Ok I done with this Shit...

I and others have posted easy questions that EVERY business should be able to answer, unless they are kids having a lemonade stand  Angry

Referring to your customer support via email is nice but for god sake you should reply in that case...

I have been waiting for a reply for ages now HERE and VIA EMAIL....

Very unprofessional.

I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY

How about reading the white papers once and browse through this forum? I'm sure your questions have their answers here on this forum. You make references to kids, but you pretty much act like one.

No i don't. And your post shows that you did not even take the time to scroll back a couple of pages to actually read what my questions are about. With my small post count, it should have been more than easy to find the few posts I made in this thread.

But to safe you time my questions are about taxation, if there is the need to open up a legal entity if i want to conduct business with Giga based on the different type of options (renting out the space or operating my own miner), all under the premises of NOT being a US citizen nor green card holder.

I can operate my management and HQ in germany, place my miners in holland or sweden and oh shit, I need to open a legal entity in sweden or holland as well and not just in germany.
Even though I just rent/buy some electricity/space.
The miners would count as a production place and therefore the colocation (I placed the miners in) needs to make sure I am registered, otherwise they would support illegal activities in their halls.....

My questions are far deeper than the infos provided in some stupid white paper, where they explain how they will build the pods, rent out token, what value the tokens will have, where to buy and sell them or whatever general infos you can think off.

Every business should know what its customers shall be, and also check for their own security, if they allow or under what premises they conduct business with each customer.

There is a reason most banks stopped business relation with US citizen even though "it could be up to the client" to make sure everything is legal according to their laws.   If I conduct business with someone, I need to know if it can fall back on me because of some foreign laws... If you do not check that first before you start collecting money, its not just risky for the client (he can check that its legal according to the own laws) but also for the business and ALL shareholders.

If they get bankrupt because of lawsuits you wouldn't be happy to see your money gone because they conducted business with people they should simply not have done business with....

I don't think the mining operation falls into any jurisdiction because, as a miner, you are paid in virtual coins that are not regulated by any international law for the time being.

Is anyone currently mining with the L3's at Giga Watt? at today's valuation of LTC, what are estimated ROI's after maintenance, electricity, and hosting if you do not own tokens? I am considering a couple machines but trying to make sure I understand the current ROI structure (knowing full well that the numbers can and likely will fluctuate between now and September.)

with todays values on BTC/LTC, what ROI are customers seeing per machine? (S9 or L3).

What considerations are clients taking into account when considering deploying hardware at GW? major benefits I see are:

1. 24/7 maintenance by professionals
2. lower cost of operation / higher returns
3. Huh

The idea of essentially hiring professionals to operate "my" equipment and then having BTC drip into my account monthly is quite appealing. I just need to make the business case to myself.

With the facility being rather secretive, no address or phone number listed, payment only accepted via BTC, no refunds available (obviously) of tokens, how do we authenticate the legitimacy of it all?

Please excuse my naivety. this is a new market to me and I don't mean to be rude in the least.
1 LTC miner 504 mh/s                 $26.29                                    $24.93                                $1.36                                 93 days   or    62 days
10 LTC miners 5040 mh/s           $262.90                                   $250.72                             $12.18                                93 days    or    62 days
100 LTC miners 50400 mh/s       $2629.00                                $2523.41                            $105.59                               93 days    or    61.5 days

Page 30-32 I posted this.

This is already outdated as the LTC price increased to $46 now. Daily income for an L3+ miner is $44 -$2 hosting fee = $42 for current price.

I know but I'm thinking the difficulty will correct and bring it back down, but if it stayed the same as when I did that its almoat as easy as divide ROI by two

The difficulty will most likely see a more considerable increase at the end of July, when the first big batch gets delivered, then in September, when the next big batch is due delivery. Until then the price could go over $70 easily. As I see it, the price is preparing for difficulty correction ahead of time, which is pretty good.

what is ico

Really? We can't even use Google to search this? ICO = Initial Coin Offering - when a company issues a new type of coin that is tied to some sort of service the company is providing.

