Dear friends, I am totally confused with the Bitcoin Association's press release to freeze Bitcoins https://bitcoinassociation.net/statement-on-empty-block-miner/

So it looks like this is software created and used by the Bitcoin Association to move any Bitcoin without going to court for BSV, BTC, BCH and all the others? They take the law into their own hands?

I have read on https://twitter.com/Dr_CSWright/status/1582655700375048193?s=20&t=i2Q4rul21-xP5Fy6SXvU7A

- All 21 million Bitcoin are issued. I own them, but promised these under a contract agreement. These miners are engaged in theft.

Will the Bitcoin Association or Dr. Craig Wright eventually collect all of everyone's issued Bitcoins and ruin all of people's service savings?

Will the Bitcoin Association or Dr. Craig Wright eventually collect all of everyone's issued Bitcoins and ruin all of people's service savings? In my case I have Bitcoin in cold storage. I caught it while it was available. I plan to use these stored bitcoins as my life progresses incidentally I plan to use them for goods and services? Am I outside of your user agreement that I never signed?

Who are the insiders of these strategies?

Why not be totally open about what you plan to do in a clear statement?

BSV Bitcoin Association member, Dr. Craig Wright, please answer my questions. [/color]

Dr. Wright has never brought out a brand new play. BSV is Bitcoin, traceable from the Genesis block of January 2009. Other assets, such as BTC and BCH, claim the Bitcoin name and their backers will naturally attack anything that claims legitimacy on theirs.

Why is [BSV] BitcoinSV project still active? Why haven't investors left the project and brought BSV rate down to 0 so far?

Because BSV's strong 💪

Satoshi Vision
Our ecosystem is based on four pillars that form the basis of Bitcoin SV’s infrastructure creating the leading blockchain protocol for the world.
– Satoshi Nakamoto (April 2009)
“The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling.”
Unleashing the power of Bitcoin SV
Our ecosystem is based on four pillars that form the basis of Bitcoin SV’s infrastructure to create the one blockchain for the world.

Stability
Enabling businesses to plan years in advance and commit significant resources to build on a stable protocol.

Scalability
Delivering capacity increases through scalable architecture and miner configurable block sizes.

Security
Fostering best practice change management processes, external security audits and lucrative bug bounty program.

Safe Instant Transactions (SIT)
Unlocking the bricks-and-mortar merchant market and enabling new business models with micropayments and nanoservices.

Stability
Businesses, especially the biggest enterprises, require stability before they will operate on a technology platform.

The Bitcoin SV vision is to provide assured stability with only a limited and well known set of changes planned to restore the Bitcoin protocol to its original design, and enable innovation to occur on top of a stable base protocol.

Part of this is restoring the Satoshi op_codes to enable businesses and development teams around the world to create the many solutions possible on the Bitcoin SV blockchain, such as smart contracts, tokenisation, atomic swaps, and many more.

Scalability
In order for Bitcoin SV to truly act as a global money platform, it is necessary to demonstrate that the platform is ready to process transaction volume at the required scale. The Bitcoin SV roadmap is primarily focussed on delivering capacity increases, through bigger default or miner configurable block sizes and performance improvements. Out of the many test environments in use by the project, the SV Gigablock Testnet (SV-GBTN) is specifically dedicated to identifying bottlenecks and performance measurement of proposed changes. The SV-GBTN is running on a continuous cycle of performance tests, and the results of those, are for public consumption so that miners and other industry participants will be able to make informed scaling decisions.

By enabling massive scaling, Bitcoin SV will pave the way for the Bitcoin SV blockchain to support significantly higher transaction volumes and more transaction fees for miners. This is important for miners to maintain profitability as the block reward will halve again in the year 2020 (reducing from 12 BSV to 6.25 BSV for each block), and halve again in later years.

Massive scaling is also important to convince enterprises to use Bitcoin SV for their blockchain applications – which will require big blocks and large throughput capacity.

Security
Bitcoin SV will be a global currency. To enable such a future, we need to be prepared to ensure a level of security commensurate with a global money system. To do this, the Bitcoin SV project has focused on rigorous Quality Assurance for mining node software.

This is achieved by implementing a rigid set of test phases with full traceability throughout the test pipeline, to assure users that changes pass through a formal and rigorous validation process before they are accepted. In this respect, Bitcoin SV aspires to levels of Quality Assurance exemplified by mission critical industries such as aerospace, medicine and national security.

First, the team will use best practice change management processes and engage external QA expertise from other security-sensitive industries to monitor and audit its QA processes.

Second, the project will engage the services of an industry-leading blockchain security audit firm.

Third, the project will offer a lucrative bug bounty program matching the likes of Google and Microsoft to motivate and mobilise security researchers around the world to find and responsibly report security vulnerabilities. The team has engaged expert service providers in the field to develop an industry best practice “Responsible Disclosure Program.”

