Re: Examine yourself.
by

For minutes I paused reflecting about my time in the forum raising self-directed questions and contemplating on them. Questions like what are those things I can say I have actually learnt since when I joined the forum. How has my growth in knowledge of bitcoin being ever since and what more do I really need to know continuously.

Some people may wonder, why then did i had to bring it to the forum, why not quietly work on  improving yourself more regarding those questions. Anyway, the need to me extending this to the forum is to ignite and reawakening in members that may have lost consciousness of that fact for them to examine themselves for a check and balance.

As a member of the forum and you're not growing in knowledge of the main purpose for which the forum was created for then it's a waste of time and energy for you.  The forum is not just about earnings so if your growth in the forum is focused in ranks you are basically not growing.

In otherwords, if you are lucky enough to scale through the ranks without proportional growth in knowledge of bitcoin then such growth is no good growth at all. A newbie in bitcoin knowledge but an old member by rank you just like a container without a content. So it would be nice of us if we can from time to time take a quiet moment and examine ourselves in relation to the idea behind the forum, ask ourselves necessary questions regarding our timeline with our level of knowledge to the actual purpose of the forum (bitcoin knowledge).

By doing so we can easily keep track of our development and growth rate and try in balancing it side by side ranks and bitcoin knowledge.

Disclaimer: Am just trying to make a  common sense and not that I think myself more aware, knowledgeable and serious than anyone else in the forum and this post was not meant to belittle anyone"s rank at all.
Actually to be a member of this forum is not all about earned money only. The reason why I said that because they're some newbie that immediately they're in to Bitcoin dey will be thinking about how to rank up and is not like that, this forum is not a place that you can be running, you have to have knowledge about subject matter before starting earning money. like me now I am also a newbie the first day I was introduced in to Bitcoin unfortunately i was found it difficult but these days I truly like being in Bitcoin, my only wish is that from zero to hero.

again if no one is selling . ill repeat..  IF NO ONE IS SELLING.. there is no market nor price
imagine a fruit stall with no fruit to sell.. then realise there is no market stall, its just an empty table and a guy twiddling his thumbs not doing anything all day, week, year

nothing to sell =no market
The market must have two components, buyers and sellers. Without buyers or sellers, that market will be dead.

A market without trading volume is dead like many altcoins were dead because no buyers want to buy those dead altcoins. No buyers, no volume, no future.

Those coins will be shown as "this project is an untracked listing." on coinmarketcap
Actually, whatever you are selling toady without customer's is pointless. Because they are among of the coins that are still in circulation and they've few purchasers, somes now are disvolume, base on they're is no buyers.

You want to reduce fuel consumption for your car, read for this. Fuel price is too cost in Nigeria.

https://punchng.com/ways-to-reduce-your-fuel-consumption/

Another is that solar for home is good than fuel generator for Naija. Buy solar.
Your update need to be considered for does that have cars.

As the price of gasoline continue to dey raise, many drivers dey support looking for Ways to reduce the amount of money dey spend  filling up their vehicle's.

They're many ways to avoid consumption of fuel.

1. Reduce amount time you spend  on the road
2. Limit the amount of trips you take to the market and other outings.
3. Consider walking instead of driving to a Unnecessary places.
4. Change the way you drive many drivers do not connet they're vehicles gas mileage.

Re: FG plans to give 8K to poor households.
by
Yaqman01
on 23/07/2023, 08:32:34 UTC
We've heard from the news, the plans federal government has towards the poor,  they say is to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy, which is giving the poor 8k per month for the next six months to 12 million people.

Now here is the interesting part of the whole thing.

1, how do you identify the poor in Nigeria, because half of the Nigerian population are not working, so they can be seen to be poor too, so what measures will the FG deploy for the selection of the poor?
Because in the Buhari's administration, we had a social intervention program introduced too, and the FG said, they selected the poorest of the poor for the program, and billions of naira was doled out for that program and lots of people never saw a dime from it.

