Re: It might not be easy, you just have to let go
by
Xiroartoni
on 27/12/2018, 22:48:16 UTC
Year 2018 seems to have the most prolonged dip from what i have seen so far. Some people had serious loss along the line; some vowed never to invest in cryptocurrency again; some sold all their assets and left.
Your encounters though might seem not encouraging, but do you know that you are better of than the person that is just coming in, because of what you now know.
Let go of your mistakes, but whenever you remember them, tell yourself it is not yet over, the crypto space will still get better and you will be glad you're still in the system.
I am glad that I met such a person in spirit. You should never give up if something goes wrong. I started a year and a half ago. Success was not long in coming. But this summer I began to experience difficulties, which pushed me to start developing in this area further. I left some of my savings to approach the topic of cryptocurrencies with a new mind. I have confidence in the prospects of this sphere and I decided to devote the next few years to it. Friends, be cool with finances and they will give you what you are aiming for.

Re: I've just put ALL my student savings into TURTLECOIN ($50K)
by
Xiroartoni
on 27/12/2018, 22:41:20 UTC
Hello friends, I'm Johnny

In 6 months I'm graduating from high school with nice marks, excellent feedback from professors and all careers open for me. But you know what? I'm fucking out man. I'm not going to university. I've just invested my whole hard-earned student savings into Turtlecoin at 2 satoshis or roughly $ 0.00008 per turtle. My low-class parents hard worked for a good education for me and I've just spent the whole shit into something called Turtlecoin, ya know what I mean right?

The thing is that we've been discussing with my family during the last 3 fucking months about which fucking career to choose in order to make big fucking money when I'm old. Doctor, lawyer, broker, blah blah blah. All them promising careers but with a huge fucking initial cost and no real guarantee that's gonna provide me what I want to be: A FUCKING THUG LIFE MILLIONAIRE.

I mean which is the interesting part in being a millionaire after working 40 fucking years with a fucking narrow suit the whole time and obeying orders from superiors the WHOLE FUCKING LIFE?

There's no fucking point ya know what I mean--- So I decided to put those roughly $ 50K into the best promising crypto coin that I've found in these 3 months: TURTLE-FUCKING-COIN. No ICO, no premine, NO SHIT MAN! Such a nice community, nice fucking devs and nice fucking whales (hehe, I just found your plan  Wink).

I've been watching crypto for a year now and I've been deeply studying all the fucking cryptopatters outthere. Been reading the whole fucking dogecoin bitcointalk thread YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN?

It's SO FUCKiNG OVBIOUS that trutlecoin is gonna make a X100-X1000 from here in the next crypto bull run. THERES NO DOUBT. 0. When is it gonna come? 2 years? 3? 5? WHO THE FUCK CARES MAN, I'm just 17. in 5 years I'll just be 22 and with bigger pockets than my fucking penis, which is quite difficult honestly.

My parents obviously are so fucking angry right now. In fact, they're kicking my ass from home and from everything after I graduate from high school in 6 months. I understand em' and I accept it. I will start working on mcdonalds & other shit during these hodl years and I'm gonna do a lot of fucking shit till I get my reward. But ya know what? When I'm 22 I will buy a fucking mansion with my turtles, a fucking lambo, a fucking financial freedom, A FUCKING LIFE, while my classmates will end up with a fucking huge student debt and the fucking reality of our system punching their fucking faces. I'M OUT FUCK TAT

You can save this message, snapshot it. It's christmas day of the year 2018. Turtles are going to a cold wallet for the next 2-5 years. I'm going to start taking a fucking job in Mcdonalds.

And yes, remember that fucking thread and remember my name: I'M JOHNNY MCTURTLE, THE FUCKING LEGEND

What have I just read? Is this real? Sounds like some kind of madness. Even in the refrigerator the eggs are in separate cells. Wiser keeps refrigerator eggs! I will be happy for you if this turtlecoin will give you at least some profit. But the story is more like the story of a man who is addicted to slot machines. Usually this ends very sadly.

