• Additionally, we would like to seek being supported on more and larger exchanges.
Right now Bittrex alone makes up most of ZClassic's trading volume.
We appreciate the support from @BittrexExchange thus far, but also need to expand and have a more stable trade distribution.

ZClassic Development Consideration:

• Masternodes
• Anonymity, 100% Privacy
• TOR/I2P Integrated Wallet
• Improved Scalability
• Incentives to attract more Miners
• Updating ZClassic's code base to Zcash's current version
(Right now both ZClassic and Bitcoin Private are developed on very old, outdated code)

This is a list of ideas being gathered for discussion by the potentially new dev team.

So turns out my question about future (and non-existent) plans for zclassic was right - there currently isn't a development team, but looks like some developers are willing to take over the project.

Any developer who is willing to takeover a coin that does not include a mining reward for developers or other benefits should be looked on favourably by the community!

But in answer to your question, I don't think there are any active discussions regarding the formation of a new team.

Yes, we are growing in numbers and currently working to form a great new development team for ZClassic.
