does have a major impact on temperature and I guess power usage with no meaningful decrease on hashrate. In fact Tahiti and Hawaii have no hashrate decrease at all. Ellesmere shows a decrease of 4 or 5 hashes.
I dont know about it. Tried -li 1 and it does really improve temps while keeping the hashrate the same, but now pool shows much less that before...
ASM does not work for R9 Fury with any intensity on 17.1.1 driver. Is this expected?
For the Fury's i would return to 16.3.2 drivers
This is not possible as it does not support RX series and i have a mixed rig. Still is there anyone that uses different drivers or have mixed rig either?
Bad idea to mix 14nm cards with 28nm cards.
Running 470-s, 290-s and 1070-s in the same rig, no problem at all.
To all having PSU issues/reboot/freeze/shutdown, I suggest keeping the same settings as in Clay V8, but modifying power limit in AB to 80% for each card, see if it happens. If it's stable, also check if hashing speed is lower. I am not at home to try this.
I resetted my underclock and it is still working. Claymore should fix this spiking issue, it's not normal.
Careful with this version, while people report no major power increase, if you ever watched the gpu power consumption in gpu-z, you will see that each card has a power spike when it finishes a share (or something in the same ballpark). If you take the avg power consumption, it might look ok for the PSU, but those spikes, if they are done at the same time on most or all GPUs, even a relatively good PSU will make the system freeze or even shutdown.
Just to confirm, there are some big PSU spikes happening.
Same here. I'm running 7 rx 480 on a single rig and had no problem with v.8. I've had to set -i 1 to stabilize the system. I'm using a Platinum EVGA psu, so its not that. Anyone have any insight?
How much power for the PSU? The fact that it's platinum means very little.
Well, my Platimax 1200 has problems ( freezes ) with 6 480's. No problem with 5 of them. PM shows 850 - ish @ the wall so not registering spikes
I have 1300w evga gold and with 3 470-s it crashes. With gpu-z i had ~63w and spikes up to ~98w

I'm having problems with power spiking. 3x 470 @.96v using v9 spikes from 280w to 360w and eventually crashes the whole system using i6. Is it just me? v8 spiked much less being stable @.96v
tryed already, nothing is working. stopped working. How can i include .conf file? And no f*n readme, how should i know what to do, am I Obi-wan-kenobi? Is someone going to walk me through or else i will just keep asking.
