Re: TRON and ETHEREUM
by
Yaddady
on 14/12/2018, 11:34:12 UTC
today, we see that TRON continues to increase the power and ETH loses the status of the second best crypto.

now ETH is difficult to make trading volumes of $ 2 million per day, so CEO Tron said that ETH value in 2017 is only part of HYIP.

what do you think about this battle?
Do you see good waves for TRON or ETH?

would you like to give me the full link about The words from the CEO of tron buddy..
because i think eth value in 2017 is not a hyip,, this is pure demands,,
if i'm not worng last year most of ICO project use ethereum platform, and thats the main causes why ethereum price growing hard in last year

I don't subscribe to the fact that ETH value in 2017 was hyip, neither do I think the price increase it enjoyed was subject to demand. ETH mostly enjoyed the bull run of Bitcoin in 2017, and it equally explains why there's been a drastic drop in the price from it ATH

Saw this on twitter and it almost sums up how it's going to play out. Nothing to expect in 2019 really and it's better that hopes aren't kept high in order not be overly disappointed.

This is plain addiction and nothing more, but it's hilarious all the same. Honestly the current state of affairs of the market is one that leaves you wondering how much lower we have to go till we bottom out. So if you sell your girlfriend to buy more alts now, I'm you wont be looking to sell your other most priced possessions to buy again when the market dips even further way below your entry prices and you need to average down

0x is a great coin and the devs are very active, one of the reasons it succeeded in getting listed on Coinbase. Just like every other coin out there, it got a beating by the current bears market situation. I'm still hodling over 6000 units which I bought on Binance. I'm still looking to buy more at prices lower than the current one

Re: Aren't we killing the market ourselves?

Most people are here complaining about the dip in crypto and asking when the market is going to recover, yet they are the same people busily dumping all their holdings hard on exchanges. Who should continue holding and stabilize the market for you? Don't be a selfish investor.

You can not decide for people when to sell their coins, especially as you don't manage their portfolio for them. Everyone has a motive for investing in crypto and none is wrong since it's their money. If anyone decides to capitulate at this time, they shouldn't be blamed because in the end no one will share their loses with them. Investments like you should mentioned shouldn't be done with sentiments and emotions. This is a free entry and exit market, at least that's why we're all here.

Re: How do I find quality traders?
by

on 11/12/2018, 10:20:10 UTC
There is a Korean exchange whose airdrop campaigns MemberPass is working on. I think they have a great model with transaction fee mining. I believe this type of exchanges will be around.

My question is where do the quality traders hang out? What motivates you to join a new exchange?

There are a lot of factors that lure traders to an exchange, ranging from the security of funds on the exchange, low fees, and volume. Some other lures could be freebies and some trading competition.

Re: Regret!
by

Does anyone else regret that hasn't invested in certain Altcoins that now rose 400-800%? Because I regret it a lot. :|

Of what need is the regret when you cannot turn back the hands of time? It's okay to reminisce the good old days in crypto when little investments were giving massive gains. But the truth remains that those days are gone now and mind you the level of crypto awareness is higher now and so you have more people in the space now. Secondly, the journey to restoration and growth from this current levels will take a considerable long time, so don't expect those days to return so fast.

Re: What are your key reasons of choosing a particular exchange for trading?
by
Yaddady
on 10/12/2018, 14:58:15 UTC
Like it's been stated already, I mostly look at the security of my funds. Don't want no exchange where I wake the next day and find they've been 'hacked' and my money is gone. Then I look at the liquidity and volume of the exchange, then fees come last.