Hello,
I'm very sorry to hear about this. You may have some type of malware on your computer
that resulted in your funds being stolen because your private information was somehow
obtained. One of the most common types of these are browser extensions posing as
bitcoin price tickers that are actually stealing your account information. There's also the
possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as Blockchain. We've also heard of
computer viruses that detect when an address is in your clipboard, and replace the one you
wanted to use with an address controlled by this malicious party.
By design, Blockchain never has access to users' accounts or funds. If you keep your
password and private key backups secure, then your funds are always safe with us. Since
this information has been compromised, be sure to never use this wallet or any addresses
contained within it. I'd also highly advise against using the same password again. I'm truly
sorry that you had funds stolen from you. That certainly is an extremely frustrating
experience.
If you’d like to learn more about how our wallet works, please visit:
https://www.blockchain.com/learning-portal/wallet-faq.

Most likely you are caught by a virus that you received in the mail, or in another way. Don't trust your computer with various suspicious programs. Sometimes you can run into the brainchild of hackers who track your transactions or any other actions with cryptocurrency. For such things is to have a separate computer, which is used only for cryptocurrency. This will protect your capital from prying eyes.

Re: Where do you buy bitcoins?
by

I am looking for a few recommendations of places where I can go to buy Bitcoin with a credit card and has low fees. Can anyone recommend any good options?
Not so long ago I came across an online service called epayments. This is an online wallet in the likeness of kiwi or advcash. With it, you can buy bitcoins directly without interest on the Ukrainian exchange DSX. In addition, you can order a card that will store dollars. The Commission is only for the conversion into your currency. You can use the card all over the world.

Re: Let me be clear to you, this is not a Bear Martket!
by
Xiroartoni
on 26/12/2018, 23:22:37 UTC
for all outsiders that enter this,

you have to understand that the current claim that bitcoin suffers from a "bear market" is absolutely wrong.

the bitcoin founders in their unlimited greed tried to push the price as high as possible, but ultimately wasted, aquired all possible support they were able to obtain.

without potential new kapital to attract they are now in a stuck situation, as they cant attract new capital anymore to push the value of their beloved "bitcoin"

this stagnation combined with the automatic liquidity loss (miner electricity and infrastructure bill) leads to a slow drain out of capital for bitcoin.

but thats not all, they also are trapped in a death spiral, as people that use bitcoin as a currency, will pay it to someone who doesnt share their "investor confidence"

through the existing deathspiral the bitcoin "earners" then sell their bitcoin in the market again which leads to a continueing collapse in value.

the whole story about "bear market" is just wishthinking or worse deliberate satisfaction, or moral stabilisation procedures to keep intact their "community".

from a socioeconomic perspective of bitcoins situation

according to logic, you are never in a bearmarket, but in reality in a support loss spiral

regards
What have I just read? Where such conclusions? I understand that there are people who manipulate the price of assets, but they are not stupid enough to drive themselves into a corner. I know a lot of people who recently bought bitcoins for the first time. This suggests that the inflow of capital is possible and it will be. The circle of people who know and buy bitcoin is still very small, but it is growing steadily.

Re: What is the obstacle of Bitcoin?
by
Xiroartoni
on 25/12/2018, 18:28:58 UTC
the price of bitcoin has been changing dramatically, and many people have invested in bitcoin. And they get a generous return. these stories attract more people to join Bitcoin. in my opinion, this is precisely an obstacle. It is an obstacle for Bitcoin to be used on a large scale. It requires a stable value for a currency that is used on a large scale.
I believe that the main restriction on the use of bitcoin is the public. She is not ready to accept this new technology. Plus the state put a spoke in the wheel. For further introduction into public life, cryptocurrencies and their technology must go through many stages of development. No good technology is not implemented immediately. Look at the history of cars, phones, computers, etc. Will be 3-5 years and we will see the results of the implementation of cryptocurrency into public life. I think these results will be positive.

