CATA project is about providing a decentralized storage to NFTs and other projects.

For NFTs the real challenges realted to data are it Storage, Retrieval and Security. There is no copyright protection mechanism on the interent as well as the decentralized storage solutions are pure storage with no query capability. All these things need to be addressed sooner so that we dont see any issue with NFTs.

The world of crypto/blockchain need a new decentralized storage or already available options are good enough is not a big concern these days. The real thing which most people are looking at the moment are what solution they are providing w.r.t flow blockchain. Let me know if admin can answer that.

They are offering too many features like XPAY, XNFT, XSWAP which is like developing a single platform which is a kind of single stop solution. But the real question is how they roll out the product. If they can develop what they are claiming then it will definitely have a moon shot.

CATA has also introduced the concept of decentralized database which is different then traditional databases used till date. CATA has introduced the concept of HDFS and Hadoop in designing its distributed system. The solution proposed in there paper is not implemented till date and it will be the first project to implement such thing.

The idea is innovative but the irony with this project is that we are hearing nothing about development news bout this project.

There only social media account is on twitter and there you can find only few retweets nothing about when can see at least there MVP.

This is very unfortunate that MASS after such a good start is abandon by its dev team. MASS has seen its ATH of 1.7$ also but is very much down these days. MASS support multiple instances of blockchain which is a big feature for industry looking to deploy DRAP based solutions.

You are mixing it up. IPFS is a different thing and CATA is totally different thing. The concept behind CATA is to build a storage system for NFTs specially that is decentralized in nature and this is something not available till date. Moreover, CATA is targeting Flow blockchain.

If you go through there website then its written that "One-stop storage solution for Metaverse with flexible metadata engine". I am very much sure that without addressing the performance parameter we cant achieve desired results with such project. I am also waiting to see how fast this solution will be.

NFTs are coming like a hurricance and those who are early adopters to this niche will be the ultimate winners in the long run. I just have a question from OP that in the title of this thread its written that CATA is middleware as well as Decentralized Cloud Storage. Can you explain this a bit?