Re: What low market cap alts are you investing in?
by
Yaddady
on 10/12/2018, 08:56:44 UTC
I'm not sure I really bother myself with low sats coins that much in my choice which coins to invest in. Personally, I focus more on coins with projects that have very active devs and an active community. This for me is more important than investing in a low sats coin that has no active team and aren't constantly churning out updates about the project

Re: Ethereum price dump
by
Yaddady
on 10/12/2018, 08:24:12 UTC
ETH like most all other coins have been on a downward spiral due to the prevalent market conditions. But ETH has been really hit because a lot ICOs performed poorly this year, scam ICOs also had an adverse effect on it as a lot of them dumped the ETH they generated during their token sales on the exchanges.

by

on 09/12/2018, 22:21:58 UTC
I think at some point ICOs will be regulated, they might not be open to the general public for investment like it is now. But again, ICOs will only be as good as the performance of BTC and by extension ETH which most alts depend on. If BTC does well in the market, ICOs will on the other hand do well too, this will be inverse for a dwindling market like we currently have

by

I love this strategy, but this bears market condition has left most people clueless at to how to even go about organizing their portfolios. Some almost have nothing left as they've drowning in huge loses. The current bears situation is far from over, so it's difficult to even plan now. Maybe when the market stabilizes again, one can think of a strategy going forward

Re: BIGGEST DROP without a clear reason for it --> MARKET MANIPULATION
by
Yaddady
on 08/12/2018, 16:03:35 UTC
I guess this has become a norm in this space. Before now or rather, when I got into this space in 2017, there was always clear reasons there were price drops, sometimes it was mere corrections, as it was touted. But the current price levels is one which is beyond explanation and any clear reason. Here we are still experiencing further drops with no specifics of where the bottom is gonna be at. This is obviously a manipulation and it goes to show how long it would take before cryptos go mainstream.

I think ETH isn't done with the price shedding. It's still bound to go lower to maybe a single digit, not sure how low now, but it's sure to happen.

I think that we see a good example of manipulation.
Few weeks ago CEO of Bitmex Arthur Hayes said that Ethereum is useless coin with value under 100USD.

I think I agree with this. There's some serious price manipulation going in this at this time and these guys don't care if people lose money. Arthur Hayes made that comment a few weeks back and the current price reflects those comments. Some have even predicted ETH going as low as $2.

Re: Bitcoin dominance ruining the market
by
Yaddady
on 06/12/2018, 09:15:18 UTC
The term "Bitcoin dominance" is made possible participants in the market have enabled it. When the market gets hit, people sell their alts in exchange for Bitcoin. This further increases the dominance of BTC as people see it to be more stable than most others coins out there.

The same BTC dominance you feel is ruining the market is what alts feed on. When Bitcoin increases in price or enjoys a price surge like it did in 2017, altcoins benefit alongside. This is why most alts attained their ATHs 2017, it wasn't necessarily because of their fantastic, but because the market is very liquid and BTC was the driving force. Heck, even shitcoins were mooning too

Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies released by CMC
by
Yaddady
on 06/12/2018, 08:35:12 UTC
CMC has recented released the Top 10 Cryptocurrencies and the result is surprising.

XRP has beaten Ethereum.
Steller has beaten Bitcoin Cash.
Tron has beaten Cardano

What do you think?

Did CMC release a list of top 10 coins?

Do they ever do such thing?

Saying that released a list sounds like they dropped a list of they think are top 10 cryptocurrencies, which isn't the case.

These coins you've mentioned are on the positions they are on CMC based on their marketcap and trade volume, and as far as I know, those positions aren't permanent. The crypto space is highly volatile, and you find coins shuffling positions at given times based on the amount of attention they're getting at the time.

Re: Top-10 situation
by

Most of the top 20 or so coins are a bit misplaced due to the current state of the market. So it's a bit hard to tell which of them are top. Imagine XRP displacing ETH in second and has remained there for weeks now. XRP is one of the coins that I fancy, not necessarily because of the tech, but because it's a money spinner sometimes.

Re: How to profit from the market, bulls or bears
by

Staying away from trading at this time is the best for sanity. Not a lot of momentum in trades these days, so easy for the market to go against you. I'll rather preserve my capital than lose it to uncertain trades.
