News like these is not good for the crypto world. They where going to celebrate the 3rd year anniversary of trading cyptos with no fees. Then how do you make money like that??? No fees but eventually they were probably going to steal your coins.

Tezos is a good one. Came in to see if it was in your list. It's not.

Is this a type of list that changes everyday? For example in coinmarketcap you have some coins that are being pumped, but that's only for that day.

It's very bad for those who bought at the top. Like myself. But instead of quitting it should just be an opportunity for myself to buy more at a cheaper price.

Google youtube-dl. That's consider the best. But you have to use command line.

For example, to downloard just the audio you have to type:

youtube-dl -f 140 [youtube address]

I don't like this at all. Specially with a company that has so many billions as Facebook, I see a lot of manipulation and a lot of regular people getting screwed.

Re: why people selling below ICO price and the future of ico ?

That's a good questions, and I sometimes wonder that. Why would someone say invest $1,000 into something, and then go on to sell it for $500. I'm guessing it's the market. They feel that there are better opportunity elsewhere.

For example the alt market it hurting, so it might be wiser to take your money out and put it in Bitcoin.

Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams
by

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

That's why it's best not to bother with ICOs, there are just too many scammers in this world, and an ICO is an attractive way of duping people. I just didn't realize it was this much. The worst thing is that such assholes have probably made millions off the hard work of others, mean while regular folks are suffering during this time.

I'm surprised that it's not as wide known as I thought it would be at this point in time. Bitcoin was everywhere last year, on the news, work, school. I figured by this time it would be a household name. And I don't understand how losing money would cause that, so I don't think that's the case.

I just think the majority of people do not follow world events.

I think it can definitely expands a persons mind and learn amazing things that they never could have imagined, but on the other side of the coin I feel that it can also cause a lot of depression, leading people to quit. And under such a state is understandable. You lost half your money, or all of it, and you feel like a complete jackass.

A lot of people are going to be in that boat and not learn anything from crypto.

Hello here, I came across this coin in social networking sites and I discovered that airdrop is still in progress. I registered my account last year but I have not been active on bitcointalk due to my busy schedule. Can I participate in this airdrop?

Yes you can if and when you manage to rise your activity leverl up to 28. This will take you one month probably though since you can rise only 14 points of activity every 2 weeks.

I don't think he can if his account has had no activity since last year. More than likely the privcy team will see it as a woken up account. Can't participate with a woken up account.

How can I see the daily volume for privcy on the crex? I do not see indicators showing this.
I am waiting for privcy on the CMC.
There is volumes in crex. Privcy doesn't has much. 0.4 BTC daily. To get listed on CMC you need to have $100.000 in 24 hours trading volumes, then they will list your coin.

They raised the bar high. So many coins wouldn't have been on cmc if they came out now. But it's a free market, the volume is what it is, and I think that eventually it will surpass 100k.

Re: Which ICO is better from the Three
by
Xintenson
on 17/07/2018, 05:54:59 UTC
First of all, these three projects have completed ICO crowd-funding.
Second,Zil may be better off if you look at the outlook, but it has gone up too much.
If you want a bigger return, I suggest you look for undervalued tokens.

I've never heard of Zilliqa and just looked it up. But it sounds like it's pretty popular so far. I checked and it's currently at number 28 in coinmarketcap.

But do you think it will go up? I mean what you said that Zilliqa might be better off, but it has gone up too much? But shouldn't that be the more important thing. It would mean that it's more stable and less risky.

Because they turn their brains off, logic off, when they start to dream of good opportunity that pays off. Most people do this for all sorts of things.

That comfort is never going to happen. Can you imagine sending say ten thousand dollars to someone. Putting in that address will be nerve wracking, because if you make a mistake, it's all gone. People will be more willing to hoard.

I mean just like anything it can be used for bad things. But you're sounding like the media back in the day, making it seem as if only money launderers are using it. As least that's how it's going to make it seem.
