Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin
by
Yara1
on 28/04/2019, 10:06:51 UTC
We all know how beneficial it is for us to have a currency like Bitcoin , something that we can use without any interference and without any middle man, but there is always a problem with things that we usually unsee because of the huge benefits it earns to us and this time it's environmental pollution.
Bitcoin as we know it requires mining to continue it's supply , but the thing is mining consumes Tons of energy and thus makes it harder for us to cope up with the stress it is putting up on the environment.
Pollution, global warming  Bitcoin is causing all this , one might argue that it won't be necessary after a while but what about right now ? It's hurting the environment and we have no stable solution for this.
Shouldn't we focus on this too ? Rather than other things ?
Let me ask a question, despite the high rate of pollution generated by industrial machines should we stop industrialization, bitcoin mining is the power house of bitcoin and at that whatever sacrifice we have to pay for it operations is not too much.

Re: SoftBank Founder Masayoshi Son Lost $130 Million on Bitcoin
by
Yara1
on 24/04/2019, 11:29:09 UTC
What I have seen here is two factors that lead to masayoshi son lose in bitcoin, first he followed the advice of a bitcoin market booster which is very wrong because in a volatile market such as bitcoin there is no professional analyst that can give 100% prediction on the future of bitcoin market and secondly haven invested in middle of 2017 when the price was heading to the sky he should have hold his bitcoin when is has gone down and already running at lost. Because you only lose when you sale below cost price so in his best interest he should have considered hodling till the market recover before selling.

I was not around in 2015 but from what I have read about the bitcoin market movement in 2015 I can say it likely following the same pattern in 2019 and at that since history can not repeat it self twice we may not have the same market result in 2019/as it happen in 2015 bit with similar experience and growth. We are all optimistic that the 2020 bitcoin halving will be the starting point of a significant rise of bitcoin price judging from past experience.

Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto?
by
Yara1
on 14/04/2019, 05:54:09 UTC
M-Pesa has nothing to do with cryptos and bitcoin, and the whole " Countries in Africa adopting cryptos" is such an overhyped theme people are getting bored of it.

It's been years since everybody was claiming each damn 3 world country be it from Asia or Africa, from Philipinne to Zimbabwe, Kenya to Vietnam will bring the new revolution and when articles like this came out some are still surprised about how reality, not hype works.

For god's sake, there are countries there where the illiteracy rate is above 60%!!! , we should talk about adopting an ABC not BTC.
You are right Africa as a continent need high level of education at the moment the level of poverty and underdevelopment in Africa is at alarming stage and at that only few members of that continent can access and use devices which are require for the smooth operation of bitcoin and cryptocurrency entirely. So African countries can work.on the improvement of other sector such as welfare, education and the economy in general before hyping how the continent is embracing bitcoin because in no time reality will speak.

Re: What we should do for bitcoin
by
Yara1
on 12/04/2019, 19:01:44 UTC
The only thing that bitcoin users can do for bitcoin is for them to preach bitcoin to everyone so that bitcoin can be adopted as the main currency for doing transactions so that bitcoin can receive general acceptability and becomes the main currency for global transactions.

Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency?
by
Yara1
on 12/04/2019, 12:57:13 UTC
The only way to make people to use bitcoin as a currency is by general adoption of bitcoin as a regular currency and for business to start to accept bitcoin for payment of they goods and services. In that way we will not need to exchange bitcoin to other coin before using it.

Re: [Community Manager 2 yrs. Exp.]
by
Yara1
on 11/04/2019, 07:47:55 UTC
You claim to have two years experience but your forum account is not that old. You presumably didn’t start getting experience the day you created your account.

You need to address this discrepancy.

So a community manager must have a bitcointalk account? Grow up dude.
You are right your two year experience may not necessarily come from bitcointalk and can have such experience from else where, but on bitcointalk we calculate your experience base on the number of projects you have managed, just keep on working and in no time if you are legit it will show up.

by
Yara1
on 11/04/2019, 07:31:29 UTC
Indeed we can not over look the place of events in the price of bitcoin, but the fact still remains that events can only influence the market when there is an enabling environment that is people and businesses ready to accept bitcoin and at this time there are more events and high number of business ready to accept bitcoin so I will say in no time from now the next bull run will be here again.

Some time there is a wide gap between knowing the truth and doing what is right and the crisis we have most times in life is how to act right, we already know the right things to do but our ability to do them is what is difficult and that is human nature for you.

What really make your system different from all the previous ones, and do you have high payments rate for your faucet because from previous experience faucet in no longer profitable to most and always tend to time wasting.
