Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high
by

on 25/12/2017, 13:45:15 UTC
Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley

Because bitcoin start 2011 and most of altcoins after 2014.also big sites accept bitcoin only "localbitcoin, paxful,...."

it is easy to get altcoin when have bitcoin.

Hi everyone. I've tried participating in a couple of airdrops but haven't gotten any coins yet. For those of you who have, how do you go about making anything out of airdrops? Is it worthwhile or just the usual pump and dump?

it is best if you new and not have money or skills will make good income and can use this to start your own investment.
i know some friends earn good from it

Re: Transfering USD from Web Wallet to Exchange
by

on 25/12/2017, 08:07:45 UTC
Hello,
I have been trying to figure out if I can send USD from my web hosted wallet, to an exchange. The option listed says 'transfer to a cryptocurrency address', but it kind of seems like its for transferring BTC not USD, and I'm concerned the USD might dissapear if I sent it somewhere it cant go.
Thanks! I'm new here, please let me know if I posted in the wrong place.
Brock

you only send number of bitcoins, your wallet give you exchange to USD to know how many bitcoins will send.

you will receive number of bitcoins which may increase and decease with dollar.

As soon as majority of the world is informed and knows about digital currency, what do you think will happen? No matter how good it sounds to traditional banking, how much of the population will make cryptocurrency grow?

we started move from personal investment into company investment in cryptocurrency.

in 2018 will find more support and used cryptocurrency also big companies will start them own coins

Hey Everyone .. I have some satoshis on my accounts in " freebitco " which connected with xapo wallet address ..

I am wondering if I changed my withdrawal address into " Yobit " deposit address or any other coins market is this gonna work or I will lost them

cause its too expensive the transaction fees to xapo

Thanks in advance Smiley

" freebitco " is control fee when sending your  satoshis so will give you about 600 sat for sending which is so high.

try to wait more better than choose other wallet

Litecoin was regarded as silver to Bitcoin. However, its performance is much worse than Bitcoin.

What's your view on Litecoin's future? Will it catch up or continue to underperform?

litecoin is silver and have technology near to bitcoin.

ether just take litecoin place and make it’s price little

Re: I felt bad buying this morning at $14,000...
by

But now that it has shot up to nearly $17,000 in just a few hours, it doesn't seem like too bad an investment!

Its crazy thinking that just last week i didn't want to buy at $10, or even $11k!

My only fear is that the bubble will pop with it increasing so quickly

this is best time to buy more bitcoin price correction and fee stable.

all time is good but in some times will get max profits

Re: Bitcoin is correcting, what if big players could massively short it?
by
Yieng7th
on 24/12/2017, 14:38:01 UTC
When the price goes down, everyone is incentivized to buy some more because it's very hard to short it. You buy some, wait for your profits, then exit and start again.

Meaning : The current meta is made for bulls.

Hence my question : what would happen right now if big players could short it? Would it drive the price down like crazy? Will bitcoin futures change the meta?

that was happening  now  bitcoin correction to 11,000$ and big players on coinbase buy more bitcoins and make price stable at 14,000$

now price moving fast

Re: Transaction cost possible fix
by
Yieng7th
on 24/12/2017, 14:05:18 UTC
The cost of moving bitcoin from one wallet to another has exponentially grown to an unacceptable amount in the past year. We've all seen this trend and to normal people it is very concerning in terms of adoption and use. Over a long period of time an idea came to me that made sense and though I don't have the resources or knowledge to implement it I needed to share it to get some discussion going.

Instead of moving bitcoin between wallets, what's stopping people from trading wallets? I've been following bitcoin since 2013 and though I have not had much experience with wallets, I know that each wallet has a private key that opens it. What's stopping bitcoin development from creating wallets with set amounts of bitcoin in them and allowing them to be traded? In terms of people writing down the private key, when a wallet is traded can't there be a new key generated for it? And so instead of trading bitcoin between wallets, people could trade wallets and reduce the strain on the blockchain and potentially lower fees of transferring bitcoin between people.

I didn't know where else to post this so maybe someone can point me in the right direction or share thoughts on this idea. I'm sure it's come up before.

Transaction cost is part of bitcoin when bitcoin rising you earn some profie and must pay high fee.

today price down and also fee down it is justify and possible

Re: I want to invest

I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.

Where do I start?

P.S - How is BTC expected to be the future if it so volatile, you will always have to worry about how much your paying ETC.

you must know you put your money in risky way and may lost it.

bitcoin will add you more funds in future just move some money to exchange site then into safe wallet
