After Arbitrum paid a lot to airdroppers in the past, many people hoped for another and we started going after every projects that looked like the next big one but many don't pay or failed us after doing some tasks, I smell the same with this tapswap, just because Notcoin did great people will start looking for a similar project to give up similar reward.

Every tapping projects are now legit in the eye of the masses.

Some other factors to consider:
3070s will require more rigs which increases the cost and makes more work to maintain them.
Older 4090s have a power issue with melting connectors, make sure the ones you're offered have the new connectors.
Thanks, JayDEe

If I say that I've never heard about this issue with RTX4090 I am lying, it is giving me concern too and I will like to know if there is a specific better connectors for this brand GPUs?

Also it seems that 3070 is better in terms of ROI but it will take even more space and extra effort on the maintenance too, but I still prefer the 4090 because it's minimal, in space-wise and other.

This is why I need information about the best power supply and cable connectors for the 4090s.

I appreciate all your replies Everyone, thank you.

So why create this topic? What are you trying to tell others?  As there isn't anything for others to learn from you here, how can they avoid suvh mess someday when they are trying to invest in projects?

Also, isn't this decentraland project from the last bull market of 2021? What many failed to understand about altcoins is that they don't live long after a bull market, those who invested before the bull market of 2021 must have sold their tokens and those left holding are in massive loss.

Always make sure you throw away the old ones and look for new altcoins, thats why new projects always get into the top 20 list on coinmarketcap every bull market, many old projects will fade.

I have crypto mining in mind right now and I am stuck at a junction between these two offers.

X10 of RTX 4090 which costs $2000 = Very good for ProgPowZ which can net me $19 per day using

Or x30 pieces of RTX 3070 graphic cards which are very good for the same ProgPow and can also net me $19

RTX 4090 costs $2000 each and 3070 costs $330 each.

What I was able to find out is that the ten 4090s will take less power consumption than the thirty 3070s, if you are in my shoe which offer will you choose and why?

Is Uniswap reaping people off

I have withdrawn and trade ETH from MEXC multiple times already and I am never charged more than $3 but when I swap ETH ERC 20 on Uniswap the gas fee is almost always $10 and few times over $10, why is it like this? Are DEXs suppose to be more costly normal centralized exchanges?

Re: Finally I listened, proudly a hardware wallet owner

Thanks for your replies guys, the hardware wallet came with extra MasterCard like card where I can safely write down my recovery seed and keep somewhere safe, I thought it was not necessary until I read some replies on here, it's possible that damages can happen to the hardware wallet and my recovery seed is the only way I can get access to my funds again, acknowledged, thanks for the advice.
It is necessary to keep card as that's where you'll write your recovery words but if you prefer to write it somewhere else, it is your preference.
But with that card, it's actually sturdy as long as kept properly and won't get crumpled. So, it depends on how you keep it and I'll say it just as the others have told it.
Congrats!
Thanks for the advice, I do keep the card in between a metal case, I got it from a friend and I knew it can be useful some day, and I keep the case in a safe location with lock key combination, the only issue that I am facing with the wallet currently, is the lack of supported chains, only popular coins can be kept on this wallet.

I visited their web page again and they promise to add many new block chains soon.

Tax on projects a scam habit?
by
YellowSwap
on 01/01/2024, 13:06:56 UTC
Is buying and selling taxes on a new project a scamming habit? Its annoying seeing new projects this days using buy tax and sell tax, I will like to know where the taxes is going, I bet it has nothing to do with regulations, is someone eating this up?

I need someone to teach me how to know where this money is going, or I should mind my own business?

Just a dream but possible
by
YellowSwap
on 27/11/2023, 09:22:57 UTC
Don't yab me for saying this, I am a dreamer after all and dreams do come true at times if we want them to.

I read few topics about willing your Bitcoin for your children and others related to properties with Bitcoin but what comes to my mind is a part where someone said that if all properties can be willed or passed down to your children using a lawyer then it's possible with Bitcoin, this quickly make me remember a rich man in my country who got assasinated by his very own lawyer to rob him off his properties, my question is can we really trust something like this with lawyers?

When you involve a lawyer you have already revealed all your worth to a fellow human being you knew nothing about, there are many corrupted lawyers in my country, I don't know about others but what do you think about this?

I think and think over again about this issue and I created this mind solution of my own, it's still not possible yet but I will like to share it, don't use me to laugh though, great innovations came straight from the mind of the innovator.

Imagine where by a hardware wallet is created with the set time capability to release Bitcoin for your children? I have never seen such but I think it's doable, sorry if I make this sound easy as I am not even a developer.

Imagine having a one year old baby today and you set a certain amount of Bitcoin to be automatically available for moving out after 10 or 17 years later, with date and time, I think it's not impossible, if we can stake coins for a year or two before they become available for moving out why can't we lock Bitcoin in our hardware wallet for a particular period in the future?

