I think bitcoin has proven that it is the superior asset for long term holding. Ethereum can be a runner up for the conversation. BUY BTC and hold unto oblivion!

My pals introduced me to Bitcoin back in 2018 and thought me how the real way to buy one since a lot of multi level marketing and scams are being made using bitcoin as their method of persuading people to give them money.

Just have a solid trading platform which is available in your location.
A solid hardware wallet or cold storage in which the private keys are in your possession esp if you gonna hold for long term
And patience, a lot of it!

Kucoin exchange doesn't mandate KYC to buy bitcoins. Have you tried it yet? Its still a CEX tho so you should have somewhere to put your bitcoins like a hardware wallet after your purchase.

ETH Seems to be a viable option to jump into. Lots of hype still surround the coin given that we still have phases of eth 2 release. And if it delivers with all of its promises and be widely adopted like its predecessor, the platform (and the coin) might go places.