Safe Instant Transactions (SIT)
Safe Instant Transactions are key to unlocking the brick-and-mortar merchant market for Bitcoin SV payments. Security improvements can be made to better secure instant transactions for the future, and the Bitcoin SV roadmap treats safe instant transactions as a key priority.

What do you think of bsv, is it worth it?

I see BSV is clearly characterized so it's made to be used especially with micro payments, it's very practical, not like other crypto's which are only used for speculation, it's not really the leitmotiv at Bitcoin SV. As far as my recent experience is concerned, I discovered Bitcoin SV in a more in-depth way and frankly it's really different from a lot of crypto projects, there are a lot of people working on it all over the world and producing! I didn't think it would be followed so much and yet. It's a whole ecosystem that is created with a lot of verifiable companies! honestly I don't regret having discovered this gem. It's really more active in their environments than 98% of crypto projects that clearly stand out.

I registered here on purpose to start my adventure because i too want to help spread the word about Bitcoin SV, which i think deserves much more.

What is the economic model of earning and using in Bitcoin?
Cultural narratives have long-term economic consequences! The bitcoin culture spent several years in a battle with the small vision of the developers of Bitcoin Core .

BTC supporters are caught up in the idea that Bitcoin only exists as a 'store of value' or investment tool designed to help escape the conventional economy. They believe that the price of BTC will continue to rise, even if the token has no real use in daily life. In their opinion, those who "stack Sats" and "HODL" will be enriched simply by holding on to Bitcoin, with no incentive for the currency's real utility.

In the BTC economic model, value must constantly come from the non-Bitcoin economy, so that the price of the coin rises continuously. The utility of BTC as a store of value is exhausted without a near-constant investment of new money, so B TC is a long-term dead end.

In clear contrast, the Satoshi view requires bitcoin to be earned and used in daily life, just as we earn and trust currency by using it as part of a cyclical economy. That's why the Bitcoin SV culture is filled with entrepreneurs who understand that bitcoin only gets real value for economic gain, rather than investors who just expect the price of the currency to rise for no reason.

Bitcoin SV will become the engine of an economic revolution driven by the creation of an unimaginable amount of value from honest businesses registered in a verifiable ledger. All this is achieved by merging the data and monetary value of bitcoin, in the form of a frictionless, peer-to-peer electronic cash system that is so efficient, it allows for micro-payments of small fractions of a cent. This opens the door to new business models, where user data, online interactions, content and other activities all have a measurable monetary value for consumers.

In the Bitcoin SV economic model, value is created within the block chain and integrated with the economy outside the block chain, in order to generate profits that create incentives for more people to EARN and USEN BSV by increasing speed in an open market. Bitcoin SV does not require constant new investment in the currency itself, to maintain artificial value creation, but benefits more from bitcoin entrepreneurs and large companies that generate business both inside and outside the block chain and that use onchain transactions to achieve their economic goals.

No more "buy and hold. Bitcoin SV is here to help users "WIN and USE" by making Bitcoin exponentially valuable in the real world economy.

Bitcoin technology / 4th Industrial Revolution. Bringing data value, monetizing data, allowing data to given value opens up so many amazing possibilities on services, goods & business that can built on the scalable BitcoinSV blockchain. People owning that data and allowing access or selling it.

We can use bitcoin to build a internet and electronic money system. The internet wasn't built with money integrated. Now we have highly programmable money that can do something(s)

Bitcoin is a technology that covers a transdisciplinary field of study and historically solved a number of computer science problems, Bitcoin allows store of value but also quick transmission of value. Bitcoin is a protocol, anything else calling the name bitcoin is false since Bitcoin is in a specific topological network configuration. All of the social science mechanics such as game theory etc site ontop of the physical actual network makeup.

Just 21 million bitcoins allow a uninflated medium of exchange, speed of transaction and confirmation of that payment gives quickness of value transmission and movement of value from different people/machines. Machine to machine payments and apps that use Bitcoin as backend allows machines to automate payments and new innovative services and businesses to emerge.

Instant transactions make high value transactions occur at once, nano transaction too means data of can be sent and bitcoin can become "piping for applications", "Bitcoin as Backend".

Many different blockchains, DLT, ICO projects have come & gone. Ether positioned itself as the "world computer", the reality via its network configuration means Ethereum's suffers congestion, high transactions costs. 99% of crypto blockchains are centralised, 99% just doesn't scale.

Some of the progress happening on BitcoinSV in the development space has massive implications for the applications enterprise level applications too. BitcoinSV has scaled faster in 1 year than 10yr of crypto, check the growing research by nChainGlobal on new transaction types, parallel & looped transactions all onchain on Bitcoin Satoshis Vision.

BitcoinSV has delivered on the more original robust scaling network configuration as per the bitcoin white paper, being cash like in principle by its super cheap fees, Sound Money by its 21 million limit, Delivered at scaling ( via Genesis Upgrade, Restoration of Code "Unfuckening") unmatched transmission speeds (various scaling testnet and mainnet world record block sizes).

BitcoinSV also has applications for bitcoin computation giving it the unique capability of infinite programmability & Turing Completeness.