Re: Merry Bitcoin Xmas to all you Hodlers!

I just want to say, Merry Xmas to all my fellow Bitcoin hoarders. I know we are from different countries with different religions and beliefs, but we have one thing in common and that is the belief in Bitcoin.  Wink

I hope you did not spend too much bitcoins on Xmas gifts and food for the festive season and if you did, please buy back in on the dip.  Grin

Have a great Xmas and let's stay strong in this season where spending pressure are at it's peak!

Ho Ho Ho, Hodle on!!!!
It is necessary to be a short-sighted person to spend cryptocurrency now. It should only accumulate and accumulate. At this point, I think it's a good idea. We must understand that cryptography is just beginning and all the best will be ahead. Friends, keep your coins and you will be happy!

Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency?
by
Xiroartoni
on 25/12/2018, 18:17:15 UTC
One part of people wants fast and easy money. However, when they begin to suffer losses, they are disappointed in cryptography. Another part of people see great prospects in this market and begin to develop it. The third part of people uses cryptocurrencies for convenience, because they get paid in cryptocurrency. There are hackers who don't care what they steal. The main thing that was a lot. But all this would not have happened without people who buy currency in the hope of its growth and earnings on it.

Re: Thinking about sell? Or invest more?
by

on 25/12/2018, 17:53:55 UTC
Market going into the profound feeling of anxiety such a large number of individuals are befuddled about what they do with the present market circumstance.

Since no one knows when the market will begin in up position. In any case, as indicated by my supposition, this time isn't of Selling simply pause and watch the market and appreciate this time with your family on the grounds that in a couple of months the market will start up the incline. So this time no compelling reason to offer.

Be that as it may, in the event that you need to put more cash in Crypto showcase this is a perfect time.

in the realm of cryptographic money advertise HOLD isn't too terrible its a decent advance for its fore. since the present digital money showcase is balancing out the cost of bitcoin with its other altcoin. since around then bitcoin plunged and altcoin additionally follow-up because of G20 issue yet numerous nations that claim bitcoin and his companions were affirmed in a few nations.

also, it's a decent move since all the of all shapes and sizes financial specialists are cheerful to hear that it's probable that numerous speculators are reinvesting their assets into the cryptographic money showcase so if it's called this time it's great to reinvest if there's more capital or hold if reinvested in cost up from now.

No one will ever know where the bottom will be. Only market makers can do that. However, if you study technical analysis, you can understand when to buy and when to sell. The easiest way to buy bitcoin is to use the ladder method. That is to buy and sell parts. Thus, you average the value of coins and reduce the risk of loss of funds in sharp jumps.

Re: It's time to sell
by

on 20/12/2018, 19:05:53 UTC
I'm not spreading FUD and everyone is free to do whatever he wants. After all, it's your money.

What I'm suggesting here is to take all the tokens and coins you're holding and start reading the whitepaper, check the roadmap, see the team behind that project and how active the developers are is by looking at the GitHub repository. If it's not looking that good, don't think twice, just go and sell regardless of initial buy price because you'll be cutting your losses this way.

I understand that saying "hodl" is nice etc but you should use your brain and don't be blinded by the idea that every useless out there will go to the moon. Only a few are worth investing in so instead of holding random coins, you may want to target something that has been here for a long time and still doing well such as ETH, BTC.
Great thoughts. Your would thought all, who bought or wants to buy cryptocurrency. As sad as it sounds, most newbies don't do these simple things. They are too lazy to read, to study, to think. They want everything at once. As a result, after some time there are people who moan that all lost. Even if you hear that the cryptocurrency is a Scam, then study the topic yourself and draw your conclusions. Not everyone is destined to make money in this market.

