I think it's up more than it's supposed to already. I don't see how one halving should drive the price up x4.

I'd hold and not trade with altcoins. If btc price spikes while holding altcoins, you'd lose most in not all the profit you made trading. Just my opinion.

Either case, $100 is too little. Should increase your funds

The decreasing-supply algorithm (Halving) was chosen because it approximates the rate at which commodities like gold are mined. (Finite supply currency)

And it's done every 210,000 blocks, or approximately 4 years.

I'd take half of it in bitcoin, or just the part that I'm going to save (Yes, I believe the price will only increase in the long run). It's hard to use bitcoin offline (shopping etc..) At least in my area.

Heard about it since it was starting out. I didn't get involved for a long time, but kept watching how it is going in tech news sites etc..

Tried to get involved in helping, so I did my part in translations for the main bitcoin.org site. I didn't even have a wallet back then, I kept making new one (trying out the wallets back then) and then losing/forgetting my access to them

Until Electrum came by, that was when I made a wallet that I could stick to.