BSV's capability unrivalled.
BitCoin is a protocol, not political ideology, as a protocol it forked away from BTC (When segwit was added) then forked away from Bch (pre consensus/avalanche) in that respect we could say its the child of BitcoinCash yet the mother of BTC.

#BitcoinSV restoration of the protocol means it can enable massive scaling, bringing new capabilities in IOT, communications, commerce and business.
BTC remains at peak capacity, meanwhile BitcoinSV is processing transactions of all types daily.

BitcoinSV meanwhile has more Tx volume and increasing hash grows as the real Bitcoin when more miners are moving over for profit and as more services open up. BTC (Segwit) obviously can't be bitcoin, it has segwit (signatures are offchain) which has a whole host of problems, along with a stifled 1MB cap on block size. The fees are outrageous and basically destroyed adoption and set back Bitcoin adoption by years.

At Satoshi’s Vision Conference in Tokyo, Japan, nChain Chief Scientist Dr. Craig Wright's visual description of the capability of the Bitcoin network – particularly in the form of Bitcoin SV which can massively scale. He emphasised the importance of a system of connectivity across the network, the way Bitcoin’s small world network incentivizes miners to verify accurate transactions and protect themselves against DDOS and how SPV (simplified payment verification) p2p transactions site within the network.

Dr Craig Wright explained the Turing Completeness of Bitcoin to Nick Szabo on a bitcoin panel ages back. Nick Szabo dismissed him as did the other stage attendees who mocked Dr Craig Wright, misunderstood, only now are we beginning to understand the applications to Turing Completeness on Bitcoin, This changes everything... Bitcoin becomes a .... #WorldComputer

A Turing Complete system means a system in which a program can be written that will find an answer (although with no guarantees regarding runtime or memory).

Ever heard of [ btc ]? Not the fake one you fool.

It would be more than necessary for the E.U, CN, RU, U.S. and the world to understand that it can move legally and safely towards technology.

Yeah, centralize everything, and then bend over. Again. Tongue

No harm done here! The quantum calculations already exist, but not yet the exploitation application to this day (to my knowledge) it's good to know that we can already protect BSV ourselves from such an attack Smiley even by script.

CoinGeek Live 2020: Regulating the digital assets industry is key to future growth

The days when digital assets were considered a lawless wild west which was beyond the reach of regulators is way behind us. On Day 1 of the CoinGeek Live conference, some of the leading minds in the legal industry discussed the regulation of the digital asset industry, letting us in on how to build a compliant Bitcoin business in the U.S., Japan and the European Union.

While regulators started off on the back foot in policing the digital assets industry, most of them are now catching up, Joshua Ashley Klayman told the virtual audience. Klayman is a senior counsel at Linklaters LLP, a London-based law firm with over 3,000 lawyers across the world. Based in New York, Klayman works with digital asset companies that are seeking to get into the U.S. market.

“It’s been said many times that there’s a lack of regulatory clarity. I think at this point, that’s just an excuse. I think if you engage with the regulators, you can find a path forward,” she remarked.

Klayman was joined on stage by Howard Schweitzer, the CEO of Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies. The other panelists were Masakazu Masujima of Tokyo-based law firm Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, and Dr. Lukas Repa, the head of digital innovation and blockchain at the European Commission.

In a panel moderated by Bitcoin Association Founding President Jimmy Nguyen, the speakers shared some of the most common concerns that regulators have with digital assets. Consumer protection, cybersecurity, privacy, fraud, AML and KYC procedures and environmental friendliness were some of the most common across most jurisdictions.

Harmonization of digital asset regulations has also become one of the key talking points in recent years. In the U.S. for instance, digital asset service providers have to acquire licenses in every other state they operate in, making it quite hectic. The BitLicense in New York has been among the most controversial, with some major companies avoiding the state altogether.

The Digital Community Exchange Act in the U.S. is seeking to eliminate these state barriers. Approved by the House of Representatives, the bill is seeking to bring the industry under the jurisdiction of the CFTC. In Europe, the European Union is also working on an EU passport for digital asset companies that allows them to obtain a license in one country and use it across the 27 member states.

While there’s need for regulation, there must be a balance between consumer protection and promotion of innovation, the four panelists jointly proposed. In Europe, the EU has been encouraging the creation of regulatory sandboxes, while in Japan, self-regulatory bodies are bridging the gap for the authorities.

To conclude, the panelists urged digital asset service providers to engage with regulators more, presenting them with solutions to their concerns.

“There are people at these regulatory bodies who are willing to work with digital asset companies. Engage them, tell them this is how we plan on solving your concerns from the onset,” Klayman concluded.

The subject is interesting, without trust no regulation... without regulation... no state therefore no existence. All open and in conformity with the laws. This is not the case for many other coins.

It would be more than necessary for the U.S. to understand that it can move legally and safely towards technology.

But it could ask for infallible and solid guarantees? I wonder if the protocol can withstand quantum technologies that explore all the tracks at the same time?
