I think, there's no right time to buy bitcoin, if you believe that the price will rise, then buy!

The price will always be volatile, it will still depend on the demand even if the last block has been mined.

Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment?
by
Xzhyte
on 10/03/2018, 13:31:05 UTC
Well, before trying to convince them to invest in cryptocurrency, you must make them understand the risks involved in investing and also the reason why crypto markets are so volatile. In that case, you will not be blamed for their loss  and they will not be surprised when the market goes down.

Re: What is better Trade or Invest?
by
Xzhyte
on 08/03/2018, 15:53:58 UTC
Both are good choices but I prefer trading over investing specially on ICO's, investing carries a higher risk that you may lose your money, since you are not fully assured that the project you invested in would work or isn't a ponzi sheme. Trading also carries a high level of risk but at least, every move you make is your decision, your money's value may decrease but it wont be gone like when you invest. Although not all icos are frauds there are also lots of good ones that will surely give some profits in the long run.

Re: KYCs (Know your Client) is killing crypto
by

I guess it is a government requirement to oblige big exchanges to have KYC. I don't think KYC is a bad thing, unless you plan to use your money on evil things. Also, in order to achieve mass adoption, regulation is a must, and KYC is one of the stages to achieve it.

Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin?

Well, I hope the dream come true one day - be it free 5 BTC or 600 USD per Bitcoin.

Well, both of your hopes back then already came true by now, it even exceeded 600 usd and now more than 10k, that's a way higher price. Also, you've been a part of this community for a long time, I'm pretty sure you earn quite a lot already by any means. It may not be on a form of free 5 bitcoins but I guess you already acquired a lot more that that by now.

Well, every aspect of bitcoin is quite essential and has really contributed in my life but the most important aspect for me is that it can be a great source of income. There are lots of ways to earn bitcoins with only little investments, you can earn even with a smartphone and internet connection. It really helped me and my family in our financial status, and I'm thankful that bitcoin existed.

Re: Is banking still important in the bitcoin era?
by
Xzhyte
on 06/03/2018, 07:17:11 UTC
of course, the bank has its own role in a country, its small example as a container for lending capital, other credits and as its, even though the development of crypto world is very rapid, but the bank has its own role, and they will not close the company, maybe later them will follow also the current development of the crypto world

Yes, banks has a big role in the community and in the financial markets. Even though bitcoin is widely adopted, it doesn't mean that banks will lose their worth. I believe that banks and cryptocurrencies can co-exist and will work just fine with existing banks in the future,

Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin?
by
Xzhyte
on 05/03/2018, 08:14:24 UTC
I think it's not advisable to quit your job and just focus on bitcoins because the price will never be stable. However if you already had lots of bitcoin earnings and has a business or other sources of income, you may quit your job. I actually have some friends that became rich because of bitcoins and is considering to quit their job already.

Re: Most cryptocurrencies will crash to zero
by

on 05/03/2018, 07:55:44 UTC
Yes, I read an article that says 46% of cryptocurrencies last year are already dead. There's a lot of factors that affects the prices but I think that the most common issue is the security of the project since most project fails because it was hacked of had some major faults in the project that makes investors loose faith in it.

Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long
by
Xzhyte
on 03/03/2018, 23:01:03 UTC
Well, lots of things may happen and it is possible that ETH or another coin might surpass bitcoin in the future. But then, I guess it wont happen this year, the gap is really wide and we couldn't expect any coin to surpass it this year. Also, the market is depending on bitcoin price and it will be very hard for another coin to take over.

on 03/03/2018, 15:25:08 UTC
It's the same here in our country, the government is open with the use of cryptocurrency but is on the process of analyzing it to make some regulations. The government and media always warning people about the risk of cryptocurrency but not entirely negative about it.

Re: Bitcoin should continue to stay in a low price?
by
Xzhyte
on 03/03/2018, 15:14:44 UTC
Well, that will never happen. Bitcoins price will always rise and fall because of its fixed supply.  As bitcoin is getting more popular, many people are investing to it thus making the price go up. Whenever the price go down a bit, many people are afraid that it will drastically go down so they sell their holding and makes the price go down further.

Not just bitcoin but the cryptocurrency as a whole. It's a good idea but it must be taught to students in the age that they can fully understand and adopt on the cryptocurrency world.

by

If it reaches 100k, I wil definitely sell most of my holdings because even though it exceeds 100k I'm pretty sure that it wont hold that heights for long. It will go down hard as it usually does and then I'll buy more again on the bottom of the dip.

Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin?
by
Xzhyte
on 02/03/2018, 23:38:08 UTC
My plan is to keep on earning bitcoins and altcoins and convert some of it to fiats to be deposited on banks to safeguard my money. Once I reached a sufficient amount to buy my own land, I will then save money to build my own house. I also plan on investing on stock markets to further increase my earnings.

Re: Reasons Why We Should Love Bitcoin
by

Aside from what you said, I also love bitcoin because it gave me an opportunity to earn money even though I'm just a student. I can now buy things I like and save some for my future. It made me experience trading and investing which I think is normally done by adults. It opened a new world for me to explore and I'm really happy to learn more about it.

Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?
by
Xzhyte
on 27/02/2018, 18:16:13 UTC
Well I think they are not negative about bitcoin, the thing is they are exaggerating the risks involved in using cryptocurrencies and not stating the good effects of it to the people. They are always warning the audiences with exaggerated reasons not to invest.
