Re: Why so many inactive participants in bounties campaign.
by
Yemmy4eva

Since most bounties count stakes, inactive people dont get rewards for just signing up.
The inactive ones probably forgot or they are not meeting up with rules and requirements

Re: Do crypto currency accepted in your country?

My country is still very skeptical about cryptocurrencies and they're yet to understand the difference between bitcoin and altcoins. But many countries are still sitting on the fence too but not for long.
Some individuals have started taking crypto payments and as such will inprove adoption in my country

Re: which app for tracking your coin?

Personally I love and use Blockfolio app. It has many features. You can select to see the value of your portfolio in different local currencies and you can add any trade you carried out. It also supports many exchanges so you can see the price of your coin in the particular exchange you bought it
It's quite easy to use

Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto?
by
Yemmy4eva
on 16/07/2018, 12:55:52 UTC
Because cryptocurrency is offering a lot that governments are not offering. Authorities want to throw out very small money to masses and earning could be so difficult. Then there is the issue of taxes on income.

With crypto, you earn anonymously. There's so much one can do to earn online and its consoling in areas like mine where unemployment is on the rise

Re: Who dump coins early; Bounty hunters or ICO investors?
by
Yemmy4eva
on 14/07/2018, 14:49:20 UTC
It has been observed on many occasions that it is the early investors who are already in profit by the end of token sale and whales who get huge bonuses that dump immediately on exchange.
Many bounty hunters want to wait for token value to appreciate but the dumpers would create panic and make bounty hunters join the trend

Bountyhive is cool. All the hassles of reporting is cut out all you have to do is connect accts and perform tasks.
But I still think they dont give much rewards, especially for twitter and facebook

I'd love to really explain things for people, I do that sometimes.
But the discouraging thing is people just want to know what's in it for them, what's the profit margin and 101 other annoying questions
The rest of the people who dont ask those questions are so adamant abt their opinion on cryptocurrency.
But once in a while I meet people who are genuinely interested and I help them get the gist of things.
I wouldn't want to lead people on on high hopes and all that, then any little FUD they blame me

You need a little bit of all so you dont miss out on any spike. You could divide your portfolio this way:  30% in bitcoin, 30%in ethereum and 40% altcoins
Keep good altcoins, stay safe

Re: Crypro will make people smarter?
by
Yemmy4eva
on 14/07/2018, 14:05:29 UTC
I'd say cautious is the word, but of course smart people are cautious.
Funny enough these scam projects will always have victims because a lot of people just want to jump into crypto and make money so they get scammed.

I can probably say I've become smarter because I check out whitepapers and do extra research now, unlike last year when I was too lazy for that.
My interest in blockchain technology has grown too and I'm presently looking for ways to build a career in the cryptospace

Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC
by
Yemmy4eva
on 14/07/2018, 13:51:06 UTC
It could be painful to see people cheat the system and get away with it, but, I have to say I understand the fake ID ish when it comes to KYC.
I really dont get why it's that important because most times the data sent in is not even available online and I still have no idea how they verify it.

My main concern is the issue of identity theft. It's a very serious issue. Anyone can come up with a project and gather people's passports and do whatever they like with it.
Your ID could be left at a crime scene, or it could even be used to rig votes politically.
It gives me chills when I think about it
I'd rather stay away

Re: Are you picky with ICOs?

Of course I am picky! If I want to become a philanthropist there are better ways to do it.
I have to read up and check out all available info including criticism before buying. I dont throw money about.
With all the research one is never completely safe till launch of project

While I cant say that all ICO without whitepaper is scam, I also cant say they are legit. Only very few survive without whitepaper, but it's a red flag on many occasions.
Whitepaper is very important

Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it?
by
Yemmy4eva
on 10/07/2018, 06:55:22 UTC
Well, I just stick to bounties that I think has a lot of potential, not just now because bear market is affecting everyone now including good projects. Think of it as a long term investment.
I'm not saying all bounties are worth the sleepless nights, I'm just saying some will be and the few good ones can make the difference

Re: what exactly are we waiting for?
by
Yemmy4eva

Catalyst is good news, good news and more good news, then adoption and real life use. This will attract more ppl and new money.
If people keep hearing news of ban and exchange hacks it's not good for the market because Crypto is still young and people are not sure about its future so they are easily swayed and weak hands sell off and prices dump more

Re: why does coins change price constantly?
by
Yemmy4eva
on 09/07/2018, 15:30:11 UTC
Because there's a lot of factors that affect coin price, just like forex trades.
There's news, there's T.A, there's market sentiments, etc
Meanwhile, you dont really want the price of a coin to be stagnant, because if its like that then how will traders make profit? Volatility is one of the advantages of crypto currency

Re: Advice to all bounty hunters.
by
Yemmy4eva
on 09/07/2018, 15:14:01 UTC
I only take part in projects i see plenty potential in, and when I'm paid I dont just dump immediately. I just pity the ppl who dump all at once because they will regret.
If you must sell, then 30% is good. And dont set orders below Ico price