2, to what extent will 8 thousand naira go in cushioning the effect?
To what extent will 8 thousand go in cushioning the effect of the fuel subsidy, because the prices of goods and services has gone astronomically high, ranging from electricity bill, transportation, food items etc...

3. the last administration had this idea.
The previous administration had a conditional cash transfer, that we couldn't find a single person that benefited from that program, now to what extent did the program go, they said they gave physical cash to millions of people.
I think the FG should come up with real robust plan to  really cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy,  like providing busses 🚌🚌🚌  at strategic locations within the country, that people can pay a subsidised transport fee,  constant electricity at an affordable rate across the country and fighting food inflation etc
https://www.channelstv.com/2023/07/13/fg-to-transfer-n8000-to-12-million-poor-households-for-six-months/

I am just so appalled with the this country.

How can someone be so heatless and wicked, How long has the government been promising to pay salaries to Nigerians? It has never happened, and no one should expect it that it will happen. Even throughout the administration of Baba Buhari, it was promise to made the most vulnerable.
When Tinubu's was saying that it will carry on from where Baba left off we take it for granted. Now when he eliminated gasoline subsidies, everyone started to suffer And he continued to raise fuel prices without adopting any solutions, how can we underprivileged survive.

Re: How the reality of the country the affect ur business?
by
Yaqman01
on 20/07/2023, 18:32:28 UTC
This new reality in the country is really putting many businesses to a stand still. Shey nah when person don chop bellefull naim go think of buying better clothes to wear, shoe, visiting places of leisures or even flex join? For those of us that are not into foodstuffs and groceries that are necessities of life that no matter how hard and heightened the economic situations turns out  people go still buy food to stay alive.

For some of us wey dey into business like sales of products, materials and other services wey no be foodstuffs, how market nah? For my own area in the past months the patronage don really drop oh and I wan know wether na the same thing for unah too.
How the reality of the country the affect the patronage of your business?

Seriously, if Nigeria doesn't protest this time, it's a horrible situation, and no one should complain. Can you please acknowledge that even with our money, we are still hustlers?

The worst employees are those with fixed salaries since the business people will just raise their prices. To be sincerely the way Nigeria is going presently, they are trying to turn everyone into a local or professional beggar.

Re: Want more BTC? Why not just stop drinking booze!
by
Yaqman01
on 20/07/2023, 14:25:17 UTC
Do you drink alcohol? I recently quit and feel great! For me this is related to Bitcoin, since I am much more optimistic about the future, and have some brain left to learn all about blockchains and smart contracts. How about you, are you doing well on most days?

Alcohol consumption does not alter one's senses or way of life. Alcohol can make you feel refreshed, but it depends on how you consume it. According to some rich men, if you don't consume alcohol, they won't be aware of what they're doing because it was already absorbed into the bloodstream.

Even on the Bitcointalk forum, it might occasionally happen that you have no idea what you're doing, you making it difficult for you to submit comments unless you drink alcohol.

Meaningful events are taking place in our nation, and it has been argued that our elected officials are not looking out for us but rather for themselves.

Can you emerging the news this disturbing that the fuel price increase again 618 per litre. The worst is that this price is what NNPC  is selling! Were by independent feeling stations usually sell higher.

Something need to be done ungently either by those in the authority or those at the receiving end, we can't just continue like this!!

Re: The country no de move forward
by

Sometimes you go hope say if one government comot and another one enter say you see something new and this na true for other countries but for naija, na the same thing no difference, in fact things go hard more when new government enter. Fuel don become something wey don increase poverty among the people.

This fuel situation self don make people dey covert fuel generators to begin use gas. Omo me I still dey look for one side oo, make I see how that one too dey go as them say e dey cheap. Naija , things never dey positive na only negative. Them never arrange palliative but dem remove subsidy. Dem just dey bobo everywhere and that is why people dey kill to enter politics and government because na there the money dey.
How Nigeria ma self dey move now I no understand because as everythings just de cost any how, and our leaders overlook us this is in proper if na true we go talk. We know that this subsidy remover is own favor but people no understand, that's why some people just de para any how.