I don't know if anyone has already posted this here, but what do you think about this: https://blog.bitmain.com/en/gigawatt-infringement-announcement/
I'm also really interested in the mining ICO, but it gets some red flags appearently..;

GW used BITMAIN's logo to show they are partners on their site and mentioned Jihan was part of the team. That was in January 2017. Jihan asked them to remove the logo and also he stated he has nothing to do with the team. They removed everything they were asked. Of course Bitmain doesn't want to have anything to do with a company that aims at decentralized mining, which is everything Jihan is fighting against as we see with his ASICboosts and UAHF Bitcoin plans.

What being new to the site has to do with giving my opinion on something that everyone should look into before sending their money to a company that may end up causing them money at the end. They got their money after posting what was going on. 10 days is a long time. During that time they could have used the money invest it and make some profit out of it.

If the credit card has been reported stolen the transaction wont go through. Chargeback is something that every business must deal with every second. Do you actually think that Apple, Samsung and etc make less money because their customers are doing fraudulent transactions or because most of them are honest.

So let say you invest 10k in miners by sending coins to them and then you find out is all a scam, what government agency are you going to run to, to get you coins back? If you do a wire transfer you have no way of getting the money back even after explaining it to the bank. They have all the hands when it comes to making the transactions and you have none.

I bought an L3+ miner from them and there was a slight discrepancy between what they asked me to send and the actual BTC price, because there was a sudden increase of the BTC price in the time-frame of the scheduled payment. They agreed to refund the 0.05 difference. That to me proves they are not scammers. Also, the fact that their CEO is David Carlson should increase the confidence levels. Their customer support team is small at the moment and they are trying their best to deal with all the problems that might arise.

You said you transferred a small sum to test things out. How much exactly did you transfer?
Why are you asking? Does it matter?

If you transferred less than the price of a single WTT, why would they even bother with your withdrawal request?

Hello,
We have PM'd you. Let's try to resolve your situation ASAP as this is unacceptable from our side. We really apologize for such delay and awaiting your email to help you out.

Still no progress in processing my cashout. Can't understand why it takes so long???
When i do a transaction in BTC, i spend maybe 1 minute... You do it 16000 minutes already

Has anyone figured out if GigaWatt supports daily payouts?

If they are deducting their fees daily from your earnings, one might think they pay out daily.

Go here:  https://giga-watt.com/promo/steps  then scroll down a bit to the Pricing section.

It looks like what you mine is converted to BTC, if necessary, then managed from there.

They are doing daily payouts indeed, but from what the PR person told me on Facebook I understand that the payouts are in the coin specific to the miners you have. I bought an L3+ miner so I'm expecting payouts in LTC. Later on, when they expand the mining pool list (hopefully in September), I intend to switch to a profit-switching multipool that transforms daily payouts in BTC.

Do you only have bitcoin mining or altcoins either? i am interested in Zcash mining currently.

Only BTC / LTC / ETH atm. More to come soon, after they build most of the remaining Giga Pods (3 months from now maybe).

Why did you even send money to the account if you did not intend to buy tokens? This is not a scam, their support team is small and can't deal with all the problems atm.

Hi !  I want to mine Eth. Is it possible now ?
I read on the website that it sold out.
when do we start mining ? during the ico or after 31 july ?

They are out of stock for PandaMiners atm. The first batch of PandaMiners will be operative after July 31. They'll probably get more batches meanwhile, so keep an eye on their stocks.

In this Project, is it possible to buy mining equipment, miners? Or do we place our miner equipment in the facility personally?

You can buy what miners they have in stock from https://www.giga-watt.com/  They go out of stock pretty fast, so better watch when they restock whatever miners you want. At the moment they have S9 and L3+ in stock.

Can we choose what we mine?

For now, people can only mine BTC, LTC and ETH. As soon as they finish the token sale and build the rest of the facilities (probably 3 months from now) they are expanding the mining pool list so we can mine other coins as well.

what about this  https://blog.bitmain.com/en/gigawatt-infringement-announcement/  ?

I asked about that too. It's from January 2017. GW just used the BITMAIN logo and mentioned Jihan is part of their team. Jihan's lawyers asked them to delete all the BITMAIN logos and not include him in their team. Done, all settled, no more legal problems.

Of course BITMAIN wouldn't want to be associated with GW, beacuse GW aims at decentralizing the mining power, while BIMTAIN is all for centralization with their ASICboost hacks and whatnot.
