Honestly speaking, I just think that each algorithm has something special to it and some problems as well. You just have to find which one works best for you and how you can make the most out of each one.

I think it might be fine, if it's only a small amount you may hold. However, if it is big, I suggest you let go of it instead of just letting it sit. Those things can be a little complicated and it would be better if you study about them first.
