Cryptopoolmining seems down? I can't access the site... so I switched my NiceHash contract to Mining Pool Hub. I figured I'd point this out and see if anybody knows what's going on with it. I did tweet them but haven't gotten a response.
Yes Nice/West Hash have been down for a while now. I have gone back to solo mining for the last 3 days of SLR mining. With difficulties down in the 10's that is practical; and I do not expect any great hash numbers appearing with the reward at 6 SLR.
It gave me an opportunity to get the new wallet (1.5) sorted out on my little solar powered rig, so that it can then stay open 24/7 - even when I shut down the gridseeds, because they don't earn their lunch in practical terms anymore.
I can recycle the heatsinks and fans....

QT builds for linux are completed and tested, everything is syncing to the network as expected and I've managed to download the full blockchain already. I will post more news when I hear word back on Mac/Windows builds which should be in the next day or so. I will also provide a change log and list of new functionality tomorrow when I get some rest... for now I need to get some sleep

Yes it is still alive.I'm considering to change the algorithm to X11/PoS as there are not enough miners to sustain Yolocoin as a pure Scrypt/PoW currency.
PLease change it to x11/pos/anonymous.

Nowadays with 1 mah/s and currently difficulty at 8, withdrawl is about 180 per day. Then will be 90 per day, resulting solarcoin as "rare crypto" if price will triple. If price remain the same, 99% miners go away and let it die.
We will see.
Mining isn't the only way to get Solarcoins

Need to know when the block reward will be cut in half
calendar or block 525,600? If solarcoin block rates climb to 50k-60k+/month with ASICs, and it's block based, we'll be there well before the end of the year.
From main.cpp:nSubsidy >>= (nHeight / 525600);
The block reward will be cut in half on block 525'600.