The way you handle it determines it's life span
by
YellowSwap
on 26/11/2023, 07:11:16 UTC
For beginners who are still trying to buy a hardware wallet, if you don't know, I think you should, hardware wallets do worn out in time depending on how you use it, a friend came to me showing me his ledger wallet and how clunky the buttons feel today, he complained that making transaction on it is now harder as he have to press button more than once.

Also the little screen color that was once vibrant have now faded like reduction of the screen color, I think this is one of the bad side of hardware wallet, he claimed he bought it three years ago, but I told him he is to be blame, because the max year for a hardware wallet should be up to five years if you use it well, I end up telling him to get another one.

Looking at the hardware wallet, I don't like the sight of it, too many scratches, and I asked him why it looks so ugly, he claimed it fell few times before, like man, you can't be this careless with a hardware wallet.

The best part about hardware wallet is you can abandon the old one by importing your recovery phrase into the new hardware wallet, it's that easy to do and viola! You now have a new hardware wallet with you same old wallet address and assets.

Handle your hardware wallet very well, they hold your assets for you and if you want them to last longer handle them with care, even if you get the most costly hardware wallet, do not let them fall, some come in screens like phone only, no physical buttons to press, imagine letting such hardware fall, if the screen ain't responsive anymore it's over, you will need to spend money again to buy another.

The way you handle your hardware wallet is what will determine its life span.

Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold?
by
YellowSwap
on 24/11/2023, 16:15:10 UTC
Exchange tokens are not that reliable and its hard to know the one that will survive, with the SEC hunting down any exchange they feel like I think they are more risky, it's better to go for decentralized exchange tokens like GMX, I think with what happened to Binance it's time that DEX will be more attractive to users than Centralized exchanges, anything can happen to any exchange at any time, even the biggest ones, Huobi could be the next target too who knows? Invest only what you can afford to lose.

Heelo everyone, I have decide to take my crypto experience to the next level by taking advice of getting a hardware wallet more serious when I can afford one, since I've start making over $1000 and holding assets that's worth more I decide to take this road for my own good.

I have few questions still, I want to know if connecting software wallet to your hardware wallet gives it the security as intended? If I start using software wallet on my hardware wallet does it add more to it's security? Or it's a bad idea?

What other things I need to look out for using my keynote hardware wallet?

As for the firmware update, I have two options, one through SD card and the second through USB connection, which one do you think is better and safer upgrade way?

Is there any Keystone user on here? What's your user experience so far? Mine is Keystone 3 pro

Re: We should start looking into Altcoins
by

on 23/11/2023, 20:28:01 UTC
The Liquidity pouring into BTC will eventually start pouring into top altcoins and we can already see it happening with likes of $SOL , LINK , $INJ etc making massive moves !

The obvious play here is to learn and leverage on top altcoins to buy
Just be careful, I think it's too early to start looking into altcoins, you are right that the price is surging right now but a little dip correction from Bitcoin wi cripple the altcoins massively, we still don't know if the ETFs will get approved and we still don't know what will happen in 2024 too, we are not out of the bear market yet so it's better to keep buying over time using dollar cost average only. Avoid going all into altcoins.

Airdrops are now making a return, we can expect scammers to be on alert because of the next upcoming airdrops, it is left for everyone to be careful with what platform or links they choose to connect their wallet too, I have given up on airdrops but the noise I am hearing about how many people make thousands of dollars from Arbitrum is very tempting, I think will start giving airdrop a second thought, for this time at least.

Re: Why recommend when they don't understand the risks?
by
YellowSwap
on 06/03/2023, 06:01:46 UTC
Some people believe that trading Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is a sure way to make money, so they jump in without any background knowledge, and when they fail, they blame the person who introduced them to cryptocurrency, despite the fact that they were supposed to learn before they started trading.
They blame the person who introduced them to cryptocurrency, just like you said, but just think about what they would do if you are the one that help them choose the exact project to invest money on? I believe that is what OP is trying to say, the pressure will be much and the hate will be out of this world,  you are a bit safe if you just introduce them to crypto and they make decisions of choosing a project.

A Proof of Work project that ask for your email login before viewing what the project is all about? That's a red flag.

I'm not ready to go deep into this project for you OP, this is 100% a pure scam project, start looking into more stronger PoW coins like Flux, Ergo, Ravencoin or Ethereum PoW, these projects are way better.

More and more secrets are been revealed about FTX, the latest one is the founder is now on the run.

A hacker was tagged by Kraken exchange and the hacker identity is already known, this makes me happy as these people won't get away with this cruel act this time around.

I believe the hacker is an insider, since the CEO net worth is now Zero he won't want to leave empty handed.

We won't be waiting for too long to know what these people are cooking behind the scene.

What is happening right now with Alameda and FTX is for the greater good, now people will take dex more serious than before, also Ledger and other hardware wallet companies will sell so much in coming months, it's time that people will take hardware wallets very seriously.

Big crypto exchanges will have to always show proof of reserves before they can run in some countries like the USA.

It's all well and good.
