This sounded like fun for a minute, but only a minute. once a thinking person puts the numbers to it, it falls apart like a bad ERC20 ICO.

Look for Tati and RaiLai to fill the posts with bullshit and distrcactions while lying about the true nature of the coin.

nobody is interested because its a top down scam with the creator owning all of it and the miners being a bunch of low iq idiots trying to drum up support. but no exchange would ever takes this on because its owned by an anonymous scammer with a shady history. all it can ever do is trade on some bad exchange where there is no volume.

Its a very easy and clear scam. there is 0 interest in the coin so the plan of late has been to pretend there is a community on discord and telegram, that's why all these scammers are pulling you away from here with rewards codes and other nonsense. its truly flawed and a scam and i feel sorry for the few that are so stupid to not be able to see between the lines.

Remove the 3 scammers pumping it and this coin isn't even alive.

Ok, it has half the premine of ETH. So it must be a scam.
And it is growing only more than 20 % each validation, so it seems to be realy dead.

Long time no news. Anything changed huh? Unlikely, I think.
They very often update the wallet, fixing some bugs (but not saying which are Wink ). But the network has really become more stable.
They again demand funding for suspicious / irrelevant stuff which is never gonna come out. telegram bot? wtf is that and why do u need money for that. I u were not that dumb u would configure ur voting bot themselves in seconds. And money they require is gonna be appropriated / used for shopping in walmart.
Require funding from the community, given the fact that the developers have 36,000,000 coins premined ?!
It is either arrogance or scam.

Just think
36,000,000 premined coins!
And if you want to buy them directly from the developer, they will ask you for 0.1 dollars for 1 coin.
36 million premine to 0.1$ price at this moment(i asked to buy from team and they offer me DNA to 0.1$) means 3,6 million . I think is too much for a project like this. So it is a sign of scam for me. DYOR!
Developers valued their project at $3.6 million, but money for some bot, some active individuals collect from the community.

So ask your dev andrew idena about this
There are two community based developments open to donations/funding right now:
1) #monitor-bot
Amount Requested: 5000 DNA
2) #telegram-vote-bot
Amount Requested: 10000 DNA
15000 DNA is nothing for ai. So let them give you coins for all your projects. Don't ask miners/investors.

1- 36 milion premine. (82% of all coins in hands of team now)
2- 12K coins from invitations
3- 5% of all new emitted coins goes to the team ~ 13k coins each epoch
https://i.imgur.com/jJ6WpZN.png
12k+13k=25k coins each epoch goes to the team. Thats ~10%

The bot-suggestion is a community born topic. The developers are not asking for funding. It is done by a community member.
Every update they make is announced on "Telegram Idena Announcements" channel, including the list of changes/bugfixes.

I was lucky to find this thread, because this coin is different from coins that are currently crowded. maybe this will be a new idea and will be followed by other developers. I have read and studied this, it will become very popular in the future

Yes, mining gets a new audience.
Different from the classical nerd or investor.
And I think it is one of the most climate friendly coins.

For me this coin has the potential to become adopted worldwide as a real cryptocurrency (not as a speculation object),
because the only thing you need to mine is a standard computer/laptop (later mobile as described in the white-papers) and a working internet-connection.
And the investment done by every identity is the same for every identity (node). You have to spend about 30 - 60 minutes to make the flips and do the validation each epoch (act. 6 days) plus the power you need to run the system is what makes the value.

Every coin has the potential for that, but to this very day 99.9% of coins become nothing more than a speculation object.

Think about this properly. If you have no way or desire to use something so different in your daily life, why would you use it? There are hundred of identity apps already on blockchain and they did not become popular. Why this?

This coin can be mined by everybody with standard-hardware. Getting it up and running is as easy as installing an app.
So something that is potentially available everywhere can become a standard of payment. It is the decision of the people.

Do you have any idea how many nodes are currently running right now?

There are 58 mining nodes running at the moment out of the total 75 validated addresses:
https://scan.idena.io/#miners

and what is the basic hardware requirement running the node?
I have a PC right now with 8 Gb ram and I am using this computer for 12 hours/day, I would like to run one of the nodes if it is possible using my personal computer.

That's fine for running the Idena node.

I have downloaded the wallet and running it on my computer.
this is not fine at all, my disk is running for 90%-95% when I am running the node. It makes my computer very slow, and hard to use.
I do not think it is possible to run the node on VPS too because my account will be suspended if I am running it on my VPS, it requires 90% of the disk to run the node.

This sounds like not enough RAM. What system are you running? Win 10 with 4GB?