Re: Will the crypto market recover?
by

on 20/12/2018, 19:00:52 UTC
Very often people think with money, not brains. In this regard, when a lot of people buy / invest in something that is very actively growing in price, hoping for an even greater price. Almost no one has any idea how such markets work. Many are uneducated financially and therefore suffer losses. If we talk about bitcoin, it has a great and promising future. You shouldn't listen to anyone. They are specifically talking crap and nonsense to throw people off and to buy more of it. Buy and keep the cue ball. Such prices you will not see)))

The Ethereum platform is the largest for creating other projects. In relation to the Ethereum traded a lot of other currencies. Do not underestimate this coin. If I were you, I'd buy it on a par with bitcoin.

Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
The fact that you have lost your investment money does not mean that erc-20 tokens have no future. The other day I saw one project, which gave the price of x44 from the price of ICO. It is worth considering the fact that now enter the market on the strength of about 5% of all new projects. Not upset. Better invest in time-tested coins.

When we see the market situation of  the last year, we will see market was continuously pumping mode but now market is very critical situation and already and continuously dumping and dumping so too much peoples are very disappointed about the market situation, few days ago i heard a bad news from some of my FB friend who have lost all most 60k dollar and i have lost 1k dollar also. So i am really afraid about crypto market. I need concentration to the experts and have a question is crypto market will reach the previous situation as well as grow up and reach new value. I humble request to the experts please give your opinion. Thank You.
Your friends are weak and do not understand anything about cryptocurrency. Don't listen to anyone, don't panic. Tonight I saw positive signs in the price of bitcoin. I am not sure that this is the beginning of a reversal, but I know for sure that bitcoin has a future and it will still show itself. Keep it, don't sell it.

Bro, try it through the exchangers. In my opinion, you do perversion with such a small amount. Better buy yourself bitcoin for the amount equivalent to the amount of Ethereum in $. You will spend more % on all transactions, in the end you will have nothing left.

Traders would be familiar with the saying “ buy when there is blood on the streets “ this is the best time to load up on oversold and undervalued crypto.  My bag is ready to load up on more Canyacoin CAN
About purchases during drawdown prices I agree. But why would you buy just one coin for your entire Deposit? I think it's a big risk. Choose at least 3-4 more coins to diversify risks. Perhaps the profit will not be so high, but with an unexpected landing you will lose less. In addition, it is always desirable to have bitcoin and Ethereum coins already established in the market in the portfolio.

Re: What are your key reasons of choosing a particular exchange for trading?
by

on 18/12/2018, 12:32:28 UTC
Hello,
1. What are your personal the must-haves for an exchange to be of any interest to you?

2. Is low volume and liquidity a big "no go" to you? Or do you approach such exchanges as potential interest for market making or arbitrage (small exchanges are responding to volatility slower and this may give some good arbitrage opportunities), etc.

ps: we are launching a new crypto-to-FIAT exchange (starting with /EUR pairs) and would love to get tips from the crypto community on their needs in order to built durable exchange.

Thanks in advance,
Art
I try not to trade assets with a small trading volume, as it is more difficult to sell them when there is an urgent need. Most often I trade pairs with btc, eth and usd. I don't see any liquidity on the other pairs, so there is no sense to trade them. Perhaps in a year the situation will change and people will trade on more currency pairs.

Hello everyone!
I am relatively new to the crypto, but I am willing to explore and learn!
I would like to ask for some general advices on how to learn the trading process of crypto and how to get started! Would appreciate all the replies!
Hello, future colleague. First, find the most popular and interesting coins. This forum and the coinmarketcap website will help you to do this. Next, study the fundamental analysis of these coins and decide what you want to buy. In the process of studying the information you will understand more about this market. In the future I advise you to study technical analysis. This will help you to increase your Deposit regardless of the market situation. If you give it enough time, then in the future you will become a real specialist.

If you are afraid to trade, then you are afraid to learn. In the bear market, you can also make good money. Do not be afraid of falling downtrend. On the contrary, you need to grab any moment and increase the number of your assets. If you do not know how to do it, then study some material. There are a lot of ways to make money in a falling market. You will find enough information on this forum. Good luck)
