Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency
by

PPS has nothing to do with the fucking rate of paying primes you find, it has been said over and over again not to trust it or use it as a bench marking tool && pick a client stay with it and count how many paying primes you find in a week then dribble about client + HW = avg rate of paying primes - factored in variable loss otherwise don't even waste your energy trying && forget what you know about other coin algos and stop comparing it to others && stop setting rpcuser and passwords for a fucking built in miner client &&  use the fucking search feature for the forum before asking your lazy questions filling up a dev thread with junk so people that are busy have no way of surfing it all to get the valuable info && understand its pretty much a WIP, "research" is the quote && learn to build your own windows clients its interesting and would make a great thread && go and try to get the bfgminer going its much more productive then trying to figure out why you sometimes get paying primes and sometimes not after not even a week of a brand new unfinished coin && ITS NOT FUCKING HASHING!!! && stop worrying about fucking bonnets and gpu farms its pointless you just look like a misinformed tool not to mention un original, if the diff goes up and the paying primes are slow then the value should go up...if it dosn't then fuck off and find something else to do to make money....play kenny rogers the gambler and learn something && if your client is following the blockchain and it lines up with the fucking block explorer and you can see cpu action for the client then you're priming and you will eventually get a payout...

My GA 7970OC output 255khash using latest v7 .cl file. Anyone has higher hash?

 Getting 252 with a Dual x 7970.

i see you on yacp.coinmine.pl, how many cards are you running?

Changed a few settings with dual x 7970 and found 5 blocks in 1.5 hours..think I might solo for a bit Smiley

Your welcome to mine at http://Pool.Yacointalk.com , come pump it for a bit and get payed out in 70 confirms and watch your stats on your mobile with our mobi web ui

Something ive noticed with one cg miner on our pool is he is pumping out up to 80% of his shares invalid so make sure you guys set it right before you leave.
Most do but this miner pumping  up to 20% of round shares with invalids, pushing it to the limit or testing a kernel i guess

Re: How do I mine Yacoin?
by

on 27/06/2013, 16:13:43 UTC
It's very simple, just run:
minerd_scrypt_jane_x86_x64\x64\minerd_scrypt_jane_x64_ssse3.exe -a scrypt-jane -o http://pool.bitcn.org:8336 -u YourYACOINaddress

I jsut want to install scrypt_jane successfully. I cant seem to find the info on how to properly do that

Hey buddy if you follow this link to our pool there is some links to miners to maybe help with your "installing scrypt-jane" problem one is for cpu and one if for gpu http://Pool.Yacointalk.com/index.php?page=gettingstarted

shame for your pool - again connection errors frequent, like when it was P2P (every hours approx.).. otherwise would be very nice place to mine..

what is going on ?

What does this "-jane" means? Is it some other script miner or what?

I cant connect to pool with regular old gpu miner for yac..

one of the cpuminers you can use for it is on the "Getting Started" page of the pool site

adding gpuminer to the page also and can be found here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=232241.0

And so on. I have also noticed this using simple auto tune but found i was seeing those rises from 80-80khs to 130 ALOT less than with the settings im using now and also the fan speed would go up and down with short bursts of work followed by a lot of idling. Also when viewing GPU usage in process hacker it only shows crss.exe utilizing my gpu with the following string, but its still fairly minimal GPU usage.

%SystemRoot%\system32\csrss.exe ObjectDirectory=\Windows SharedSection=1024,20480,768 Windows=On SubSystemType=Windows ServerDll=basesrv,1 ServerDll=winsrv:UserServerDllInitialization,3 ServerDll=winsrv:ConServerDllInitialization,2 ServerDll=sxssrv,4 ProfileControl=Off MaxRequestThreads=16

Im in a core i7, 12gb of ram with a gtx 560 ti and using a proper power supply so the gpu isnt lacking.

Any and all suggestions or comments on what is going on and how i can remediate it fto get things a bit more steady would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can i suggest, if you are mining with a cpu at the same time then lower the cores used by one and test again, so on and so forth. i notice mine fluctuates like this and because i have the fans set to run at a temp it reaches when its at full load i notice it switches off alot and came to the conclusion i wasn't allowing the cpu to feed it info.
Might not be your prob but worth a shot
